Be careful which polls you read.
Also - nationwide polls don't mean much. Obama is leading in 5 states that Bush won. Mccain is leading in 1 state that Kerry won. Unless mccain can find a way to steal 4 states from Obama, he cannot technically win. State by state polls are how this election will be won. Right now, Obama leads 296 to 172 electoral votes, with 69 still undecided. Even if Mccain won ALL the close states, he'd still lose the overall by 50 electoral votes.
Mathematically, Mccain needs a miracle to win this.
BTW - FOX news polls exclude barr and nader, who consistetly take away 7% from mccain. Mccain drops from 44 to 38% when those two men are available options.

I will call it now, in 2 months time Obama will be 15 points ahead of McCain in the national polls. He just needs to spend more time in the base states like MI, OH, and PA. He did his thing over seas, now he has to come back home and seal the deal with Americans. As for oil, the "china and india" demand have nothing to do with it. most of the time during the year, the refineries are running at less than 80% capacity. the price of crude went up due to heavy inflow of cash into commodities due to the shitty performance of the general stock market. notice oil drops a ton every time a company puts out an earnings report that comes at least somewhat close to street estimates.
as for cramer, if you look him up on wikipedia, as goatboy stated, you'll see his many fuckups. also, he's never reported his earnings to the SEC because hedge funds are exempt from reporting earnings, so his "few million" for all we know is a "few negative million" as hedge funds tend to do.

As for oil, the "china and india" demand have nothing to do with it. most of the time during the year, the refineries are running at less than 80% capacity. the price of crude went up due to heavy inflow of cash into commodities due to the shitty performance of the general stock market. notice oil drops a ton every time a company puts out an earnings report that comes at least somewhat close to street estimates.
as for cramer, if you look him up on wikipedia, as goatboy stated, you'll see his many fuckups. also, he's never reported his earnings to the SEC because hedge funds are exempt from reporting earnings, so his "few million" for all we know is a "few negative million" as hedge funds tend to do.
