Awww looks like I struck a nerve by showing a fair comparison of DJ and Huge Nasser? :'(
About him not being in his prime - he placed 7th that year, it was not common for him to place higher than that. And I think everyone would agree that 2001 was past Nasser's prime.

Are you the type who only wears a plain, boring black suit and looks like 90% of other guys in formal wear? At work I'll wear a black suit but no more than ocne a week, and never black to a wedding or a party.

Honestly.. Not just plain black..Pinstipe, solid blues.. I jazz it up with the shirts and ties.. Bright loud colored jackets have never really been my thing.. But.. I don't wear suits on the weekdays... Maybe a couple times a month on weekends (when going out to dinner with the wife and kids).. I purchase my suits ..Have them tailored perfectly.. When purchasing dress shirts..I always get measured right there.. All shirts are cut different(just like suits... )
It's all in the fit.... I make sure the suit fits well..The color is flattering to my tone.. I don't buy 5 suits in all different colors ..I buy what look's good on me..That's style my friend...I buy what's right for me.. Maybe that suit you purchased will be for a night club...But not to go to work..It just doesn't seem appropriate..

ronnie took the mantle from ferrigno and buried him with it. that particular pose, to this day, is currently owned by ronnie coleman.
what's sad is that the current mr o's most muscular is the worst in bodybuilding history.
so much for progression. jay looks like mr ohio in the deep fried chicken off season. :-[

problem with levrone is he never again attained the condition he had in his 92 presentation.
seem to lose his desire after that or he became distracted by other interests. in any case, he didn't seem to understand that a couple of months dieting, training and supplementing is not going to cut it when going up against the best.
seems some on here are easily impressed by size and vascularity but it's all in the detail baby. take a closer look and you'll see that kev got his but handed to him every time.
all i can say is, thank christ we once had judges that knew what they were looking for because now they can only see dollar signs and jay's briefs.

I dont know why everyone craps on about Levrone, he was good early in his career but then lost the plot, most overrated pro in history I think. In his most muscular his arms and delts were too big for his chest and traps, he looks all out of whack while doing the MM, it is not a good pose for him, it shows his lack of balance.

Nasser was being a gentleman and did not want to complain about judging as he felt it would hinder his future placings if he did. I can understand some people preferring Flex over Nasser because of his back detail or his round muscle bellies...but when comparing the MM pose...he doesn't come close to Nasser. Flex's MM pose has nowhere near Nasser's width and thickness.

The problem with Shawn Ray for me aside from height and narrow shoulders was always a lack of density & dryness. Put him beside Wheeler and Ray's lack of deep cuts and dryness is striking.
