Is Ronnie Coleman over the hill?  Is he ready for the nursing home? Or is this just natural aging?

the guy is retired for gods sake...we are tired of seeying actual competitive bodybuilders guest pose in conditions a lot worse than this...

for me he looks great. and in a great news, he was in a lot of TV shows this weekend here in Brazil

often due to:
muscle tears and/or nerve damage.

Funny that this reality didn't occur to most. Exactly what is a guy in his mid-40s supposed to look like who's on far less if any hormones now and not seriously competing duh.

Yup, still looks better than anyone here including the clueless author of this thread lol he was over the hill in BB terms 2 years ago, hello?

Don't worry, you'll never get to the kind of weights that caused those injuries and atrophy lol

The guy has had a surprisingly long career, with a long run at the top. His body resisted the continuous "drugs/over-eating/hard training" regime better than most. Its only logical that at one point it would give up in some way or another.

lol even now the arms are so much bigger than those of the dweebs criticizing them. They don't get just how big he still is and are easily mislead by a few pics at different angles.

The weight gain was to be expected, he always did that. He has a lot farther to go before getting back to anything resembling smaller dimensions.

Ronnie looks great for a 43 year old ex pro. Left arm is still 19/20" easy. He should enjoy his retirement but is still top 10 Olympia material IF he wanted to be.

He just turned 44 last month.  I think Ronnie looks very good....and would look great without the injuries and enlarged midsection.  Prior to 1996, his midsection was tapered.

the tricep shrinkage comes from degeneration of the discs in your neck they reduce in height, causing the adjoining vertabrae to compress the nerve somewhat, the result being a weakened muscle with atrophy. Disc degeneration anywhere in your back neck region effects muscle stimulation, if you cant stimulate it you cant grow it or maintain it. Getting old is a bitch im sure big rons used more anti aging hgh than all of us as well so whilst hgh might make you look younger, its not regenerating all parts of the body, who knows maybe without it Ronnie would have had the problem years ago.

I believe Chad outlined this a while back....He did not tore or shrink anything...just that his neuro muscular connections are not what they used to be.

He needs to get entirely off the juice for a while, give his body a break, shed a lot of weight and come down to a reasonable 220 pounds. And then, if his body allows him, maybe he can come back in decent shape (not competitive though). The man has been one of the greatest, if not the greatest, and he wasn't a one day wonder either. That has a cost. Time to come back amongst us, poor humans.
