I love this man.  He makes sense.  He has a real understanding of the reality of the situation and what needs to be done.

What's funny is to compare him to another soldier, militarymuscle69, whose beliefs are very different.  militarymuscle69 is gloating over the war extension money, and claims he's too "smart" to get killed in Iraq.  MM69 believes extending the war is a WIN for him and his party.  I think that as his job involves dropping stuff from the air and not seeing what's happening on the ground, he feels insulated enough to believe it's going well there.

Every day I realize what a threat these pricks are to our way of life..however driving down the road to get blown up in no way to fight a war. Afghanistan sure..if for no other reason then to prove we can win an insurgency.
