Title: Where to buy jeans?
Post by: aglifter on September 06, 2009, 11:44:49 AM
Where can I find jeans that fit?

I spent two hours in the mall today and I couldn't find a single pair of jeans that I could I pull up past my thighs.

I have size 32 waist but 27" legs (which isn't even big), but loose fit jeans won't even fit.

Where do big people buy jeans?  I just want something that I can put on.

I've been wearing shorts for awhile now:  I am desperate.

I have a hard time finding jeans that fit my thighs. Sometimes Abercrombie & Fitch jeans fit decently

Haha, you're a good sport dude, these fucks are lighting your ass up and you're taking it all in stride.  I actually have that problem with jeans off the rack myself and my legs are smaller then yours(29 3/4" waist, 25 1/2" thighs).  I got some jeans from the Gap that fit pretty good, although I had to get a size 34" waist, I just let em' sag a little bit and wear a belt.  I tried a pair on in Macy's yesterday, 34x32, I couldn't even get the fuckers up over my ass.  I was pissed too cause they were like $20, I'm a cheap bastard ;D

Yes, Macys is where I get them, not over the top on pricing and they fit me well.

Just get jeans that are bigger in the waist and have them tailored.  Mek makes great jeans that fit well and some pretty sweet cargo pants/shorts, 1921 Jeans are also good and I wear those a lot.  Jet Lag makes some cool cargo pants that fit well. Christian Audigier also makes pretty decent jeans that have fit me well.

you are an idiot. Buy a size bigger than your waist and wear a belt. They won't fall off or anything. You're not tom platz or ronnie coleman so don't think you're a special person that has to have clothes made just for your gigantic proportions.

If Frankhouser can wear jeans then you can too.

American Eagle has a couple of styles that I wear, not as expensive as Abercrombie either. Sometimes Gap will run a fit that works too. But both places you can buy 2 of the same fucking fit jeans and one pair will fit and one wont so I always have to try every pair on.

rock n republic jeans

Different jean manufacturers have different dimensions.
I usually wear Lucky Brand jeans, and have a few different pairs. Both are 34x36, one boot cut and the other loose fit. The Loose fit is best for me, and seems to allow my legs plenty of room and I can bend up and down if something is on the ground. The boot cut is too loose around the waist and I have to double fold the waist over with a belt, but it looks stupid if I have a shorter shit on.
Rock the Republic jeans, I couldn't even get the same size as the Lucky Brand on! My legs wouldn't even fit into them. Mavi had some jeans that felt great, but the waist was a bit too wide and the amount of fabric that was folded over was too much, and I couldn't have them tailored.
I notice that a lot of the higher end jeans out there have much thinner legs. If you're David Hasselhoff you're good, but most anyone that squats a decent amount of weight correctly needs something with more leg room.

It's easier to find that jeans that fit than dress pants.

Just get loose fitting ones and two sizes up on the waist and use a belt.  I usually get them from Buffalo.

For dress pants I go made-to-measure  8)

I've had teh same 2 pair of jeans for the past 8-10 years....Levi Strauss 550's blue and grey. These things are great. I also hear Wrangler jeans are pretty damn comfortable. Brett Favre has massive quadz .....so. Stay away from the Gaps, A&F, pretty boy stores like these. They only accomodate emo, skinny-boy twinks like James Phoenix.

WTF, you lose your Getbig Broskie pass for that!!!

Actually, for your jeans do you go for loose for boot cut or baggy? Whether it be for waist, legs, or butt, you have to buy for your dimensions. Me, as my mother had to tell me way back in high school, as a black man, I have to buy for butt, not my waist. So some baggy jeans will fit my waist, but not the butt.

Deisel jeans are pretty good, and Old Navy as well. Both are on on two extremes of the price scale, though.

My ass is definitely the bottleneck, I have a huge ass so anything that fits my waist, i can't even get up to my waist.

Also, not sure what this is, but losing it... maybe not that bad.  Is that like a schmoe pass?

No it means that you can't  be with the getbiggers, you see we all date supermodels and video vixens, drive Mercedes SLRs to the cleaners, and Ferrari Enzos to pick up groceries. We have 50 room mansions with helicopter pads, and a hot woman to tongue clean our ball-sack before and after we pee.

Yeah, what can I say, I'm on a low budget, she's does a good job, I'm fond of her--she's a keeper. Besides, nowadays ball sack cleaners are very hard to find, especially ones that good and enjoy their job.
