In light of everything going on right now in the US, where would you move to start over? China? India? The UAE? All of these places have thriving economies and are on the upswing. Where would you go?you'll just abandon your country cause times may be getting a little rough?

Everyone except native indians "jumped ship" to U.S. at one point or the other. Was that pathetic too? How does it feel to be related to someone who did something that pathetic?

I've heard the same about India..it's an actual free market democracy over there. I'm going to check into it.
Dubai & India may look good on the surface, but in addition to financial opportunities, you also have to consider things like culture and language barriers. if you can speak the respective language of the country you're considering emigrating to, it makes it much easier. As well too, there is the inevitable culture shock.
I'd say for most Americans wanting to get out, ...Canada is the logical choice,
...and they can still keep the channels programmed into their remote controls. :D
ps: This advice is for Democratic voters only. Republican supporters might want to consider Dubai. :D
