The ocean during the mid-morning was beautiful......
Even though the sand was hot, I still wanted that nice sting..........you don't get that in Phoenix.
Our sand is scorching hot and there's no beach, no pale women, no open aired clubs.

I didn't take any cameras with us to the clubs..........a bit too cheesy and I was more interested in taking in the scene......not pics at that point.
We talked to some women, but none I was really interested in, though Toxie did manage to hook up with a MILF who owned a beachhouse.
That was our last night there.....
Nothing against MILFs, but I wasn't looking to hook up.
There weren't really that many of the type of women I go for.

On a seperate note, I can never get over the ocean in some other places. Here, sitting in the Caribbean Sea our waters are crystal clear, and tend to be a truer blueish/turquoise color without the brown undertones......basicall y look so different. Interesting how the waters are conjoined, but appear vastly different.

Not trying to flame here, genuine cultural question....As you all know I am from a beach ridden place and here grown men do not go to the beach together too much w/o say kids or girlfriends, unless they are homosexual or young teens of course. I don't even see the foreign tourists do it here either. Is it normal in the USA for grown men to go beaching together alone, taking pictures of each other etc?

Here I just notice that most men, and like I said the male tourists of which we get millions per year literally, do not attend the beach together.without feminine or child company too much. These men are mostly American tourists actually I refer to. Bear in mind my spa that I owned for a decade overlooked a beach so I spent many years seeing people on a beach every day and I can also see a beach from the balcony of my home that I own....so it's not like I am not familiar with beach goers demographics.
And again, I praise my God everday that I do NOT live in a culture where racism is so prevalent as in others. What my race, which I am 100% proud of, has to do with a post I made on a bodybuilding board I don't know.

Two batchelors going to the beach ain't odd. Many guys go to Brazil without wives or family (of course that is self explanatory). Also to places like Maimi, Ft. Lauderdale, Daytona Beach, especially during Bike Week down there or at Myrtle Beach.
Now the Caribbean is more family oriented, unless you are going Hedo (which is truly over-rated). The islands are where one would take there family or wife (for that fantasy get away.)

I think it's the norm in conformist culture to assume that a grown man has to go to the beach on with another woman, or his children. I assume you think the same for movies? Actually, going to a movie with a male friend would allow for a man to follow the plot better, while going with a woman would mean going for reasons unrelated to the movie. ;)

LOL......see people have not read me right. I for one see nothing wrong with anything, that does not hurt another human.
I merely asked was it normal, not the beach...the whole scene:
2 grown men meet online, 2 grown men who tend to live in the womens section of a forum, they arrange a vacation together, they go to the beach with each other, photograph each other on the beach, photograph their new friend "Joseph" and post they should have gotten more pics of Joseph, and one guy also shaves the other guys back.........
I simply found that different. I am used to say male and female meeting online and beaching together, guys takin pics of their girls/kids on the beach, guys going on vacation together and maybe trying to pick up ladies, guys taking pics of ladies on vacation not other guys etc.
And again, nothing wrong with that at all.......but of all people on this board I am probably most familiar with vacation norms, as I have spent my life in a domain dedicated entirely to vacations, so I merely asked.
And as for Tox's post on the last page and others, naturally I am above that low mud slinging, maybe it's just my culture, but where I come from men don't hurl profanity and slurs at women and women don't respond in kind......so I'll stick to my personal values. And yeah...like ppl said Tox is cool when not drinking...so hopefully he'll sober up and show his better side.

Cool thanks, thought I was missing something. My english is technically sound [imo] but general 'slang' and phrases I still get lost on occasionally....
Also, Al, note I have never been 'into it' with him before. Div never claimed to look like a bodybuilder, in fact I believe he had stated that he did not have such a physique. You don't have to be a "bodybuilder" or "take" steriods to know about them and what they do. You just have to have a love for the science what they are and a valid interest in what they do.
