(CNN) — The Rev. Jeremiah Wright, the former Chicago pastor whose racially-charged sermons threatened to implode President Obama's primary bid last year, is again making waves over recent comments about his current relationship with the commander-in-chief.
"Them Jews aren't going to let him talk to me," Wright told Virginia newspaper The Daily Press when asked if he still spoke with Obama. "I told my baby daughter, that he'll talk to me in five years when he's a lame duck, or in eight years when he's out of office."
"They will not let him to talk to somebody who calls a spade what it is," he added. "I said from the beginning: He's a politician; I'm a pastor. He's got to do what politicians do."
The former pastor of Chicago's Trinity United Church of Christ, where Obama was a congregant for nearly two decades, also told the paper he holds no grudges against the president's very public break from Wright last year.
"He's my son. I'm proud of him," Wright said. "I've got five biological kids. They all make mistakes and bad choices. I haven't stopped loving any of them. He made mistakes. He made bad choices. I've got kids who listen to their friends. He listened to those around him. I did not disown him."
Wright, who became a lighting rod for criticism last year after members of the media unearthed controversial sermons criticizing the U.S. government, also said he has no regrets for the heated language he has used on the pulpit.
"Regret for what…that the media went back five, seven, 10 years and spent $4,000 buying 20 years worth of sermons to hear what I've been preaching for 20 years?" he said. "Regret for preaching like I've been preaching for 50 years? Absolutely none."

Obama doesn`t like Wright. In fact, I believe Obama is an atheist given that both of his parents were Atheists and he is too smart to believe in fairy tales.
Its a shame that he pretends though and he should be honest if he is an atheist.

It is not his fault that Americans are too stupid to handle a publicly avowed Atheist as President at this present time.
I do think he has done very well in dropping us atheists hints that he is either with us or one of us, especially during major speeches including his inaugural address.
Do I wish he would come out of the Atheist closet if he is in it? Yes.
Can America handle it? Nope. They are too much enthralled by their Sky God and Zombie son.

I hate with an undying passion people who think they're entitled to anything, in this country. Obama is all about that. His actions day in and day create a pool of people who are under some impression that Uncle Sam will bail them out. He will make it impossible for businesses to flurish again. Reverend Jeremiah Wright raised eyebrows yet again when he said he was no longer able to speak to President Obama because "them Jews aren't going to let him talk to me." On Sirius Radio's "Make it Plain with Mark Thompson" Thursday, he clarified.
"Let me just say, like Hillary, I misspoke. Let me just say Zionists," Wright said, before going on to delineate the difference between them and "responsible Jewish persons." He went on to discuss the Israeli government and the power of the Zionist lobby in the U.S. government, saying he was basing his words on the work of Jewish historian Marc Ellis.

Do you really believe what you've posted? Obama isn't religious in any way. The church was to appease an American public that couldn't handle a non-Christian president. Ignorant buffoons hold beliefs along the line you're insinuating, not intelligent and educated people. The fact that you can believe people think in that manner is proof of your complete lack of intelligence.
To be honest, I'm sincerely amazed that you are able to survive without assistance with the brainpower you carry around each day. Obama's book was inspired by an 1885 painting by Victorian painter George Frederic Watts entitled "Hope", and Reverend Frederick G. Sampson of Detroit, Michigan. In his convocation speech at Virginia Union University School of Theology, Sampson spoke of the piece, as being a study in contradictions because what is depicted as the title and what is on the canvas seems to be in direct opposition one to the other. Very much like the United States herself over the past century, and the life paths of her inhabitants.
“Hope” shows a woman sitting on top of the world playing a harp. Now at first glance, that would be all right, for what more enviable position could one ever hope to achieve than being on top of the world with the whole world, everything and everyone dancing to your music. But when you look closer at the picture, when the illusion of power gives way to the reality of pain the world at which this woman sits, our world, that is a world which is torn by war, destroyed by hate, devastated by despair and devastated by distrust. The world on which she sits is on the very brink of destruction. Famine ravishes millions of the inhabitants of this world in one hemisphere while feasting and gluttony are enjoyed by inhabitants of another hemisphere. A time bomb ticking is the world on which she sits with apartheid in one hemisphere and apathy in the other hemisphere and enough nuclear warheads scientists tell us, to wipe out all forms of life except for cockroaches, ...and that is the world on which this woman sits.
A world which cares about more bombs for the enemy than it does about bread for the hungry. A world that is still more concerned about the color of skin than it is about the content of character. A world more finicky about the texture of hair or what is on the outside of your head than it is about the quality of education or what is on the inside of one’s head. That is the world on which this woman sits. You and I think of being on top of the world as being in heaven, but when you look at the woman in Watt’s painting a little closer what you discover is that this woman is in Hell. And that artist Watt dares to entitled the painting “Hope.”
"Then, on top of that, she’s sitting there in rags. Tattered clothes as if she herself has been in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Her head is bandaged and her blood is beginning to seep through the bandages. Scars and cuts are visible on her face, her arms and her legs. That’s when you look closer at the picture. And the instrument, on which she plays, her harp, has all but one of its strings broken, torn or ripped out. Even the instrument has been damaged by what she has been though and she is even more the example of quiet despair than anything else. Yet, the artist dares entitle the painting “Hope.”

This very same painting on display at London's Guildhall Art Gallery and it's analysis by Reverend Sampson, was also instrumental in inspiring a sermon by Rev. Wright entitled "The Audacity to Hope." Obama's book is entitled "The Audacity of Hope".
If anyone or anything is to be given credit for inspiring both book & sermon, it could more accurately be assessed to George Watts' painting, Rev. Sampson, and the very state of the Union.

Iraq, Afghanistan, Georgia, Haiti, Sudan, Pakistan, India, Myanamar, Cuba, North Korea, etc etc...all of these and more are his problems now. He can at any moment stop the unlawful attack on Iraq, Afghanistan and US subversive involvement in many nations affairs. As it stands he continues what Bush began and is therefore responsible for the consequences.
