Title: Twink grip
Post by: Tre on May 24, 2009, 04:03:08 PM
Grip failed badly during back workout today. It was gone by my 5th set, and I don't use wraps.

Is the likely culprit a potassium deficiency? Just guessing. I'm usually 11-12 sets in before the grip begins to go.

Go hang drywall or install windows for a couple months. Problem solved plus you some make bad ass money along the way.

Do you sweat a lot? If so use some type of product with aluminium in it to keep them dry. Secondly use chalk.

try training your grip extra. grippers, rolling thunder wrist curls etc..

if you want a strong grip that is.

My grip is bad. Anything past 315 and I can't hold it more than 3-4 reps for deadlifts even with the one hand supinated grip.  :'( Need wraps

Link to any good exercises for forearms? My current favorite is the plate curl.

I bet you don't use chalk. It helps tremendously.

grippers
rolling thunder
wristcurls

and generally lifting without straps. better to use chalk if your grip starts to fail.

The likely culprit is being a pussy. Start doing a 4x10 deadlift and your grip problems will be gone. Its time to suck it up son.

 ;D

The old man told me recently that the % of alzheimers in the US is crazy high compared to elsewhere.  Also told me that flouride (frequently added to the water supply) helps aluminum cross the blood brain barrier much more easily.
