Look great man. A young frank zane perhaps. You have great symmetry and proportion something rare these days
-
How did you rip that? lol
-
Looking ripped man; good to see you wore some decent looking posing trunks instead of a thong.

hey you've been an incredibly irritating asswipe troll on the boards....but all bullshit aside
you did good did a show got in decent shape and stepped on stage.
that deserves respect even though i don't like what you portrayed on the boards as a troll but seems you have learned a lot competing and stopped that "eat anything I want, it's too easy" bullshit Adonis hypnotized you with.
-
Awesome conditioning. :o
-
looks like you bulked up to 118 for this show
-
How much did you weigh?
Hahahah i weighed in at 146 lol. I peaked the week before. The first week of school and work killed me.

No crap i was the smallest guy there. I felt out of place and almost left the show and didn't do it. Anyone who says 170 lbs on a 6'0 frame isn't big doesn't know anything. These guys were huge and ripped although i felt i was one of the leaner guys at the show. My tan doesn't show it though. I kind of accepted my placing until i saw the prejudging pictures. I was always under the impression that leaness won the light weight class. I will spend all this year trying to get up into the upper middle weight division.

invest in better color next time... if you were a few shades darker yourthin skin would have shown a lot more

Yeah, i didn't know any better and they wouldn't let me use my dream tan so i was kind of SOL.

Good showing, PM Ron for your stars.

STFU...
You looked awesome.
Don't let it get to your head, but you did really look amazing.
Like a natural (and junior) version of I-one in his heyday, if you know what I mean.
-
Yeah, i didn't know any better and they wouldn't let me use my dream tan so i was kind of SOL.
why didn't they let you use the dream tan ???
-
you look phenominal,,especially for yoru age
this is again great potential right here on getbig
bravo
-
you looked damn good Leafy, good job man.
-
Shredded!
I am proud of you. Great job Leafy. :-*
-
Leafy looked great. He posed well, held his poses and was in great condition. He was in better condition than the other guy in his class but the other guy had more mass. A darker tan may have helped show the conditioning but definitely showed promise in his physique. Great job and keep doing what you're doing.

Nice work leafy!
-
Outstanding showing, very 'iron-ageish' physique.
-
Yea, Leaf, I gotta agree. Stick with it. You have great potential. Pack on the bodyweight over the next couple of years and you'll be getting national coverage.
Why no Dreamtan? Was a competitor sponsoring he show?
Good going!

he looks fantastic even without it, BTW am i the only one who thinks Leafy looks like James Van Der Beek from Varsity Blues?

Supposedly it smears horribly but i dabbed a little on and it actually looked 20 times better then the protan i was forced to use. I think the dream tan looks better for people with blonde hair because it has tints of red in it. I didn't have any problem with smearing with the little ammount i used.

dont know about that one but he has a very good chance to end up looking like frank zane,,and frank zane = pro card even among todays competitors,,need more time in the gym and constant use of hormones,,try avoid gh and insulin

Thx for taking such good picture Isaac. I just want to thank all the people who helped me with my diet and contest prep. Rip for being my cheerleader :), Layne Norton for helping me ball park my calories, and Jeff Rodriguez for basically upping my standards of how lean a bodybuilder should be. I probably would have never dropped that low if it wasn't for his showing at the Team Universe and i want to thank him for his emails. I also want to thank my friends who helped me with my prep here at home and helped me apply my tanner. I'd also like to thank Adonis for completly transforming my life for the better and pulling me out of my perma bulker stage. Couldn't have done it with out yall.

amazing how that works. you drop the "adonis principles" BS and you show up at your show both bigger and leaner than he's ever been. ;D
seriously dude, EXCELLENT showing, and great posing while you were at it. hell of a lot of potential. now it's time to put on some size. you know you can get diced, so it's high time you pack on some extra muscle for next time.
-
it's awesome that you have learned this early... there is nothing like a LEAN bber.... too many guys get on stage 8 weeks out
-

What kind of stack do you think he used for this show? LOL :D ;D
-
Thx to Mr Cortisol for feeding liquor to my girlfriend then banging her like a screen door for those 12 weeks of precontest dieting in which I was useless to her.
She needed the company. I was a farting cranky bitch. And she obviously needed the dust knocked off that poon. I owe you brother!
Don't mention it.

I actually asked my nutrition teacher about the cardboad and vodka diet as long as you were getting your rda and he said in theory it is correct.

well that's because in order to get your RDA you're going to be ingesting a hell of a lot more than just cardboard and vodka, since those tend to be low fat, low protein, and low vitamin.
-
you looked great leafy :D
good job, you can be proud !

props to you for getting on stage!

Sugar free chewing gum.... naturally as i got closer to the show it got worse so i started upping my calories in the forms of meat so i wouldn't hold water and it wouldn't mess with my head into thinking i was holding fat. I would also look at calories in the course of a week as opposed to daily so if i over ate one day id just eat less another. The only problem with low calories really is the lack of sleep you get on them. The final week of the show i probably had 8 hours of sleep total for the week.

Awesome! You definitely have potential.

I think The Truf Hurtz could take you...just give him a few years. ;D

8 hours for the whole week? are you embellishing a little , if not thats fuckin wild . i notice if i try to keep getting leaner ill either wake up too early or cant get to sleep at night, your body is fighting to be awake because it wants food

i think you mentioned before you think squats are stupid or something along those lines.
if your upper legs were just a little thicker, you'd look much better.
either way, puts most of us to shame here, good job and good luck.

I'm deeply sorry if it's been answered before, but what was your contest weight? You looked fantastic and did something 99% of the people here wouldn't dare do, and not I'm not talking about stepping on stage, but getting that lean. It's kinda hard doing that, you know, I'm sure. ;)
I've adopted some of your's, shiftedshapes' and adonis' principles and I'm leaning out with no muscle loss, althought I've lost a little strength. I reckon I will be ripped at around 175 in due time. I still do make sure to get protein, but I also eat some junk, making sure to count calories.. I'm leaning out better than I did on any silly 8 meal, 400 g protein diet. Now I see what you, Bast and others were trying to preach.
Now to the main point.. Congrats! You looked awesome and you should be proud.
-

Ohh yeah man its BAD. The key is to keep your head full of exhausting thoughts. I learned the hard way that if i thought about the show or god forbid food i'd automatically be up an additional 5 hours from my current time. The worst was when school started and i had to ride my bike to school at 5:30 in the morning on 2 hours of sleep. Breakfast was always the best meal. I noticed that the more carbs i introduces into my diet the more i started craving food but if i stuck with just eggwhites, salmon, and broccolli i could tough it out even though i couldn't lift.
-

Hahahah that was the message i was trying to portray. Although as i got leaner i began to understand why those guys bought the smaller cuts but i only think you can pull that off if you are absolutly shredded. If you have striated glutes they will show though your trunks. The smaller cuts really are over the top in most cases.
-

I was 146.6 at weigh in and i ended up eating a whole pizza, a bowl of mashed potatoes, a bag of rice cake, a couple of bananas, a carton of ice cream, a box of oreos and some oatmeal cookies to try to fill out. I felt like 180 pounfd of crap in a 140 pound bag. I had trouble sucking in my stomach but i had a good 24+ hours for it to digest. The next morning i woke up and at some donuts, eggs, oatmeal, sausage, etc.... Don't listen to people who tell you you will ruin your condition. It is nonsense. I probably would have done better to carb up slower and over longer period of time next time. Also i wouldn't reccommend prepping for a show on donuts and cookies but thats just me. You can stay lean off of it in the off season and stay as low as 8% bf but when it comes to getting down to 2-3 you can't do it trust me. I mean it is possible but it is hard. You need something that will fill you up or your going to be on the ground holding your stomach and pulling hair out of your hair from hunger pains. It is all about playing tricks on your mind. Coffee with every meal helps along with soup and stuff like that.
