At lunch usually chicken, steak, rice, beans, pasta... stuff like that. Only bad time is weekends because I tend to eat a little less. One crappy meal/month which is pizza and 4 or 5 wings. Also only have bacon once/month even though I love that shit. No soda, donuts, pastries, and almost no chocolate. Had maybe 6 deserts last year.

I love candy (eat it until it's gone) and should cut down the coffee. Nobody's perfect. :)

Protein-Invaluable if looking to make positive changes with your physique.
Creatine-I have recognized the value of this supplement. Reps decrease when not on it. Absolutely works!
Fish Oils-Proven scientifically to have many health benefits.
Assorted Vitamins-Taken to supplement a diet, not absolutely necessary.
ECA-Looking to cut, this helps dramatically.
Thats about it, the rest is gimmicky, garbage.

It's one of those weird things that happens when the diet gets too clean you lose the taste for old favorites.

Why are they bad for you?

most are fine.  taking 8 large horsepills to help with post-workout recovery (you know the supplement I'm talking about) seems like it might be a lot of work on liver and kidneys.

I stopped taking all this shit about 2-3 years ago, to be honest my physique is coming along just as it was when I was blasting 400mg whey shakes, amino acids, glutamine, creatine and all that NOS shit everyday. To be completely honest, I feel better overall, don't feel bloated from the shakes anymore, I just started eating more 'good' foods like chicken, fish, steak, etc. As long as you eat a lot of good foods 5-7 times a day in well proportioned meals you will be just fine. I wonder if all those idiots setting their timers for 2 hours to take their anabolic halo/gakic/NOS/ion cold filtered fusion whey stack are realizing how little of an overall difference it makes, LOL.

Secret: If you mix fiber powder with protein shakes or food before you go to bed, the protein will be absorbed slower and you will get steady stream of protein during the night. No need to set alarm clocks through the night.

Secret 2: It's not a good idea to eat a big meal right before bed since the digestion energy use will prevent ultimate rest during sleep and you wake up groggy and tired.

Creatine is without doubt the best supplement I've used for weight training.
I literally gained kilo's using that stuff but I lose it once I stop.....but the main advantage for me was the strength gain but especially the endurance to push a few extra reps. It really does make a noticeable difference.
I also did recover quicker and had less stiffness after workouts.

But I think it's one of those supplements that not everyone responds well to....it might not even have an effect for some, but for me it works great so I can't complain.

But I stopped the creatine because it bloats my face up and gives me a moon face  :-\

Also, I can't prove it but I'm convinced it helps joints as well.

Quoted for Truth.

I used to do all the vitamin crap, B-Complex, C, Calcium, Multi, Glutamine, etc.

Only supplement I use now is 1 protein shake per day after workout.

Supplements are garbage, Protein powder sucks - eat real food.

If you need vitamins, eat more vegetables.

If you need more protein, eat more meat you cook at home

1. Vegtables taste like shit+pain in the ass to cook and vitamin tablets are cheap as fuck.
2. I don't know where you live but steak and chicken is expensive to be eating all day, i don't use any protein powder etc. but i am forced to eat cheaper meats like tuna and the very cheap frozen bags of chicken breasts.

you can buy the frozen veg that comes in the microwavable steam bag and it steams them in 5 min - Very easy

A vitamin tablet is not the same thing as eating a vegetable, just like protein powder is not the same as eating a lean steak.

Tuna and frozen chicken is fine.  I hate to see guys eating, processed meat and deli meats.

Get your favorite veg in the steamer bag, and add 1 cup to each meal.  You will notice a difference.
