Unless mcsame knows something we don't know, where does he get the balls to guarantee a win?. See thats what worries me, republicans know how to steal elections, ie rig voting machines etc. One thing is that the Obama campaign is doing is watching these things very closely, another thing mcsame said is that we will be up very late on Nov 4th. Kinda like how we were for the Gore election, almost like he's implying thats theres going to be a recount

You do realize that 1.) McCain is one vote, 2.) the Pres. doesn't vote on anything, 3.) Obama is completely in-line with the liberal nature of the Democratic run Congress that has a lower approval rating that Bush.

Ok.

i listed like 10 reasons in an old thread weeks ago so im not going to repeat myself. The main reason is that he wants to continue the war in Iraq, and that he voted to go to war in Iraq. And that he wants to give tax cuts to rich CEO's and oil companies. Hmmm kinda reminds me of George bush ::) Also his temperament is not suited for the white house, this guy was beaten for 5 years, you know this guys has some post partem depression going on inside that fucked up head of his. Also Keating 5 comes to mind, theres so many things i hate about that old bastard i could write a book about it. Lets face it u would rather have Romney then mcsame in there, but you stuck defending this old bastard, i feel sorry for mcsame supporters.

Instead of starting mongoloid threads with the lone purpose of calling McCain names perhaps you could attack and discuss his politics instead.
How about it?
Or is that too difficult? ::)
-

LOL.... post-partum depression in a guy... and Dubai is in India... ok, I see where we're going here...
wait a minute... where are we going here?? :-\

where does he get the balls to guarantee a win?.
How is this discussing the politics of McCain?

Matt knows that McCain doesn't support G4P so he won't be able to make much more money in Dubai,India.
Matt is the type of guy that no matter what will happen will go out to the streets, if Obama wins he will go out and scream how he is better than white people and burn cars.
If Obama lose he will go out to the street and yell racism and than burn cars.
Point is, get insurance for your car!

You do realize that if there were no tax breaks on oil companies (that Congress agrees on) that the cost just gets transferred onto the consumer in the way of higher prices.
Do you blame Clinton for the current economy mess? He started the deregulation of the housing market. I bet you blame Bush for the economy. Did you know he sought to reign in Fannie and Freddie?
Post partem depression? Did he want to kill his child after giving birth?

Mccain called Obama a socialist - even tho Mccain advocates handing 300 billion add'l funds out to save mortages, and Obama is against it.
Falsely calling Obama a socialist - when Mccain's plan includes about 300 billion examples of socialism - opens mccain up namecalling too.

Sigh... it was around the time in the last debate, when McCain mentioned his own plan to refinance the mortgages of dumb homeowners who knowingly bought more home than they could afford and are now looking for my tax dollars to bail them out... that's when I had to change the channel and run into the bathroom and vomit.
Still... like I've said before, McCain is the lesser of the two evils by far.

The whole Socialist argument is embarrasing and I hope McCain drops it.
There is nothing even slightly similar to Socialism in anything of what Obama is suggesting.
Socialism is something entirely different, a political ideology which would have the whole government disintegrate and all nations stop to exists, replaced by small communities, with no governing body.
That is real Socialism.
So for McCain to suggest that Obama's universal health care plan or tax plan is something akin to Socialism... just embarrassing.
One of the dialectic steps in the Socialist doctrine, according to Lenin and Stalin, includes nationalization of banks and such.
Something that McCain and Obama both supported.
So one could claim that both are Socialists.
But that is of course just bullshit.
Anyone would know that.
And it's just too bad that instead of discussing what he himself wants to do, McCain chooses to attack Obama.

Because McCain has been on the hill for over 30years while Obomination is still a Jr. Senator with no credentials and he has people running a fraud campaign for him. Hows that robot?

Both he and McCain strongly opposes the use of torture.
Obama has built his life from scratch, in essence both he and John McCain are personifying the American dream.
McCain in that he survived several years in a prison. Despite the physical and mental wounds managed to become a great representant for his party.
Obama in that he comes from small circumstances and a split family, and an outsider background, despite all this, he managed to get good grades and get into the best schools in the world.
They both made an incredible journey.
I think that's something to be be recognized.
What do you think?

He's a United States senator, you ass.

Name one thing No Bama has done for this country? Maybe you believe his slick Jivv talking bullshit.
Take a look at all the bullshit that surounds himand the people for the last 20 yrs he was surounded by.
And i'm going to trust someone like him to run the greatest country in the World? Fu..k NO
He's talking shit people want to hear that's all, it only goes to show there are stupid people in this country.
-
He's a United States senator, you ass.
Oh Wow he's was a senator for one year and now he thinks he can run the country, give me a break.
He's a scam just like ACORN and the rest of the great company he has kept for the last 20 years.
Did you know Obama woke up one morning and he was White from neck up, ya so he went to his Doctor to see why and the Doc. told him to drink this brown liquid, so he did. Damm Obama said that taste like
Bull Shit and the Doctor said you're right you were a quart low

He was one of many Senators and Congressmen who voted for the bailout.
Without that, the banking system would've likely had collapsed.
Wasn't a popular thing to do.
Still he did it.
That's one thing he's done for the USA.
-
Good for him Hedgie, so did McCain.

Wow that should go down in history for what he did, but i'm sure your joking i hope?
He's not stupid but many people really don't know enough about him and he's not applying for
a job at Burger King.
I heard a question ask to many people, question was are you voting for obama because he picked
Sara Palin for his Vice President? and their answer was YES. And most of them could't give a one answer
about what he has done. So these are the kind of people who are voting for him. SCARRY.
Most of them never even voted befre in thier life and don't know the first thing about politics.

I get scared by how many people will vote for Obama or McCain without having any clue as to what politics they're supporting.
How many of the Obama voters know his platform? What about McCain and not to mention his running mate Palin..
I think Obama put it best. He was asked what he thought about many white people not voting for him just because he's black.
He said that there were probably just as many black voters who voted for him because he's black.
In other words: lots of voters om both sides have absolutely no clue.
-
lol damn MCBUSH is even better i'll be using that one from now on :D
-

Look how well Obama has run his campaign vs mcbush. That alone should show you how he'll run the white house, he's also gained the respect of Powell and Buffet. What the hell else does Obama need to prove? hes done everything right, give the man the respect he deserves.

McBush lost alot of republicans respect when he picked that hore palin, and now its backfiring on him. Seriously he only picked her to energize the base, not based on her skills or experience ::). And when mcbush is asked why he picked her, his answer is " shes the most popular govnor in America" So basically he just picked her so hed get more votes so he could "try" to win, not because of what shes done. McBush is a sleesey ass lieing punk politician.

pssst Matt, "post partem depression" is what some women get after they give birth. It's caused by a sudden hormone shift in the body. I think you might have meant "post traumatic stress disorder". :-[ other than that... carry on.

1. Obama doesn't "run" his campaign. He doesn't know how to make decisions, he has people do it for him. He's never ran a state, city or business and failed his district in Illinois.
2. Powell is a social liberal and the most important reason why he's endorsed him in because he's BLACK.
3. Obama needs about 5-10 years of PROVING he can run the country. His voting record indicates he has no intention of crossing party lines for anything and has always voted on the left. So far he hasn't done ANYTHING for this country in anyway, shape or form.

I can tell you McCain cheating on his wife for a rich young woman, Charles keating, and getting caught in countless lies and thinking Sara Palin is the next most qualified person to run the country if he died in office shows why he doesnt deserve any respect.
-

Absolutley useless since Palin is about 100 x's more quaified than Obama, McCain was fully exhonerated in the Keating BS and even though it wasn't right, it was over 20 years ago which in nothing compared to what Clinton did while he was still President. Obama is admitted drug addict and had a dealer......why not bring that up?
-
Epic Meltdown.
Not quite. Something tells me you are one of the many idiots voting for "change" but can't actually say what Obama is going to do.
How about Obama's fake birth certificate, connection to Ayers, close friendship with a racist pastor, a wife who hates America, etc. The list goes on. Change my ass. ::)
-

Obama didn't have it all that rough. Best prep school in Hawaii, Harvard, Stepdad was Pres of a bank and mom was an anthropologist (or something). he might have had a few rough years when he was younger, but then again alot of us did.

Why do you think Palin is more qualified? I dont give a fuck if she was a mayor of a town that is double the size of a big city High School. Shes govornor of a State the size of Milwaukee, and shes about to get removed from power for breaking ethics laws. QUALITY PICK!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do I need to list all the lies shes been caught in her 8 week career? Shes a fucking joke.
Experience means DICK if you show you are fucking dumb.

Obamas grandparents raised him. You always try to flip it like he was rasied by millionaires or something. You really are a scum bag coach. You are a closet racist and it shows.
Obama went to Harvard and Columbia from getting loans and good grades. Nice try.
McCain got pushed through the system with some of the wors grades in his class, and that doesnt bother you, when obama was top of his class at the hardest schools in the land...

In 2004, the military schools were hardest to get into with West Point being harder than Ivy League schools. Imagine life there compared to a normal American university. I don't think America-hating, Islam loving Obama could have lasted there. Obama and his wife fulfilled the American dream and still hate America or are at least not proud of it and you want them in the White House? Obama wouldn't even wear a US flag pin.

I think it is pointless to say so and so is more qualified than this person to be President before first understanding exactly what it is that America needs at this moment in time, and in the years to come. There's no denying the last 8 years have been extremely devasting for America. The impact of the Bush years will be felt for quite some time to come, ...but there's no denying the fact that America needs some serious healing... in all quarters. Socially, Economically, Militarily, Industrially, Technologically. The last 8 yrs have seen Americas needs neglected in favour of strategies and policies that do not work
America needs a leader with judgement and discernment. A leader capable of rebuilding Americas allegiances in the world, and her values at home. A leader capable of changing the way Washington works, capable of reaching across the aisle and working with americans regardless of their politics to achieve the solutions needed for the country.
If you're performing delicate neuro-surgery, you need a scalpel, not a hatchet.
If you're digging a hole in the ground to lay a foundation for a building, you need a bulldozer, not a teaspoon.
If you're reclaiming America's heritage, as a constitutional republic of, by, and for the people, you need Obama.
You need The Right Tool for The Right Job!

Obama is the most liberal person in Congress, even more so than the idiotic duo of Pelosi and Reid, who all make up the Dem Congress who has a lower approval rating than Bush. The people who actually vote in legislation suck and ignorant people want to vote in one of their own to be the figure head of the country.

Uh-huh... because Obama never agrees with his party or tows the party line. ;)
Obama often agrees with his party ...except of course on the issue of vouchers & charter schools right?
I remember how much flack Obama took from Democrats for voicing disagreement with fellow dems.
But if the question is who's presidency will be the same as the 8 yrs of failure America has barely survived through, ...there's no question a McCain/Palin presidency would be. If you want to pose the question who wants 8 more years of Bill Clinton, ...I think Americans would raise their hands... both hands.
No question McCain has earned the reputation as McSame, ...but in the interests of ratcheting down the rhetoric and taking the higher road in civil discourse, the very least democratic supporters can do is feign a weeny bit of respect for him before the senile old fuck gets his hat handed to him and shrivelled nuts yanked off his wrinkled arthritic carcass on the 4th. Then Cindy can cart him off to an old age home for malignant pandering whores, and we'll never have to see him or hear from him again. :)

How is Palin more qualified then Obama?. Just think:
who would you rather have handle your financial affairs Obama? or Palin?
Who would you rather have handle you legal affairs? Obama? or Palin?
If you owned a company, who would you rather have run it Obama? or Palin?
I can tell u right now, i definitely don't want her handling my money when shes spending $150K in 8 weeks on fricken clothes, and she calls Obama the big spender ::)

Mcbush is a sidekick, plain draws bigger crowds then mcbush, so she is more of a threat then some old man is. If Obama can take her out he can seal the deal. Im waiting for more bad news to come out from the investigation on Palin, should come out this week.

So you're saying that McCain is to blame for all of that? Might as well blame Obama for all the things you dislike in the Senate in the last 4 years while you're at it :-*

Nope, I'm not saying that at all... How about you actually answer a question posed to you?
Notice how easy it is.
What's with the gay ass kissing face anyway? Latent tendencies?

Bitter are we?
I'm still waiting to see you guys comment on that radio piece of Obama explaining how to implement socialism....hmmm...wher e is your response to that?
-
being liberal isnt a bad thing... Id rather have a intelligent educated Liberal than a Stupid, religious conservative.
I'd rather be a conservative nut job than a liberal with no nuts or job.McCain is no longer an issue, ...he's an old senile washed up politician. Bible spice needs to be put in her place.
He's still a presidential candidate. As stupid as people are, they have to recognize that Obama doesn't want to go after the person actually running for President.
-
Matt, your misguided on several accounts. McCain spoke at an event where ACORN was 1 of the sponsors. Completely different than Obama's campaign giving nearly $900,000 to support ACORN, speaking to them while saying they will have representation with him in office and defending them as their lawyer.
Also, voting with Bush 90% of the time is not outrageous. It sounds like a lot, but its spin. Of the great # of bills that come through washington, there are many that both parties agree on and are counted in that #. You'd probably see many of the leading democrats vote with Bush the majority of the time. Therefore, the 90% agreement in voting is misleading. They are two different people that agree on some platforms and disagree on others, stop spinning.
-
"the very least democratic supporters can do is feign a weeny bit of respect for him before the senile old fuck gets his hat handed to him and shrivelled nuts yanked off his wrinkled arthritic carcass on the 4th. Then Cindy can cart him off to an old age home for malignant pandering whores, and we'll never have to see him or hear from him again"

Jag, this quote above is very disappointing....actuall y it makes me think less of you. Not only are you insulting a presidential candidate who has contributed a lot to this country, you are vicioulsy insulting older people, which as a doc, I find disturbing. We'll all be old some day. Remember that before you make your aging insults. For someone that I'd like to give some respect to, your making that very difficult with these type of purely hateful comments. You stoop to a very angry and insulting level. You'll never see me criticize Obama or McCain in this manner whether I agree or disagree with a policy or platform. Both men deserve to be treated with some respect.

shut the fuck up

People are mislead when they say Mc Caine voted 90% with bush, when something goes to a vote, both parties vote on it. Repulicans and Dem. They make it sound like obama never voted with Bush. I'm no expert on politics and i don't believe anyone else here is as well. It's sort of like a disagrement of who's the better player or our favorite team.

Aren't you overdue at a dance somewhere? :-\
Can't you just admit you were wrong?
-
Bitter are we?
I'm still waiting to see you guys comment on that radio piece of Obama explaining how to implement socialism....hmmm...wher e is your response to that?
Not bitter at all... I answered your question... I do not think it's "all McCain's fault" as you put it.
Very straight forward... I would answer a question if I read it. I did not read the question you are referring to.
I still await your answer to my question howver.

There is no straight answer to your question, the congress have done many things over 30 years and its comprised of many people, summarizing all of that into a good/bad answer is simply wrong. Thus either you ask something specific or you will get no answer, because there is none.
Now my questions:
1.What do you think about Obama interview to the radio at 2001? (posted at other threads I can link you but I'm sure you know what I'm talking about).
2.How is a governor and former mayor less qualified than a junior senator? Being a governor is the closest to being the president as I see it.
-

Ok... on question 1, I really did miss it, so if you link it, I will watch it.
On question 2.
I never said she was "less or more" qualified...
What I've stated and continue to question is that Karl Rove said that Tim Kaine, the Governor of Virginia, was a terrible pick to be Obama's VP.
When asked why, he said that Tim Kaine only had previous experience as a city councilman of Richmond, Virginia (a city of 150,000+), was Mayor of that city, and then has been governor for 3 years (slightly longer than Sarah Palin), yet he was considered by the one of the top Republican political machinists to be a "terrible pick".
On every single qualification, Tim Kaine has been in a larger environment and dealt with bigger issues by being from a more populated area than Sarah Palin was, yet he was a terrible pick.
So why is she a "great one" according to the neo-cons?
That's what I've said.
I have never said she's less qualified... I've said she's a terrible pick.
However, if you look past the political experience, you would have to admit that Barack Obama on every other level is far superior to her... both in education and intelligence.
His ability to relay information to the American public is by far greater than hers, and considering I'm "Joe 6-pack", I question her intelligence... When I watched her debate, I instantly questioned her ability to speak coherently about topics posed to her.
How is a person who can not answer questions posed to them for the American people going to fare against foreign dignitaries when asked "why"?
-
Benny, I expect bullshit like that from you because you seem like an angry person who enjoys insulting others and shows periods of diminished intellect during arguments here. Jag is smarter so I didn't expect that from her, particularly making fun of older people.
See, I make it a practice not to insult people (unless insulted by them), because I try to be a better person than that.

Simple question, who is running for President? The Obama camp likes to take on Bush and Palin, but not really McCain.
That should show you how bad McCain is really though.
:(

Theres nnothing missleading about him voting 90% of the time with bush. Its either he did or he didnt, and he DID!. go to factcheck.org He even admitted to it on TV saying that he voted in agreement with bush more then any other republican??? so um mcbush admits it himself yet u still r defend this old bastard? Damn u guy remind me of hilary supporters, just dont know when to fricken give up ::).
Oh yeh john mcbush's family use to own slaves just 150 years ago, thought u might want to know that ;)

Hillary should have been the democratic nominee, she was much better qualified.

Historically McCain has been anywhere between 60 and 90% in voting with Bush.

Why don't you put your money where your mouth is? (and I'm not talking about Will Harris cock)
Post some SPECIFIC votes and show us how McCain Vs Obama voted on them....if you won't do that you are just copy pasting the liberal media thoughts into here.

I understand and respect your position, ...however, please understand I have a different perspective.
I believe in treating people with as much respect as they show me they deserve. I have seen sides of McCain that you evidently have not. Quite frankly, I think I've shown him more respect than he deserves.
Knowing what I know about you, I can see both where and why you would find my comments disconcerting, and for that I'm sorry that you found them upsetting. Clearly I have no respect for McCain and it shows.

With all due respect shootfighter, I don't think you've been paying enough attention to McCain lately.
I can't think of a political candidate aside from Bush, that has done more to insult people than him.
I'm not sure which insult was the biggest:
- His duplicity on the Iraq war
- His duplicity on Bush tax cuts
- His duplicity on same-sex marriage
- His duplicity on the confederate flag issue
- His selfish ambition
- His role vis-a-vis POW's / MIA's
- His gas-tax holiday
- His selection of Sarah Palin
- His suspension of his campaign
- His selling his soul...then still asking for your vote
- etc., etc., etc....
The list of insults go on and on and on... The man is either a lunatic, ...or he thinks you're stupid.
My guess is, ...it's a combination of both, ...and with the numbers who still support him, ...I might tend to agree. :-\

1. Obama doesn't "run" his campaign. He doesn't know how to make decisions, he has people do it for him. He's never ran a state, city or business and failed his district in Illinois.
Will you admit the Obama campaign has been run better than the McCain campaign, regardless of who is calling the shots? We all know neither guy is running their own campaign.

Like I give a shit or am concerned about your opinion or require your validation. ::)
Take you patronizing tone and self-righteous attitude and shove it up your ass.

So what if I am angry? Fuck off.

Oh yeh john mcbush's family use to own slaves just 150 years ago, thought u might want to know that ;)
HELLO DIPSHIT!
FACTS:
In 1860 only a small minority of whites owned slaves. According to the U.S. census report for that last year before the Civil War, there were nearly 27 million whites in the country. Some eight million of them lived in the slaveholding states.
The census also determined that there were fewer than 385,000 individuals who owned slaves (1). Even if all slaveholders had been white, that would amount to only 1.4 percent of whites in the country (or 4.8 percent of southern whites owning one or more slaves).
According to federal census reports, on June 1, 1860 there were nearly 4.5 million Negroes in the United States, with fewer than four million of them living in the southern slaveholding states. Of the blacks residing in the South, 261,988 were not slaves. Of this number, 10,689 lived in New Orleans. The country's leading African American historian, Duke University professor John Hope Franklin, records that in New Orleans over 3,000 free Negroes owned slaves, or 28 percent of the free Negroes in that city.
To return to the census figures quoted above, this 28 percent is certainly impressive when compared to less than 1.4 percent of all American whites and less than 4.8 percent of southern whites. The statistics show that, when free, blacks disproportionately became slave masters.
Was McCain alive 150 years ago?
Is McCain a slave owner?
-

By the looks of him, ...I'm not too sure. He might have been :P
Is McCain a slave owner?
His family were most definitely slave holders, and his family's wealth and position in society stems from those days.
McCain, ...as "The Prince" was a direct beneficiary of slavery.

Or maybe his wealth comes from his wife being the chair of Hensley & Co which is one of the largest anheuser-busch distributors in the U.S.

What % of the time did Obama vote with Bush?
That would put thing into perspective here.

You can quote census figures all day long. I don't care if it was only 1% of families in the south who owned slaves.
It doesn't change the fact that McCain's family was one of them, and he is a direct beneficiary of the wealth his family was able to amass as a result of all that free labour for years.

How about Obama white side of the family?
What about the Communist leader he supports in Kenya that uses his black "brothers" lives for his cause at all prices, like inducing riots that kill them....seems like modern political slavery to me.
And to the final question, why are you feeling so bitter lately?

Yeah Jag... your posts to me of late have been fairly dripping with vitriol... I thought we were friends even though we're on opposite ends of the political spectrum (and opposite sides of the US/Canada border, haha). :) What's the deal? Are there some issues we need to explore offline? ;)
