I just don't think there were very many people that weren't fans to some degree of this guy's work. The big stories in the news around it seem to be centering on the streams of heartfelt condolences being given by his peers including many notable A-listers. Bernie Mac shouldn't have died for two big reasons; 1) he was young (50) and 2) everybody loved him. I bet his works will instantly be viewed as classics now.

Yeah on the bright side I think his having died early may have just given his work the appreciation it deserves. It will be studied more closely now as a result. The whole time it's been playing I couldn't understand why Bernie Mac's sitcom didn't get more credit than what it did...although it's having made syndication did make sure that alot of people got to see it.

Thats way i believe Heith Ledger left us all at the prefect time...Yeah it sucks that someone who can entertain us the way he did will never be seen again but what a way to go out...

Bump for steroids. It seems for most of you on this board believe if one dies early steroids were the cause. Because no one can die early in life from anything else. Bernie must have been on roids. It's impossible to die young from anything else.

I'm not one who believes this...I have my suspicion that Bernie did not die from steroids but that DNP was the cause...I know he was really trying to drop weight for his next gig...All indications point to DNP being the cause for us to lose yet another funny man...

Isaac wrote soooo many great tunes for a lot of people. His melodies were much harder than the stuff Motown writers were putting out for their guys/girls at the time, and he made a great co-writer with David Porter to come up with some of the best soul music on earth.
R.I.P. Isaac. :(

I do not know why but his death really bothered me. He was a funny guy and seemed like a decent man offscreen/stage. Too young!
