dont worry about messageboard, pretty easy to install. i think globat package comes with one preinstalled.

They don't provide a decent Control Panel and No, you don't have anything like Fantastico that will let you install smf - you have to do it manually.
I'd rather go for someone like http://byethost.com/ - free hosting and really good service.

registering a domain is about $10 per year at places like godaddy.com, but then you need to host it someplace. godaddy does offer such services, but there are many other places for $50 to $100/year. then you need software installed. if all you want is a message board like this one, which uses SMF, then you need a site that supports php and mysql.

you want to have a forum where people can post and read messages.
so you need to
1) register the name at someplace like godaddy. $10/year

and probably
4) pay someone to manage the site for you

I have people scouring the boards reading and asking anyone if they use his products, then someone I know on here is going to send the list of people to another company and the key is for them to target these individuals aggressively, hopefully offer products half off. I am also open to any and all ideas. He crossed the line by shitting on Rons site, making me shit my pants and making Genes face break out.

I was pissed at Cingular a few years ago and was going to get a domain cingularsucks.com, cingularblows.com, etc... I kept coming up with domain names but they were always taken. I was like WTF?? when I went to check to see who had registered these names it turned out to be Cingular. I guess they knew people would be doing that shit...lol.

what they end up doing is having to purchase the domain from the webmaster. i forgot but one company paid $25K or something like that to get rid of one of the suck sites a couple of yrs back.

That's the whole idea I am rallying against. I am sick of people using Ron to make money. They are ruining our site and Chris is by far the biggest culprit.

here is a hint: don't buy useless supplements. limit yourself to additive free protein powders (such as custom blends at trueprotein.com), multivitamins, and oils high in EFAs. everything else is either worthless or just not cost effective. use all the money you save to buy membership at a better gym.
