Yes Tim this subject seems to fall on deaf ears. The Greek IFBB Officials would like to know How is Mike Kefa on the IFBB Pro poster in Australia and also why are they giving him his IFBB Pro card???Seems all SamiBlacksmith has to do to get his IFBB Pro card is go to Australia.
-
It's bullshit that they've got 'Pros' in the amateur! >:(
-
Chick answer this and the Question about Mike Kefa and the Greek IFBB Officials wanting to be PAID $50000 Euro for his IFBB Pro card.As the Athletes Rep you look out for this guy after all he is a Pro he is on the Australian Pro Poster.
-

Most Arab and SE Asian countries pay their athletes a salary to compete internationally. placing at the IFBB Asian Championships can get you a $100k bonus from your government. How are they not professionals?
Many Latin American contests give the overall winner $500 or $1000 cash. How is that not professional?
-
Good Questions Chick talk on this and the Corrupt Greek officials hitting up one of your athletes for $50000 for his IFBB Pro card not that it mattered as he just asked Australia and they gave him one.Soon you will be able to get a IFBB Pro card when you spend ten dollars at Wallmart.

IFBB Pro - If you don't renew your card in one year then you'll be an amateur again and you can compete at amateur shows. But after that I don't know that you can renew the card again...
PDI, NABBA, WABBA Pro - Who cares??? Fake pros...

said like a true company man, of a company that doesn't pay you anything
or to put it another way: how does your winnings as a real pro compare to Sami's as a fake pro?

Crap Garry Strydon Stepped back on stage as an IFBB Pro and he was BANNED at one time.Think before you speak. As for your statement about other Pros how about the Greek that got his IFBB Pro card Gift from Australia when in Greece they wouldn't give it to him???Now that's a FAKE.

I don't know the story but the IFBB Professional League give you a pro card so who cares which nation's National Federation manage that petition for you...
-

No it is not fake. It's justice being served. Petty local chairman should not be able to block a qualified athlete from making a living as a pro.
The IFBB Pro League is a for profit business. They should be trying to maximize their profits by getting the best athletes on stage. They and only they should decide who to invite to their contests.

Yes True but the Guy didn't win a Pro Qualifier. So it's a Gift this same guy placed 3rd in his class at the Arnold Amateur he CAN'T even Win his Class yet he is on the Australian IFBB Pro poster.JOKE.

I'm a pro but not for money... If I'll succesful the money will come.
Sami?
First of all he's almost 36 years old, I'm 25.
And as I saw he always chosen the easier way to be succesful: Asian Championships, Musclemania, PDI...
I always chosen the hardest way. And I'm just at the beginning of my journey.

IFBB Asian Amateur Championships, which he entered 7 times, and placed in the top 3 each time, is the easy road?

If your an IFBB Pro and it's NOT for Money why do you come on here asking people in America to help you with Money and jobs and stuff.Just think if you didn't spend all your cash on Drugs you might be able to save a little cash and pay your own way in LIFE.

IFBB Asian Championships, Musclemania, PDI are easier roads? Well, compared to the others, yes.
After my NPC Border States overall win, being IFBB Pro is an easy road? No, that a huge step. And logical step? Not. But what should I did? Continue in WABBA until I have the physique to be a succesful IFBB Pro....? Thanks, but no.
-
Why do they let IFBB Pros compete with Amateurs Mike Kefa is on the Australian Pro poster and must have his Pro card 1week before that show.Funny thing was he couldn't even Win his Amateur class.I think Sami may have won his.Blacksmith move to Australia and get your IFBB Pro card.
-

the IFBB Asian Championships is easier than what?
After my NPC Border States overall win,
did you ever compete in the IFBB amateurs internationally? European Championships? Worlds? why did you deserve a pro card in the IFBB but people who win their class in IFBB international contests don't?
But what should I did? Continue in WABBA until I have the physique to be a succesful IFBB Pro....?
what started this is that you called other people fake pros, why enter a contest if it's not IFBB? because they enjoy competing? because it allows them to make a living? because the IFBB isn't exactly holding contests where there seems to be an interest? Those Norway and French contests seem to be doing quite well. Theaters are selling out.
Of course paying a sanction fee to the IFBB might be what makes a contest financially nonviable. If every contest became unaffiliated then the executives of the Pro IFBB might have to take a pay cut. The IFBB has no direct way to get to the promoters of those non-IFBB contests. The only thing they can do is threaten the athletes. But as the first message in this thread shows, they're all talk and no action, unless your name is Sami.

Good Point 240 it's sort of like the Drug Rule.I like the Greek story best the IFBB Officials wanted $50000 Euros from Mike Kefa so he pulled out his Australian passport and said No thanks I will represent Australia.HAHAHAHHAHA.
-
the IFBB Asian Championships is easier than what?
Than the IFBB European and the Worlds Championships.
did you ever compete in the IFBB amateurs internationally? European Championships? Worlds? why did you deserve a pro card in the IFBB but people who win their class in IFBB international contests don't?
No, and if you would know Hungary then you would know why. That was one of my dreams to compete at those championships but the Hungarian National Federation didn't make it possible for me and the other athletes.

Everybody compete where he wants to compete. Don't make a discussion about that. But the IFBB Professional League is a different level. Everybody knows it.
-
What level is that???How much money have you won from IFBB Pro shows???

-
Why do you insist on asking how much money Steve has made as a pro?
He's made the same amount as Dexter Jackson did when he first turned pro...OK?
-
Sorry Chick I just thought Professional Athletes made money from their chosen sport this guy comes on here typing his Drug use Illegal as it may be in the IFBB and post 1000s of pics only to come on here asking people in America to help him get a sponsor so what is Pro about Him???
-

You're making yourself look stupid with this attack...nobody got into pro BB for the money...EVER
-

LOL!
Ain't that the truth.
-
Chick, is there any particular reason why you and Dan don't interview the Lifetime Achievement recipient(s) after the show like you do with some of the competitors and Arnold?
-
The IFBB Pro League does not pay you anything. You have to pay them.
Some (very few) athletes use their Pro Card to get a better standing with potential sponsors.
It remains a fact that bodybuilders are the most underpaid athletes.

We would have loved to have interviewed Franco, but webcasting isnt the same as telecasting the event on TV....were two seperate entities, meaning...we would have to have capabilities to coordinate with the ASC production staff to cut away for the interview which means something else going on in the show WOULDN'T get shown to the webcast audience....
Other than that, if Franco was around at the conclusion of the show...we could have had both Arnold AND Franco on with interviews....
-
Simple just get him on your radio show.Seems like a Cool guy.Very short but he did win the Olympia in 81 and that had NOTHING to do with the fact that Arnold won the 80.

1. Pros from other organization doesnīt matter the IFBB....but to compete in IFBB Pro Shows those Athletes need an IFBB Starter Lizens and they have to qualify as all other Amateurs to get htere IFBB Procard.
2. in the case of Mabrouk/Egypt (several time IFBB World Champion) it was not against the IFBB rules, "cause" IFBB Pros are allowed
to go back to the Amateurs (losing there Procard), but canīt get a new Procard after this (Re-Amateurs, i remember Hamdullah Aykutlug who did the same, after he recognized that he wonīt be a top-Pro....).

Yes but Mike Kefa is an IFBB Pro on the Australian poster.Doesn't matter anyway this guy couldn't even win his class in the Amateurs 3rd out of 5.Should do well in IFBB Pro shows.
