Hilarious!

Everyone on here thinks that nutrition is THE most important thing.  Just wondering what an expert like you eats on a daily basis.  Food could be chicken breasts or rice or donuts and beer.

Drugs is only 2% of the equation for Bob and only used for finishing touches.Without them he would only lose 1-2% of his mass come competition time.

What did you eat today for example?

Why this is of interest is beyond me, but here you go:

breakfast: bowl of oatmeal, egg whites

mixed a few juices and a powered vit/min supp in with it before training

Bob Bowl at the Firehouse restaurant after training

Chicken/ white rice for dinner

probably have a snack before bed

Was the Bob Bowl named a/f you? And what does it consist of?

Will you have a steak and potato like Quaker Oats does for your late night snack?

Of course....

Two6 oz. steaks, white rice, peppers and onions

Ahhhhhhhh....no, more like a couple of rice cakes with PB...or some cashew nuts...

Bob, is this better much average for each day?

That doesn't look like a lot of protein, how many grams of protein are you taking in per day?

(just inquiring to compare to my own diet.)

Bob is too much of a coward to post that information.  But he doesn't hesitate to pimp supplements for bb.com that he KNOWS are useless and a waste of money.

I've been training for 30 YEARS...you don't need to move mountains to maintain at this point.

You've got to be kidding with that answer. To keep what you've got, you have to continue to work as hard as you did to get it in the first place. Physiques like yours are hardly natural and/or achieved or maintained on paltry diets. If you're going to be on this board and field questions, it'd be nice if you'd shoot straight instead of argumentative smoke and mirrors quick one liner put downs as usual.

bob seems too intelligent to be juicing right now as he has no intention to compete again.  chill out.  not to mention he really isnt as lean as he used to be.

Building it takes many years...maintaining a decent physique, while not competitive, is miles away from being in the mix at the Olympia.

The physique I maintain today, is not the same, nor does it require the same regamine, as when on the competitive circuit.

Chick, i know im not one to give advice, but it would be beneficial if you ate two big macs and walked ten miles a day...

Yes but as far as pure size and muscle it still takes calories to maintain or no?  I mean you sound like you eart barely 2000 cals a day.  You're what 270-280 at 6'2?

I suppose portion size would also be a factor. Bob has stated before that he doesn't eat as often in "Offseason" - as he doesn't do as much cardio etc. Bob looks fantastic in the recent videos so I suppose what he is doing obviously works for him!

very true, bobs been training for 30 years, and his body has been pretty lean for most of that time, so to maintain a good physique probably isnt that hard for him. So unlike the rest of us, Bob can get away with eating 3 x's a day and not having much protein like "we think he should "

no thats mistake all of you make and why most bb'er are fat bloated distended messes. I used to be 250-260 and compete at 215ish, I havent in 3 years and maintain 225ish lean and eat about 3 times a day and train 3 times a week(fairly intenst though)  I dont gain anything or lose anything, just kinda coast along. And i havent touched a drug in 3 years as well. Honestly i would have never known this info if it didnt happen by accident. I used to eat 10 meals a day, juice my ass off and looked worse half the time.  Just some food for thought

I have no clue how much protein I get on a daily basis...I would guess around  250-300g.

there's plenty of food in that diet, hardly "paltry", it makes me laugh how you clowns think you need 10,000 calories and 900 grams of protein to "recover" and build mass from a 11-12 set weight workout and a little cardio. ::)

Would you say 1g/lb of lean body weight is enough for maintanance / dieting down?

I think so too, see the Adonis Principles thread. But I'd like an expert opinion (based on experience).
