What do you think is most effective?

Are you asking in terms of gear usage? Such as when you take breaks time off, etc?

I am asking this is it standard to go straight from bulking into cutting or do you guys think that pros and top competitors go bulking then clear and do their cutting later ie.... deca make the switch to eq enanthate make the switch to prop

OK, I get what you're saying now.
As for the pro's I think it's a little of both. Obviously the guys who compete multiple times per year go straight from bulking to cutting without "clearing out."
For myself...I'll bulk and go right into a diet...I might take a wk off from training in between just to get ready for a hard diet but that's about it. If I'm going to "clear out" then I'm usually sitting on my ass not doing much of anything...maybe a little brief light training and cardio simply for sanity and health reasons but that's about it.
As for the drugs, yeah, I'll simply switch them up if bulking and dieting end up meeting together.

Let the longer esters clear out. For example, give test e about 2 weeks to get the level down in your system before you start taking the test prop. Use those 2 weeks to get into cardio if you aren't used to it already. If you start anything immediately it might be tren ace. Stuff it great for leaning out in my brief experience...combined with cardio and lower carbs.

I dont think I would start dieting right away reason being the loss of muscle when being off I would wait until prep for the contest begins.

i always ran 1 long cycle...12 weeks bulking and right into 12 weeks of cutting. after the show i would stay on test prop only for about 4 weeks and then run PCT.
i think taking a break is self-defeating.

wow Ill bet your really shrunk up man.... Taking a break is for sure needed its the only way your receptors can clear so that you can take more in, However the break should come after pct in the show I think that is very long though 24 weeks..... but it makes sense as anything less would not get you bulked enough or cut enough

I think you misunderstood me...
i meant do not take a break between bulking and cutting...i always took 20 weeks off after the show, but i only competed once a year.
so...
12 weeks bulk
12 weeks cut
show
4 weeks test p only
pct
clean for 20 weeks minimum
just my experience from many years...

i dont realy go in for the cleaning the receptors out theory,,, you get to your maximum size and thats it... no matter if your receptors are fresh or not your not gettn past that unless your fuckn around with other things.. ive yet to see anyone shrink due to staying on and there receptors downgrading,,, seen plenty come off for health reasons and loose alot of what theyve paid and worked hard for.....

Never said you should stay on year round...all I'm saying is that receptors don't shut down or stop taking in the gear like many people believe. It's just one of those things someone made up with a long time ago. My theory, someone somewhere was on cycle, gains stopped or gains were minimal and they blamed it on receptors being burned out. Truth be told, what more then likely happened was one of the following or a combo of all...training and diet sucked, gear was fake, guy was an idiot.

im not advising anyone to stay on year round,, but your kiddin your self if your thinkin your receptors are full and need cleaned out and that youl look and get better results the next time your on...
what will happen is ,youl spend most your next cycle regaining what youve lost, then you slowly get back to where you were in the 1st place, then soon as you start making gains its been 20 odd weeks... time to rest those receptors again?

Yeah you really are right. If your goal is to get big and lean and stay that way and keep getting bigger after a long cycle, you just need to make it a longer cycle.
No two ways about it. ON steroids=getting bigger and stronger, stopping steroids=getting smaller and weaker.

Well thats funny I have been off for two months now and haven't lost any weight infact gained a couple pounds and strength hasn't gone down either guess it just comes down to who is dedicated.

if thats the case why go back on?... i do think as long as you dont get injured or have any interuptions to brake your momentum you can stay looking quite good to a point,, ive never yet had 6month without somthing cropping up tho.

Rest time is not about constantly improving nobody can do that its just maintenance until its time to wage war again and my time and the USA are coming up soon.....

now i know guys who are huge that cycle properly but i also know that the biggest bodybuilders I've ever seen do not come off, at all.

Actually I have never bridged with any peptide unless you count the slin I have to take the simple fact is I cant afford to be on constantly

I'd love to, but I doubt I'll touch anything until late 30s for HRT, if anything. I'm healthy and I have a new son and I am doing everything I can to stay healthy. Stopping caffeine, soda, watching fats... really trying to do clean living.
I think about it every day tho lol...

I have the same mind set as you right now. I live in tampa, FL area so have HRT clinics everywhere. I'm 24 but I called a few up this week to see if I could sneak into a program. He said I'm too young. However the guy I called was cool as hell and we were talking about different things, and he said for someone under 30 he said anavar from the black market would probably be the best thing. Of course he said he's wasn't recomending anavar just saying hypothecticly that's the safest thing.
