awesome pics!!!! Is Gary training at your gym full time???? I saw him at Gold's Venice a year ago and he looked big and sliced. 275lbs @ 6 percent bodyfat.
I too would like to hear more about his training!!!!! Keep the pics coming!!!!

Could you elaborate more on his training?
lot sets, he just goes! and goes! only one or two compound exercises (no isolation stuff) he trains with high intensity on every set to positive failure - 15 reps, 30 reps per set (moderately heavy weight) used with a short pumping motion, using a fixed machine (smith) for presses. I guess to reduce injury risk (he almost 50 which is hard to believe!)

Ha ha ja ;D He was doing a seminar answering questions etc. He a really awesome guy very chilled. He just loves the sport,training and what he does, which I think is awesome after all these years.

One thing I noticed when he stayed here was the amount of food the man eats..he always had a shake or plate of food in his hand. It was unreal...eats a ton a veggies too (broccoli) lots of yams and beef chicken etc.The company that sponsers me was hosting him so we hung out and trained quite a bit. Leg training was was crazy I battled to keep up! :o we did 8 x 40 rep sets on the leg press...he got 70 reps with 7 plates on each side and 50reps for 8plates each side on an almost verticle legpress...The last few he was screaming in pain! A pro who definiley trains hard! ;) ...good to see.
Anyway I gotta duck ..off to gym! Will post more Monday

Basically trained the strongest part of the rep (kept it before lockout and not all the way to full extention) on everything I saw him train. Kind of the way you see Ronnie do half rep style...seems a lot of the pros trasin that way...

MOEN is absolutely right.. i hear guys saying that they cant understand why a guy would continue doing this in his 40' ect.. well take it from a 40 something, dont speak to quick.. i said the same thing in my 20's, 30's and now in my 40's the desire is not gone.. i take much more precautions now and am a bit smarter (i hope) but, the desire is still there.. so, be careful on judging people for i was the one doing it in my 20's also.. ;)
