What Imus said wasn't right, but it is still a double standard with Foxx. If a prominent white celebrity had said that about a famous black 16-year old girl, Sharpton would have been all over that and calling for his banishment from the entertanment industry.

I'm not really familiar with Foxx's work... haven't seen any of his movies. But after seeing him on Idol the other night, I am of the opinion that he should stick to moviemaking. WTF was he doing onstage? He's got no musical talent.
It's definitely a double standard going on... Foxx can get away with it but Imus can't. That's not right.

Imus and Jamie are two different people, and Jamie used to be very Raw at one time, it's moore like how ICe Cube was a gansta rapper, now, he's a dad in movie like "Are We There Yet"
Miley, is a lil bitch and has been carrying on for a while, and sayin' she was going to ruin another artist career (Radiohead) because they didn't cater to her, is "bitch move", 16 yrs old or not. And has done other "bitch" moves. Plus since we are not Stars, we don't know the run ins that other star have had with each other. If her father is not putting her place, i think that should real concern instead of Imus. Imus has never been funny, he's crotchy old man who is/was jealous of Howard Stern's success. Plus as stated before, imus called them Nappy-headed hoes, their har was not nappy, and I mus doesn't know that they are ho's, because he never slept with them. He doesn't even know them.
Do I think Jamie was out of line, yes, and he apologized as a father and a man. But you are too far out of touch with America today. Today kids run their parents, like they are friends, they have no fear of reprocussions or discipline, so they act and say things out of line. That a 16 yr old with money, and you get it 10x worse.

I like Fox, at least from his TV and movie work. That new song on Idol sucked (well, few musicians would like it, sounds like it was 'produced to be a hit'....the stuff I usually hate). I've heard him sing a lot better on a couple cuts from his old album. Anyway, that being said, there was still a double standard.
Imus is an idiot. He was punished too hard for what he said IMO but he's still an idiot and it was in poor taste, just like Fox's comments.

Sterns whole gimmick was an Imus ripoff.Imus is the originator of that type of show.Yes ,hes old,when he called them "nappy headed hos" he was joking and laughing.He appologised TO THEM IN PERSON.
Now,Fox not only called a 16 year old a bitch,but then said she should do porno movies and take heroin.The idea that you defend him and kill Imus is a joke.All those "girls" on Rutgers were over 18 years old,most over 20.Also,Imus said in the next breath that the Tennesse girls were cute and good looking,the starting lineup had 4 blacks,so it wasnt racial at all.

I happen to think his acting is his strongest suit. Don't know enough about his songwriting to provide any sort of credible opinion, but his acting is top calibre as far as I'm concerned. His performance in 'Ray' was out of this world!

I'm an old school republican... I supported Obama this time because I don't feel the Republican party represents my ideals any longer.

I do not support everything anyone does, but I suppose you wouldn't know anything about that. Obama does not do everything right, but he certainly hasn't committed any horrible atrocities that I feel Bush did.
