Noiw...I will not mention the pro whom this involves...you can figure that out for yourself.
Years ago, when Arnie lived in one of those Santa Monica apts. where the stairs whgere on the outside of the building, said bb champion was walking across the parking lot, approaching Arnold's apt.
As he was approaching (he is jewish) Arnold thought it humorous to play on a loudspeaker, into the parking lot, one of the "heil Hitler) (Forgive my spelling) songs, which greatly offended the jewish champion.
Well, our jewish behemoth slowly bascended the stairs, wlked into A';s house, slowly approached the radio, and ceremoniously clicked off the song.
He looked at Arnold, ever so evenly, and said:
"Look, Arnold. When I played football, I used to go against a guy named Ernie Ladd. He was 6'8" tall, and I would knock him on his ass, every play.
"Don't EVER play that shit around me again (he nmay not have said the word 'shit')-you get my drift.
And that was that.
Many of you know that with Arnold , he tests you to see if he will respect you.
If you grovel, he will not r5espect you. If you stand up to him, he checks himself.
Anyone who has been aroiund for any length of time knows stories like these are true (Like Joelocal et al).

PS: When I return from my parent's houyse, I have an even better story told to me aboiut Arnold and Franco, straight from Frank Zane.

He said lots of shit to everyone - racist stuff to RR, small man jokes to Colombu. The guy is Mike Katz in this one.
He certainly didn't have a problem working with the Jew Weider.

-What is a "heil Hitler" song? Was it the anthem of the 3rd Reich? Must be something that their generation would recognize while mine probably wouldn't.
- Why did Arnold have a recording of it? Spooky. All this "Arnold likes to test you" stuff is fine, but why did he have a copy of some anti-semitic song? Hard to believe he would carry it around just to goodnaturedly "test" Jewish people.
- If Arnold was such a prick, why was Katz at his apartment? Half the time the guys from the 70s seem like best buds, half the time bitter enemies.

One funny thing about big Mike is that whenever I lunch with him, he still orders chicken and dry potato...even though 63 and not training terribly hard anymore(two wrist and two shoulder surgeries will do that).

If its in fact a guenuine document,Arnold hired many researchers and historians to look in his father past with no proof of him being a Nazi, so i take that membership card with a grain of salt.

As an ex soldier of the Black Watch who hated the Hun I asked him about his father's association with the Nazis. Yes if you were a civilian you had to volunteer to become a Nazi but if you were a soldier or Police Officer you were drafted by default or else you faced prision or worse. Herr Scwartzenegger was a Police Chief in Austria in 1939 therefore he joined automatically by default. You and I would have done the same thing because Hitler was the ultimate motivational speaker. They really believed they would rule the world but then again they hadn't counted on the Americans or the attitude of the Black Watch of Scotland. Scotland has never been conquered, not by the Greeks, the Romans (Hadrian's Wall was built to keep us out of Roman controlled England) or the English and we sure as hell weren't going to let a little Austrian chump break the habit. If the Stormtroopers had entered Scotland they would have been mutilated and dumped in salt before they could say Hiel Hitler. We don't fuck around in Scotland as the Terrorists at Glasgow Airport found out this June. "This is Scotland we'll set about you" said a baggage handler right after booting the fuck out of a would be terrorist.

He grabbed him, smashed him against the wall with pots and pans flying, and said, "If you or any of your relatives ever make fun of me or my family again...I will end you."
