i just reached home after a long trip to LARVIK-NORWAY.. it was a tough show and nice to hang out there too............
every thing were great.... hotel..food...stage....j udging...treatments....e very thing just the way we want it to be....
i won the show...and i got $8000 and a great Trophy.... the line up been tougher than last year but i can this time with new look.. here is some shoots been taken from my room the next day of the show...
## the photos might not be that good coz i did it with the SELF TIMER from my Nokia N95 ;D

there are many orgs that sponsor bodybuilding contests, including NABBA, WABBA, WNBF, Musclemania. There are many very successful contests that don't have any "sanctioning organization". So what? It's not like the IFBB is filling the demand for shows in Europe.

if the IFBB would have any business sense they'd offer to sanction next year's Norway's Battle of the Giants, and they'd invite Sami to the Arnold. But since their false sense of (one-way) loyalty wouldn't allow them to make the right business decision regarding Jeff King or Matt Mendenhall back in the 1980s and 90s, I'm not holding my breath.

THANK YOU all for the support and Motivation...... i am glad that i reached this Condition& Size ALONE with Self work....thought to do what works with my body this time and it turned really Effective, i dont think i will need a Nutritionest for my contest prep. as long as i know what works best for me, YES may be i will need and seek for an advice or consultation but not fully taking over......i shall do the same next time with some adjustments......

You will soon see some extremely god athletes entering UPBF contests, not because they are banded from the IFBB nor that their time is over but just because they want to compete with the best athletes in Europe and maybe later US ;)

there are some good builds over there,different looking but good.they get a chance to showcase there hardwork for something,in u.s. u have to be known or good name recognition to even have a look.there are plenty u.s. bbers who face same fate yr after yr.

Reading these posts is truly amazing and really entertaining. What amazes me is that the same people on here bashing Sami couldn't compete with his physique if they combined all of their best bodyparts together to make one person. You guys are truly clowns. It's so obvious to even the most novice of bodybuilders or those who love the game, that Sami has an exceptional physique. I've been a recreational bodybuilder for over 20yrs and damn well know when I see a good physique. I would put Sami on stage with the best in the game and dare anyone to say he wouldn't be competitive. By the way, did I mention you guys are clowns.
As previously mentioned in another post, Sami is still young and will most definitely improve. Imagine this....how many people in the world do you think bodybuild, aspire to be a bodybuilder, are a bodybuilder or are recreational bodybuilders. Well out of those millions upon millions of people the percentage of them that have a better physique than Sami Haddad's is very slim. He is a top tier bodybuilder no matter what organization he belongs to. You haters out there just throwing around insults like you can even hold a pair of Sami's posing trunks is just ridiculous and disheartening. Yes, disheartening. I don't know about you but I feel a sort of comradery when I meet up with fellow bodybuilders or those who love the irongame as much as I do. You know, when your comments are as ridiculous as some of those on this thread it only serves to solidify Sami's place in the bodybuilding world. He's got what is takes to compete with the best in the World. You non athletes who are just here to hate probably can't grasp what that means. He's one of the best in what he does and I personally would love to see him in the IFBB competing against the best.
That doesn't take anything away from his physique or what he's accomplished this far. I'm sure after reading this you clowns will continue on with your negative and immature comments and probably blast me a bit as well. I just want to end by saying congratulations to you Sami. You are an inspiration to many and your body speaks for itself. Keep up the good work and I'm sure we'll see you claim your rightful place in the world of competitive bodybuilding.

Look, Bob does the right thing, and tries his best.
The IFBB is the place where the top pros are. Simple as that.
The 2009 schedule is posted, and it is up to the pros to compete or not to compete.
But that is where its at, where the supplement companies look at who to sponsor, and more.
People ask me all the time on who to get to sponsor, and surprisingly, a lot of people are sponsored.

The 2009 schedule is posted, and it is up to the pros to compete or not to compete.
But that is where its at, where the supplement companies look at who to sponsor, and more.
People ask me all the time on who to get to sponsor, and surprisingly, a lot of people are sponsored.

Things will changes
I live after Lee Labradas motto. If you belief it you can achieve it, and I belief that things will changes when the athletes get a god alternative to IFBB Pro league.
But I also know that this will take time. So we will concentrate us about Europe first because there is no Pro contest here anymore, and then will see what happen.
I haw not started UPBF to take over something but to give the athletes one alternative, and then the athletes choose themselves where they want to compete.
One thing is different about UPBF, you don’t get a penalty if you compete in a different organization and like to come back.

1. No, he has never been a IFBB pro
2. He can compete wherever he wishes, but, much like Priest...if your wish is to be in the IFBB, then it's probably not in your best interest while campaigning to be let in and recognised by the IFBB.
3. To answer the question of traveling, etc....he doesn't HAVE to do anything...it's all about choice. We have shows outside the US....
4. When you get into the IFBB Europe/ Asia and affiliates...it's conveluted at best. Unlike here in the USA...there are pretty clear guidelines as to how you win your card. Over there...you have to have the president of your countrys federation chapter basically reccomend you to the Pro League...
As for competing in other non-IFBB shows in the meantime....sure, he can do it...but it's like trying to date one girl in particular, but continuing to see others at the same time...where it might be a better course of action to show dilligence and a clear direction of what your intentions are.

Well, here we go again. You know, I told myself that I wouldn't send another post on this ridiculous thread, where all that's getting accomplished is some of us are opening our mouths and letting the others know just how immature we really are. This seems really simple to me but maybe I'm missing something. The last time I checked the IFBB was a business. Okay, technically it's a Federation of Athletes but we all know the IFBB wouldn't be around very long if it wasn't making money. That being said, why in the world would an organization touted (and rightfully so) as having the best bodybuilders in the world, not want to recruit the best athletes from around the world to compete within their ranks. I may be the only one out there but don't you think adding world class physiques like Sami's would only add to the popularity and success of the organization. In my humble opinion, the bodybuilding powers that be seem to be moving towards awarding bodybuilders that posses the more aesthetic and well conditioned physiques. The problem with the IFBB in the past was that bodybuilders represent a very small percentage of the public and as such our sport has struggled to win over the general public. This has resulted in a stagnation of our sport. Now that the tables seem to be turning and bodybuilders such as Dexter Jackson are finally getting the rewards they deserve I think it may be a turning point for our sport. That being said, physiques like Sami's would only serve to increase the popularity of our sport, bringing it more into the mainstream. You haters out there (for lack of a better word) have to admit, wouldn't you love to see what Sami could do on stage with the best our sport has to offer. Win or loose I bet you would be the first ones to log on to the net or buy you favorite magazine to see what happened and compare and contrast physiques. (since we know most of us are professional armchair judges) To me this is a no brainer. Obviously there are rules and regulations that all organizations have to follow. I would think that individuals who have any responsability for the success of the IFBB would be doing all they can to recruit athletes like Sami. Should he comply with whatever rules and regulations they set forth then I think it would be in the best interest of the IFBB as well as bodybuilding in general (that would include all of us) for the IFBB to implement a program or a set of guidelines for just such situations.
Now, as far as the not competing in other professional organizations so you can wait on the IFBB, let me just say if you are a competitive bodybuilder then it's in your blood. Sitting on your ass waiting is not an option. Enough said. This one doesn't deserve to be discussed on this forum at all.
Sami, keep up the good work. Do what you do and let your physique speak for itself. Believe me, even Stevie Wonder can see your potential. I'm praying that you will get your chance to "do what you do". Enough said.

Thanks for the correction. That just solidifies my point even more . A privately owned company is definitely focused on the bottom line. It only makes good business sense to promote and recruit fresh new talent that can help to improve the marketability of the sport. Not only to the muscleheads but to the general public. That's what Sami can bring to the game. I'm not taking anything away from the mass monsters. They're incredible, but I don't think they are who will take the sport to the next level. Obviously this is just IMHO.

I doubt very much the trophy and the $8K are the predominant factors motivating you to achieve such an exceptional physique.

seems like sami had big differences with his national IFBB section. As we know he tried to compete in an intern. IFBB contest held in Germany in Oct. (Body-Xtreme Invitational) but he did´n t get a IFBB starter-lizenz from his national IFBB section. How can he qualifiy to be a IFBB Pro when they don´t let him compete in IFBB amateur contests ?
The win in norway (for me) was ok...his looking in good shape with better aesthetics and Proportion than the (more hardcore looking)italian Savi.
Looking at the photos it´also seems that Sami is much taller than Savi. Did anyone know how tall the italian is ? (looks like around 5 "5" or less).

but I was at the show in Larvik! Sami owned both the crowd and the other athletes.

Didn't someone say Putnam turned Pro. Granted he may have been off this go round but anyone with an ounce of bodybuilding experience and half that much integrity should see that this is just a travesty. What I don't understand is, not only does Sami suffer not having the opportunity to compete against the best (which he obviously deserves) but the IFBB suffers by passing up on one of the best bodybuilders and future stars of our sport. All this hype behind Brewer and Putnam........for what? No disrespect to either one of them. (I can't beat them, but....) I really can't see the logic. Maybe it's just me.

What I do want to comment on is if being and IFBB Pro required a magnetic and pleasing personality or the absence of Steroids, there would probably be nobody worth seeing on stage at all. We probably wouldn't even have this website or the opportunity to post and exchange our views on line. So to that point I must say your argument is beyond ridiculous. As far as Sami's "Reign of Mediocrity" as you so elegantly put it, God please let us all be that Mediocre. Either you are blind or stupid and I'm not gonna be the one to call any names so I'll leave it at that. There is absolutely nothing Mediocre about Sami or his achievements thus far in our sport. To cap off your ignorance you have to throw that comment in there about praying five times a day like that's some kind of bad thing. I think we all could use a little bit more prayer in our lives.
