You can train them how to fight, but you can't train them to have class.

Exactly. Thats why I can't stand that guy.

I like Forrest, but he's not on Evans level.
And Evans will have a rainy day against Jackson.
Forrest is overhyped like hell.
If he's matched up against someone decent next time he'll get his ass whopped.

Forrest is definitely legitimate. He just happens to be the most inconsistent fighter in the UFC. Every talks about how sick his ground game is, but this is the second fight Ive seen (jardine) where he gets on his back and is simply MAULED.

Just like when Melvin Guillard got his ass beat by Rich Clementi.
The dumb ass was still running his mouth in the cage right after Rich gave him a beat down.......... the best part was when Rich waved bye bye to him and said look I just beat his ass and he's still talking shit. ;D

Forrest has an average stand up. Not bad, but not awesome either.
On the ground he's out of his league if he's matched against someone with a good ground game.
-
Forest got this far by hard work. He's the first to admit he lacks knockout power and solid ground skills.
He will however go out there and train/fight his heart out until he gets stopped. Always respected him for that.
I'm neutral when it comes to Evans.

He will probably improve his ground game steadily after this. In a few years, he'll be top notch.
In all seriousness, Rashad = a very impressive young man, great improvement since his TUF days, and he conducts himself in a very respectable way.

So when he kissed his hand and grabbed his crotch at Forrest after their exchange........that was "respectable"?
-
I used to loathe Rashad until I met him after the Liddell KO. He's actually extremely humble, very nice and very smart. I knew that he would beat Forrest. I think he now has a chance to become one of the most dominant UFC champs. It would be great if he could actually clean out the division and retire undefeated :D

That = selective. No matter how you choose to interpret that little situation, the overall impression is that he conducts himself in a very respectable manner.
-
He was the only guy in a suite at the press conference :D

I think Evans is boring as hell.
But he's a very good fighter and hard to beat.

You always got to respect a guy doesn't dress like a punk.
-
Cmon guys- Griffin is a very good fighter and tough as nails- he just isnt very talented. Rashad is a great athlete, a world class wrestler and his striking is steadily improving. Griffin gets by on hard work and heart- He just got beat by the better man-- Rashad is like a brand new Porsche and Forest is like a Volvo. Im sure he will bounce back and do well. Rashad looks like he is going to be a star.
-
I hope Rashad gets knocked retarded in his next fight.

Evans used to be boring. But with KOs like Liddell & Salmon, not so much anymore...

At the post fight press conference Rashad joked that he thought Forrest was playing possum because he was smiling the whole time Rashad was raining down punches on him. Apparently Rashad was waiting for Forrest to do something but he never did and the fight was stopped. He acknowledged that Griffin was a pretty tough guy who managed to figure out his timing and beat him to the punch a couple of times.

I don't see him holding onto his belt for long. When he meets Rampage he will be over powered IMO. I just don't see Rashad as the dominant champ, I didn't see Forrest holding the belt for long either. IT WILL BE INTERESTING IN 09!
