Alright... I was digging through some photos to send to a friend and i found these.... approximately a year ago i had a meltdown and deleted all my bodybuilding pictures from when i started lifting back in 2006. I just happened to find a way to recover many of them but the images have degraded over time. These are probably the most embarrassing pictures i have of myself but im laying them out for all to see. You should never give up on your lifting goals. We all looked like crap at some point in time. I did some of my hardest trolling on MD forums when i looked like that. The only reason i can bring myself to post these pictures is because i no longer look like this. The point of this thread is to motivate all the AXA Chaotics out there to never give up on their lifting dreams ;D. It was probably the most awkward time of my life. I was a freshman in college and didn't know anyone. I was fat and sweating all the time and totally delusional. Everyone would tell me how HYOOOOOGE i was hahahaha. All i cared about was lifting. These pictures were the height of my delusion. At about this time i had met The True Adonis and he pretty much saved me from myself by telling me i was obese ;D Warning.... im really putting myself out here but sense i have a self deprecating sense of humor so im ok with it. I am also very comfortable with my getbig brothers ::) ;D

Holy shit i can't believe i just posted these trailer trash pictures. Hahahahaha ok. Let's now begin with 2007 when i dropped all the weight down and turned into a skinny twink. Hahahaha just awful.

very good stuff, you were never really that fat to begin with just a winter bulk looks like, but great ending progress.

How did you get so lean?
-
And now.... i was pretty shocked at the change 2 years time had made so that is why i felt the need to post them. You should never give up and always try your hardest at whatever you do because you have no choice but to improve. Feel free to contribute

It may not have looked like much but when you have 6 inch wrists and a 19 inch arm and you drop 70 pounds and go down to about a 14.5 then you realize that you had a lot of fat covering your body.

Is that after your first cycle or second?

Good job; thats an impressive transformation!!! Aside from getting leaner, it looks like you've put on a good amount of muscle in those last pictures.
Just think what another 2 years will bring...

Thanks Jeff that means a lot coming from you. You have always inspired me with your conditioning. I'm going to try to get as lean as i did in 2007 this year. 2008 was kind of an off year because i knew i wouldn't be big enough as a middle weight and i only dieted 6 weeks.

I attribute it to a body composition change. You literally have to train your body to run on different energy sources. I always recommend people drop down as lean as they can get before they start eating heavy. I remember my friend who used to bodybuild was always lean and eating garbage and i could never figure it out. It wasn't until after dieting down a few times that my body started to function the way i wanted it too. I always tell people the best way to grow is to drop down until you can go no further and then to start cramming the calories down. It will get to a point where your BMR will increase and it will be very difficult to store fat. Another thing that is strange with me is that i have difficulty growing when i'm eating a lot of calories/ bulking. I notice when i'm dropping body fat i have growth spurts. I think a lot of this has to do with the fact that you have insulin receptors in your fat and i THINK you have androgen receptors in your fat as well.... not 100% sure on that though. Someone correct me if i'm wrong. When you burn this fat you have more open receptors in your muscles.

no it's just an optical illusion, at a certain point enough fat melts away so that you see more of the muscle. At low tide rocks look bigger, but' it's not because they have grown.

Nahhh i have pictures to prove it.. But that is also part of the process. There will be weeks sometimes where i don't lose weight and i will harden up and get leaner.
