Great that Ron is making some money off advertising, he should, probably making 500 a month for that ad.

But the problem is this site is known for no bull and for hyper criticim so if an advertiser is bullshiting us they will get flamed here.

But that can work in Rons advantage because a good company will pay more to get on this site for the benefit of acceptance, credibility and approval.

will you be putting ads on the forum pages?   if not, the vast majority of getbig readers will never see it.

Ads on the forum... not sure I like that... I try and limit all forms of advertising, but the MAP goes well with all, and the hardcore look is cool... you will see.

It will let me have some fun, and finally work on those T-Shirts and other things...

As for the front page, more people go to that than anything else!

I find that surprising.  99% of your new content is in the forums, so that is where most of your traffic is.   while some people will go to getbig.com to then click on the forum, many others will have http://getbig.com/boards bookmarked and jump directly to it.

He should have grabbed for the dollars years ago when his site was the only game in town.  If he had, he'd be the "online supplement king" instead of some 20-year-old kid in Boise.

Legally Muscletech is still in Bankruptcy court and Iovate is one of their brands. A shell game against the massive lawsuits they had probably.

The fucking marketing tool who put that concept together is looking at the wrong demographics.

My point is they're still thinking they're targeting 19yo morons who want to be heeeu "hardcore" a la Animal Packs type of adds.

Dumber than Muscle Techs Anator ads with the body heat monitor shit... this is a fucking joke..

"hard core" supplements dont sell. one reason= "hardcore lifters" have their own SPECIAL line of supplements....lol.

muscletech does very good marketing to the general public; but they could do even better if they targeted the lazy fatties who hope and wish every day for the "miracle pill", or "fast acting powder" thats going to change their life and alter their sense of self confidence with one easy purchase.

that is where the money in the supplement industry comes from.

not th small cult following that consists of serious bodybuilders.
we are going to buy the cheapest, most stock, lock and barrell type of supplements out there.
if they want "our" business...cut the advertising budget into a tenth of its size, lower product manufacturing costs by throwing away your label design and marketing teams...throw out all the extra ingredients and catch slogans. sell in bulk, sell it for cheap, and sell the basics. a good exampl would be a 100% whey protein powder theat is just called "whey"..and sells for cheaper than anytother on the market. or a creatine monohydrate powder that is pure creatine that is just called "c.m.", and again is the cheapest on the market..

the prices are outrageous guys..
their protein container costs 44 dollars, which has 14 servings inside of it. and recommended daily use is two servings.
although it does seem to be a very good product...it has creatine, glutamine, luecine, cinnamon extract, a bunch of essential aminos, and like 40 grams of quality protein.

but 45 dollars for a week supply is outrageous.

Meaning they are all hype and no substance.

Be interesting to know how much MuscleTech spends to sponsor all the pros they have on their roster.  (And even more now that they've added these Muscle Asylum pros.)

It's no wonder MuscleTech supps are so expensive.
