I got to keep my job during a 2 week christmas shutdown. also, I work in the construction industry, and if anyone else does, they can tell you how valuable not getting laid off is. A company I worked for last year (small business glazing company) that had almost 1.2 million in profit last year made literally a 3 dollar profit this year.
