Who would have won?
Obama.
No matter what, no Republican was going to be elected this year. He would have done better but people were pissed off at the Republicans this year and they were not going to let another one take office no matter who it was

Mitt Romney.
He did not vote for the war. He was not part of the Congress pissing away our tax dollars. He was the best choice for the right to win.

I think you are right.

The election was about Palin and Bush. Seriously, McCain was out of the equation by a lot of people who vote for Osama. The economy (which should be up since Barry was voted in ::)) was the final nail in the coffin for the Republican ticket.
I think Huck would have been the best choice for VP. Palin appealed to Hilary and religious voters but that's it, so live and learn. The next Republican candidate needs Rove on his team.

Agree. The damage was done. Despite Ron PAuls common sense people in general just wated to get away from Republicans as much as possible. Plus, I think a message of all around personal responsibility are down the shitter, everyone would much rather put all their faith into one person/institution fixing everything for them, people expect a government that promises to take care of them from craddle to grave.
