He's probably trying to get his balls working again after about 20 years of abusing steroids.

Maybe he was taking a step in the right direction for once? but i doubt it. ;D

don't be too sure,did 'nt someone say he was broke and fought to get money,those books sold but he probably got an advance and blew it.and yes being big pays for him ,i'm sure in miami he's paid for free drinks and food at clubs and gets some money too boost numbers at those clubs.its expensive place too party.

What article? i was going on what the original poster of the topic said. I don't see a link for it in the thread. And i really don't care enough to look it up and read about it

Post by: timfogarty on November 04, 2008, 12:08:08 PM: Nov 4th, 2008 | SAN DIEGO -- Jose Canseco has pleaded guilty in federal court to a misdemeanor offense of trying to bring a fertility drug across the border from Mexico.

The former baseball star was sentenced Tuesday to 12 months' unsupervised probation by U.S. Magistrate Judge Ruben B. Brooks.

Canseco told the judge he had gone to Tijuana looking for a substance to restore his testosterone levels in an attempt to reverse damage done by his admitted steroids use.

Canseco was detained at San Diego's San Ysidro border crossing last month after agents searched his vehicle and said they found human chorionic gonadotropin, which is illegal without a prescription.
