the title of the thread says HGH not HCG.  But i agree this is a waist of tax payers money.  And i doubt being big is all he has left.   I am sure he still has millions in the bank

don't be too sure,did 'nt someone say he was broke and fought to get money,those books sold but he probably got an advance and blew it.and yes being big pays for him ,i'm sure in miami he's paid for free drinks and food at clubs and gets some money too boost numbers at those clubs.its expensive place too party.

Jose Canseco sentenced in misdemeanor drug smuggling

Nov 4th, 2008 | SAN DIEGO -- Jose Canseco has pleaded guilty in federal court to a misdemeanor offense of trying to bring a fertility drug across the border from Mexico.

The former baseball star was sentenced Tuesday to 12 months' unsupervised probation by U.S. Magistrate Judge Ruben B. Brooks.

Canseco told the judge he had gone to Tijuana looking for a substance to restore his testosterone levels in an attempt to reverse damage done by his admitted steroids use.

Canseco was detained at San Diego's San Ysidro border crossing last month after agents searched his vehicle and said they found human chorionic gonadotropin, which is illegal without a prescription.
