Can someone educate me on a the term "supine bench press"....I understand supination and pronation, but don't get it with a bench.
-

Yeah if I was a featherweight!
:(
-
i'm TEARING UP the junior featherweight #'s. ;D
-
Stronger Than All.
-
On teh Uk strongest man they had a curl event.
They had 2 huge milk/butter churns that swung about freely and wildly on a bar.
The had their back and but against a pole and a weighlt belt attached keeping them that way.
Had to do strict curls so bar touched their chin.
Great even. Once you stopped that was it. Winner in heat i seen got 13 reps with 154lbs...I thought very impressive.

"How heavy of a churn can you curl, bro?" hahaha
-
it was a cool event.
Glenn Ross organised it.
There was a giant one arm dumbell press. 168lbs. Handle was so thick noone was close to getting their hands around it. It was stupidly big and awkward.
He got 13 reps and quit cos he clearly won.
Was also a tug of war type thing on a H shaped metal frame about a metre each side called 'The sweetie snatcher'. The milk one was the Kurdler event lol.
Was an incline log press i never seen before. For reps. Once you drop the bar thats you. 308lbs
-
i prefer those strength standards

The sweetie snatcher thing was a shit event. It was raining and they just ended up falling all over the place :-\

Hopefully you are a stronger lifter, than you are a good speller..I thought people spoke English over in the UK

i watched that this morning goud..... those guys are suuuuper strong
did u see the event where they had to do four or was it five lifts in one
lift the stone... and the a 90kg dumbell with one hand ..had to do it with one arm then the other... then the log...
then that heaavy ass barbell none of them got the barbell... but those guys are super strong
-
no im not
-
Excellent across the board.
-
excellent on everything except the deadlift and pullups. apparently my deadlift sucks.
i also find it weird that "unlimited" is everything over 198. that seems a little... odd. i'd imagine most people who exercise and are taller than 5'10 weigh at least 200 pounds.

Goudy is bloody intelligent, so he tells me. ::)

It's unclear where the numbers come from. Strong compared to who? The figures (unless he defines/explains the basis for them I didn't see) are pretty arbitrary it appears.
Personally, from the time I have spent over the years, research, etc I set the line at 2 X BW in the flat bench, and 3 X BW in the dead lift and squat (and of course form is another matter...) as "strong" relative to BW.

I'm pretty fucking strong...
If you put me in a room full of wimps. :( ;D
-
if i was a featherweight, i'd do fair in the bench press...otherwise.... :'(
-
does having da dubba c count ?
-
wow its official, if i lose 136 lbs, ill be at the high end of fair
-
meso...
did you see the irish guy james fennelly.
in the idfpa at like 100kg junior he deadliufted 325kg easily. Guy was an unreal lifter. Always tested and passed. I think he quit PLing to pursue strongman...prob more suited. Once he fills out he will be awesome lifter.
He hold the irish bench record. Im looking to break it in comp before i turn into a senior. His deadliuft is unreal. Squat very good also.
i dont care about spelling online. its not important. as long as the jist of what i am saying comes across

The dumbell press lift figures don't seem to be proportionate to the other lifts...too light. Anyone agree?
