The day after Thanksgiving, lots of fat people on here probably overate. Who is going to the gym? I am going there to tan, might as well work out while I am there.

Doing bodyweight training later today and did about a half hours sledgehammer forearm work this morning with some fingertip pushups thrown in afterwards :)

If he died today, decomposition would melt that adipose tissue right off. In 2 weeks he could easily go from 42% to 10%.

Oh I'm getting good results from training six times a week right now. But I got plenty of time to sleep and recover well .. eating good stuff etc.
I tried everything from 2 workouts a week with one upper bodyworkout and one for the lower body to 6-split routine with own day for each muscle. Right now I'm splitting into 3 different workouts and do each workout twice a week. When I don't feel like it I take a day off. After years of training you get that ability to listen to your body and you know what works for you and what does not. I'm not going ultra-heavy each workout and keep the volume quite low. I can make good progress by going to the gym twice a week as well but right now there's not much to do for the next couple of weeks so.. I'm just doing what I feel like.

Well as I said I tried a whole lot of different routines , training styles etc.
If it's just about getting bigger 3-4 times a week is the best for me to do.
But strength-wise it works out better for me if I go to the gym more often.
I just focus on basic compound-excersises like squats benchpress deadlift chin-ups ..
I usually use lighter weights on the 2nd day of each excersise and don't go to failure.
I'm not natural either I think that is an important information when talking about training frequency.
Btw. you are that guy from the Netherlands right ? I lived there for quite a while .. nice country. Loved those coffeshops ;D I'm still going there from time to time..

I feel like I should workout even though I really didn't eat that much yesterday. I come from a huge Black family where there was all kinds of artery clogging sh*t to eat. I eat 85% healthy bb type diet all year and I really just wanted a big ass steak or a seafood buffet instead of all the soul food. A plate of turkey, a little macaroni and two pieces of sweet potato pie was it for me. My cousins each around 280-300lbs 40% bf thought I had an eating disorder because I didn't want gravy on everything. Does anyone know how many grams of protein there are in chitterlings (chittlins' if you're from the South)? :-X

Went ahead and knocked out a solid leg workout around 7am this morning, they doing a "holiday blitz sale" at the mall across the street, which tends to spill over to the gym parking lot around noonish.

don't know how much protein is in chitlins', but aren't they made from pig intestines and rectum? Thats some good eatin' right there...

Yes, but I prefer the ole going in there and struggling to do 1/4 rep situps for about 10 minutes and then going next door to the Starbucks and getting their Extra Large Mocha Frappucino which is the equivalent of a couple big macs.

since i have the keys its a 24 health club to me,i have trouble sleeping at nights and ill go train at 12 or 1 in the morning in a huge empty gym,its such a great feeling having all that equipment to yourself and not having to work in with someone
