Do they not drug test these guys. last thing you want is this schmoe to have a heart attack or passout or have roid rage while flying. Where the fuck are the standards for pilots these days?

One, most employers who implement drug testing are FAR MORE CONCERNED about narcotics than they are about anabolics (as their testing protocols probably don't detect steroids, anyway).
Two, there are plenty of overweight pilots who could just as easily have heart attack as you claim Stubbs can.

I think he is just a freight pilot, not a passenger pilot. But would be fun to see how this guy fits into the cockpit.

If I were a pilot I don't think I'd be doing too much bodybuilding. Instead I'd be counting my money.

i knwo a 34yr old pilot on a nice 100k a year.
He flies from dublin-NY then has to rest 48 hrs before flying back. And yes he does bang the stewardesses

I wondered about this myself when I read it in some mag, he is flying a commercial plane and no matter what anyone says, that is very irresponsible of him

Actually, i remember a story about one pilot who was a bodybuilder, and he wasn't allowed/able to fly a certain plane type (DC-10) because his legs were so thick that he couldn't fully turn the yoke, it kept hitting his thighs...

If I were a pilot I don't think I'd be doing too much bodybuilding. Instead I'd be counting my money.
i work with pilots all day long..trust me they dont make shit.. unless they were in before the last 5 years they're starting at about 30-40 and lucky to get passed 60.. the airlines are cutting back everything these days,,no exception to the pilots.

Stubbs is a pilot for Bahamasair. Their requirement for pilots probably aren't as stict as US airlines. They are probably happy to have Stubbs. The other pilots are smoking ganga that they got from the Bahama to Jamaica run. ;D

i work with pilots all day long..trust me they dont make shit.. unless they were in before the last 5 years they're starting at about 30-40 and lucky to get passed 60.. the airlines are cutting back everything these days,,no exception to the pilots.
Just the other day there was an article in finnish newspaper, saying that in Finnair (finland's biggest airline company) an average pilot makes 11 000 euros in month...And in fact, they are now about to start a strike if they don't get a 4% pay raise, so that's how much they are cutting back ::)

If he does have a heart attack, the rest of the crew could just strap themselves to his back, and land safely when he does a lat spread going into rigor mortis.
