Title: How to balance my Goldman Sach's CFO position and bodybuilding?
Post by: Taint on August 06, 2007, 02:00:06 PM
Hi guys, I'm in quite the predicament. I'm the CFO at a investment banking firm. Perhaps you've heard of Goldman Sachs. I became CFO at 24. Anyways, while making millions and driving my Enzo is nice, my first love is bodybuilding. As of right now, I stand at 6'3 295 and roughly 6% bodyfat. All natural of course. My real problem is that with all of these multi-million dollar deals I've been brokering lately, I haven't had time to hit the gym. I really miss the feel of repping 455 for 6 for incline. I'm wondering if anyone has advice on how to balance business and pleasure, while getting the best of both worlds. I'm thinking of purchasing another home in Cali so I can be near the many gyms they have, but with the 7 I already have, I'm not too sure. Thanks and looking forward to the replies!

No offense, but you should leave this kind of humor to Squadfather.  You're simply no good at it.

Humor? Why are you following me around now? It's August 6th, surely you must have something better to do than bother someone much more successful than you? Perhaps your Church group is putting on a play soon, and you can put the 600 hours you've spent impersonating some New Zealander to better use?

I could still use some advice. The more the merrier.

Humor?

Yes, Mr. Pathetic Attempt at Being a Gimmick, I said "humor."  Did I stutter?  You tried to be funny, nobody thinks you're funny, now you pretend you weren't trying to be funny. ::)

BTW, over 50 views and 3 replies to this whopping great success of a thread.  Pity bump. :-*

Thanks for the bump. Still needing advices! Perhaps one will give Joey Tito some help on leaving his parents house at 40 and that Arby's job in the dust?

Joey Tito seems like a very bitter person full of 13 year old angst. He should try working out like me.  :D

CFO?  So what kind of licensing/education do you have?  What kind of profits did you pull in for the 3rd quarter last year.  What kind of return is your stock currently giving?  Being CFO you should be able to answer these in seconds

What, are you refreshing the page every ten seconds, frantically checking to see if anyone replies to your pathetic attempt at being funny?  You should disappear for a few months and come back under another gimmick--you know, one that's actually funny.  You wanted advice (or "advices" as you call it), so there it is. :-*

Also, being CFO he would be a very educated person.  Someone that would not use grammar like advices

You seem very angry. Calm down and take a valium. It will all be alright. It's almost 3 pm, time for your local Jack in the Box shift. I heard Linkin Park is all the rage these days!

Perhaps you should stop investing so much time into a gimmick account and take up a new hobby. Knitting maybe?

Try learning from it. I'm sure you still understand what I said, even with your GED.

Time to wrap it up for a day. Can't wait to hop in the Enzo for the ride home! Have fun in your '84 Pinto!

I thought you were the CFO?  well if that is the case you would work in NYC at the corporate headquarters not on the west coast

Naw, 'taint' is just another gimmick account who crashed and burned before even reaching 30 posts.  It's really pretty sad and pathetic when you think about it.  This twit was probably plotting for months about 'his' bursting on the scene of Getbig, and look at the quivering mess he has turned into. :-\

You should take up punching your pillow instead of venting your feelings on the internet because I surely could care less as to whether I hurt your feelings or not.   :D

Brutal misuse of that apostrophe. Probably should have had your secretary check it.

Being the CFO for Goldman, you should have better time management skills than everyone here.  I find it hard to believe you would go to a gossip and opinions board for advice on how to manage your time.   But if you want it hear you go.  Buy a gun and do us all a favor

Mr. Viniar has been an Executive Vice President of Goldman Sachs and our Chief Financial Officer since May 1999. He has been the head of Operations, Technology, Finance and Services Division since December 2002. He was head of the Finance Division and co-head of Credit Risk Management and Advisory and Firmwide Risk from December 2001 to December 2002. Mr. Viniar was co-head of Operations, Finance and Resources from March 1999 to December 2001. He was Chief Financial Officer of The Goldman Sachs Group, L.P. from March 1999 to May 1999. From July 1998 until March 1999, he was Deputy Chief Financial Officer and from 1994 until July 1998, he was head of Finance, with responsibility for Controllers and Treasury. From 1992 to 1994, he was head of Treasury and prior to that was in the Structured Finance Department of Investment Banking. He also serves on the Board of Trustees of Union College.

If he was 24 (in 1999) when he got the CFO job that means he was just 17 when he was the head of the Treasury.  I other words he is the most successful Getbigger easily and the richest.  I am proud t have him here. ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::)

Notice how this clown 'Taint' has disappeared after being exposed as quite possibly the lamest gimmick in Getbig history.  This little twat won't be showing his face in these parts again.

I kind of suspected 'Taint' was Nicky Hersh.  Same writing style, same bitchy posts, same cowardice in running for the hills when 'he' gets exposed. ;D

Not when you're planning on staying up until 4-5 am and taking a 5-10 minute break in between studying.

Can't say that I'm surprised that you don't comprehend that. Most landscaping positions require the ability to walk and start a weed whacker let alone a fourth grade education.

Doesn't that seem just a wee bit obsessive to you? ::)

About as obsessive as you bumping that other thread with what is no doubt some lame response, or the 4-5 threads you've started about me today? Yup, your grasp of reality rivals that of someone addicted to LSD. Thanks for the wake up, though. Was starting to doze off. :D

By the way, have you honestly logged off today? You keep avoiding the fact you've been posting non-stop for almost 14 hours now.
