hahahha, no seriously, what do you guys eat for breakfast or before hitting the gym?

My breakfast is pretty much the same everyday....couple scoops of protein in some skim milk on the drive to work.....I don't need to eat much.

don't hit the gym in the morning.
but breakfast is
10 egg whites + 1 cup oatmeal + 1 fruit (banana)
i mix all together and throw in the microwave.
or u can make pancakes from it.
pretty good for "clean" food.
pre-training is usually shake (2 scoops in water) + 50g fast carbs and this is around 4pm

Protein shake consisting of
1 C of coffee
1/2 C of Skim Milk
1 banana
1 scoop of natural PB
2 scoops of WHey Protein

nah i have that around 9:30-10:00 am and hit the gym around 11 or 11:30.

After reading some of these psts it seems I eat like a bird. I never eat the same thing but it goes something like...
A bowl of oatmeal or cereal (cocoa pebbles or cookie crisp ;D)... a banana and some milk. And about 24 ounces of coffee.
Maybe not even that much sometimes. 10 eggs whites is too much work. I can't stand real bodybuilding diets.
I actually had a half pound hamburger I cooked up for breakfast this morning. It was the best hamburger ever

Why dont you have a very high carb breakfast to load glycogen, then make your preworkout meal a high fat/protein easily digestable meal/shake, so you dont fuck with blood sugar levels.... and tell me how your workout goes ;)

I had 4eggs (2 yolks) with a couple of slices of BH ham on whole wheat.
High in protein, med fat and carbs.

i usually eat 2 filet mignons (4 ounces each prepackaged)...with some fruit..
That usually holds me until lunch...

What is eaten depends on what is going to get done. . .
if training within the next 1.5 hours I will have 50 grams of complex carbs along with protein and fats (oatmeal + shake with Flax or olive oil)
if not training, all fat and protein (6 egg omelet with some salsa and olive oil)

it depends on what im going for. right now i am doing a ketogenic diet so i had 5 whole eggs cooked in a bunch of cayenne pepper, then covered in tapatio hot sauce. took my "airborne" immunity supplement, a mutli vtamiin, b complex vitamin, green tea extract, an energy vitamin(ginsing and someother shit) and a coupple efa's... dranken a bunch of diet green tea and diet rootbeer today while i have been doing my mid term..9its a "take home" mid term...how fucking awesome is that??!!??)

the bodybuilding diet for me is really easy, because my favorite foods are steak, chicken, eggs, and nuts..i LOVE pistachios, raw almonds, cashews, and brazil nuts..
what sucks is that i love oatmeal too; but i cant eat it because of my metabolism..cant handle carbs.. when i am "bulking" i get one pack, maybe two, a day..but that is hardly any, and its at the expense of fatty nuts and whole egg...

do any of you guys (this is for you who have time in the morning) make oven baked omelettes?
it's not a basic scrambled egg omelette, you bake the eggs instead of pan baking them, but the volume (i kid you not) incrases three fold. i know it's all air and the amount is the same, but good luck eating a 3 egg omelette.
give it a try someday when you have time. you can look up the prep methods online, just take out the ingredients or add some depending on your needs.

Roughly ( as it ALWAYS changes ... why Eat the same thing everyday ? ) a 6 Egg Omelette filled with Mushrooms, Lean Turkey, Green Peppers, Onions, and Cheese ( preferably Vermont White Sharp Cheddar ;) ) ... usually after that is finished I eat 1 to 1.5 Cups of Oatmeal. Again, I don't Eat the same thing everyday ... sometimes a Bowl of Oats with a Protein Shake is good enough for me ... the only time I EVER have Fruit is right before my Workout.

A spicey egg burrito for breakfast. Scarmbled eggs with red pepper, basil and oregano, topped with melted american cheese and wrapped in a whole wheat tortilla. Gulp it down with some OJ.

when training "hardcore": 10 whole eggs, 8oz of flank steak & veggies.
when training like a pussy: 1cp oatmeal, chia seeds, bio sprouts, banana, blue berries and oat bran all mixed together along with a slice of whole wheat toast smothered with macademia butter.

Monday - Friday are usually pretty light. Two multigrain English Muffins topped with Coconut Oil (instead of butter) & Yogurt.
Saturdays & Sundays I usually pig out at breakfast. Pancakes or maybe a mix of hash browns, cheese, & eggs (sometimes a little pepper &/or onion if I've got them handy).

Today was 2 slices toast (white) w/ butter & rasberry jam, pancake (1 egg, buttermilk, 3 tbsp self raising flour, 1 tsp melted butter, salt, 1 tsp sugar) with maple syrup, 4 eggs scrambled, 1 large linconshire sausage, 400 ml whole milk, 1 litre water.

I normally have this...
2 whole eggs
4 egg whites
1 slice low fat cheese
1 wholemeal muffin
Make it all into like a big muffin sized omlette, ya can buy these ring things that you put into the frying pan and just crack them into it and it cooks into a smaller round shape, throw the cheese on once it is nearly done and then have it in the muffin. Tastes great too ;D.

500ml of milk blended with
30g of unflavoured casein protein
30g of powdered chocolate milk flavouring which probably has lots of sugar in it.
Maybe add a bit of olive oil and fish oil.
Tastes fucking awesome.

If I have time - 3 eggs, 3 egg whites, small bowl of oatmeal, small orange / 2-3 pieces of melon
on the weekends I go the omlette route. There is usually chicken, steak or salmon (we eat a lot of it here in the NW) that I mix into the omlette...good stuff bro.

Yeah...it's usually a mix of leftovers (I love leftovers) and any type of veggies I can chop and add (usually mushrooms, onions, green onions, spinach ect..) topped with a choco protein shake with 2 shots of espresso in it...it mimics the mocha...without the guilt.
I've created some really tasty omlettes when forced to be creative...guess it's a talent you pick up when you grow up poor lol!!! (kinda like eating cereal as a kid with a fork so you could save what's left of the milk for later)
