Well, especially at a young age there are some people who can really eat junk all day without gaining one gram. But they also have troubles putting on lean mass, so it's just fair. :)

In controlled situations, matabolisms do not vary that much between people.
Eating "junk" all day is irrelevant, what's relevant is total intake. They have problems putting on weight because they don't eat enough.

Eating clean is just a matter of habit. I mean, you're basically a junkie. Withoug knowing it, you're addictet to sugar, flavor enhancers and all the other industrial garbage which has become part of our everyday food (unfortuanely).
If you go cold turkey, ban every single garbage food from your diet and eat only fresh, self-prepared meat, fruits, vegetables, good carb sources, the beginning is hard, but I promise you, after 1 or 2 weeks consistency you won't miss anything of this garbage anymore.
It's also much much easier not to eat any chocolate than a lil bit of it. It's just plain addiction-behaviour. Avoid it and it won't haunt you, as simple.

When I want to eat something sweet, I just have something sweet for lunch. I also often have a normal sized desert at lunch.

So siehts aus. Wenn ich schonmal Schrott fresse dann will ich mir aber auch keine Limits setzen sondern mich mal richtig austoben. 1 Stück kuchen, 1 Rippe Schokolade.....tzzzz; Befriedigt weder Hunger noch Gelüste sondern macht einzig und allein Appetit auf mehr, und wenn dein Blutzuckerspiegel wieder in den Keller fällt dann MUSST du weiter essen weil es dir der Körper befiehlt, es geht gar nicht anders.

Chicken Wings, solide, nix Besonderes, gibts eh alle paar Monate mal unter nem neuen Namen fast dieselben: 7/10
Potatoe Dippers, Totalausfall, extrem letschig und fad, jede selbstgemachten Backrohrpommes schmecken besser: 2/10
McFlurry KitKat hatten die A...geigen keinen mehr, also musste ich mich mit nem McSundae Schoko begnügen, aber auch gut: 8/10
Jaja, so speist es sich für 11 € bei McD. ;D

Ich kann das mit den leckeren Koestlichkeiten aus deiner Heimat nachvollziehen, hausgemacht und schoen zubereitet, aber das kann doch nicht wahr sein, dass DIE BEIDEN Geschaefte gesundes und gutes Essen machen?! :o

"bad quality" and "healthy, good food" is too unspecific. I judge food by taste, and by scientifically proven unhealthy ingredients. I would rate taste avarage (it's not exactly gourmet food), and apart from maybe transfat (which is fine in moderation IMO), I don't see any unhealthy ingredients. The usual burger king meal will probably not provide all needed ingredients for optimal health and body composition, but that can easily be made up for with what you eat as your next meal.

The 'champions of clean eating' were merely representing the view point that it is difficult for most of us to just have a bit of cake or chocolate or what have you. If I have a pigout day I can't just leave it at half a pack of kitkats, no I want 2. I think it is more an issue or convenience than anything else.

i don't know why people think eating pies and cake and icecream would make them fat, i have those foods everyday

I do not count calories on Sundays at all.
