Title: Green vegetables. advice please.
Post by: candidizzle on September 25, 2007, 06:57:25 AM
I was told that when dieting, green vegetables are a "free food". that you could eat as much of them as you wanted and they would not inhibit your fat loss progress. so...for example...could i walk around eating a bunch of broccoli al day and expect to lose just as much weight as if i hadnt eaten a bunch of broccoli?

I heard brocolli is a negative calorie food. It takes more calories to burn it than the brocolli has within itself....which means you burn more calories ;)

Just make sure you get the Baby Brocolli Florets, not the regular ones.  the baby florets are slightly more expensive but much easier to eat.
