-
nice im looking forward to see the movie
-
Damn looks awesome. 60 years old and still can pull off one of the most bad ass roles in movie history. I'll be there opening day. 8)
-
that trailer was Bluto approved.
-
clips are so quick you can't se how bad it (he) looks !
-
Looks awesome - a no-bullshit, no-CGI, no fancy story necessary gorefest. Take your kids!
-
Don't push it.
Don't push it, or l'll give you a war you won't believe.
Let it go.
Let it go.

Look's like Sly needed an ego massage and some more $$$$$$$$$$. Not going to waste my time with this one. Sly is way too old to be playing the invincable hero role. Just not believable no matter how much juice he jacked himself up on. He looks really bloated and, terrible.
This movie seems to have a much darker side to it then the others in the past, just like the darker feeling from Balboa, that was a stinker as well.
The whole thing that was great about the ROCKY movies was how they energized you and, really made you root for him to win. This was totally lost in Balboa.
Sly was a great action star in his hey day. He needs to find a new genre'. This one was beat too death.
-
Say what you will about Stallone, but Rambo the character, is fuggin awesome. A real killing machine. Everyone my age or older will probably go and see this. Just seeing the trailer takes me back to when I was a 12 year old kid. Good times. 8)

True Rocky Balboa wasn't the best of the series. But it was a much better movie than Rocky 5. Rocky 5 sucked hardcore. RB was a better way to end the series.

He seems angry in those scenes. Why is he so mad?

Stallone is out-of-touch. We live an era that is free from ideology, an era where it makes no sense to die or fight for anything. Technology is evolved; people live their lives through the internet. The only things that people still do in physical form are supplying their bodies animal needs: food, sex and sleep. This is not the 1980s, when there was still ideology and when people still actually socialized physically; this is an era when movies like "Rambo", with their explosive ideological violence, don't make any more sense. Why should anyone pay $10 to see a film of guys shooting each other when you can have 10 times more fun playing a video game or watching a game on your plasma TV? The only films that people still regard as being worth seeing in our internet era are films like "300" and "revnge Of The Sith", films that cost hundreds of millions of dollars and transport you tom completely imaginary worlds. 40 or 50 years from now, even these films will be regarded as pathetic, because by then there will be computers capable of creating an artificial world for yourself where you can interact directly by having electrodes implanted into your brain. That will be the end not only of cinema, but also of normal social life, because who will want to live a normal boring like if you can live an artificial life where you're king of the World and band a different Victoria's Secret underwear model every night?

I dont agree that Rambo sucks but I do agree in 50 years it will be like he says, there wont be any need for actors as you can computer generate your actors for fuckall cost, no need for sets etc, and the Lawnmower man type virtual world will be superb :)

Ha ha ha ha..hilarious, an imbecile with an 85 I.Q has just diagnosed me as autistic. ::) I wonder if the diagnostic stems from the fact that I have owned him ad nauseum in several threads. From a psychoanalitical point of view, it makes perfect sense to try to shoot me down for having scarred his fragile ego. :-*

that guy in the pics always plays the psycho roles well. wish he could have opened up some bellys with a motorsaw in cobra and vomited into the gaping wound and then sewn up the bodies again.

Talk about somebody you'd want at your dinner party to strike up an interesting conversation with, eh? What's even better is that anytime he calls Cobra a "pig" he puts so much emphasis on the word that spits whenever he says it. And hey ladies, I'm pretty sure he's single. The Night Stalker enjoys quality conversation, long walks on the beach, and sharpening his knife.
-
there should've been three-four sequels to cobra imo
>:(

sly talked about wanting to do more cobra movies (from interviews in late 80s)..but it never materialized.

all the scenes with that guy always made me laugh, they should put him in a "saw like" movie and let him do some bizarre things to a human body (bodies).

Agreed accept that one forgot name where norris is a sheriff and a scientist brings a killer back after injecting him with a serum, the guys injuries heal at milli sec, killer was real ugly to boot, end norris kicks him down a well.

that will be one badass movie if if the MPAA doesn't club it to death..
also for the fans of the predator and alien movies....they're supposed to be coming out wiht a new AVP this christmas that's RATED R for once. I asked for my money back when AVP was rated pg13 last time. The trailer looks sick as hell!!!

The 80's where a great time. The action genre' was at it's peak. I remember back in high school you could always look foward to going to a great action kick assed explosions, one-liners-movie. The great part about it is you had several action stars doing them. You had Sly, Schwarzenegger, Norris, ...............Ralph Machio........oooooooppp ps just kidding!!! HAHAhaha. Mel gibson's Leathal Weapon series kicked ass too.
Let's not forget Clint Eastwood and while on his way out of the action genre' he put up some pretty good movies in the 80's. You could always count on ol' Clint to put some bad guy on his back bleeding and then make some great rhetorical comment about it while walking away. Rutger Hauer was a good bad guy, check out Stallone's "NightHawks". We also had some good action TV shows.....this shit was everywhere. The A-Team, Magnum P.I, The Fall Guy, etc, etc.
I have near all of the good action movies from the 80's on dvd. I watch them every so often.
