Each evening I battle post workout lameness... Look, no pump, no vascularity.. What can be done for this?
My physique want's to rest and recover.
8 meals each day which seems to help, but it takes me a night to recover still.
It's OK though, it's easy for me, and I'm only going to keep and improve. So if I enter pro ranks naturally... one day... but for what?
-
so what exactly is your question? ;D
-
How to avoid going flat and lame after long workout days. Thanks.

You are younger than I thought. I pictured a pale, skinny, middle-aged guy who's into "New age", lol

This sends shills down my spine though.. some nights I take a walk instead though, so I know how to mix it up!
It's just that later, at night when everything is quiet down, if I haven't battled valiantly in the gym that day, the darkness starts to consume me and nestle it's way into my brain somehow. And it starts to fuck me up.
-
I hear what you're saying. I have a friend who does this constant overtraining thing because he's done it so long he feels like a failure if he doesn;t half-kill himself every day. But he doesn;t progress so clearly his nervous system has other ideas than his brain about how much is too much.; Training hard and training smart are two different things. Dorian did about 3.5 hours total in the gym each week and was bigger and better by far than all the guys doing a million hours a day in the gym.

So you burned 1100 calories in 1 hour? ???
-
do not ask for advices when you re a fucking noob, do your researches by yourself and experiment.
Congrats on making a fool of yourself.

yeah? was relaxing watching Stargate Universe at the time. I try not to over do it. I can go much harder.
I'm using the standard Schwinn Airdyne. It seems popular with athletes. Every other cardio equipment I tried destructs within a year. I went through 20 different junk before this one. It can even handle sprinting. No other cardio bike or machine handled this very well in my experience.

I do.
One thing I know is this bodybuilder said he only ate some beans but drank tons of soft drinks through out the day and he looked incredible to say the least. Was on palumbo radio show, now who's the fool?

I just had one of my greatest leg workout ever for only 25-30 minutes after sleeping 4 to 5 hours. Just thought I throw that in here. I must be doing something write. Cardio is actually helping me recover. And some days I take a walk instead. I think I'm at the right workout level now for a fact. So Cardio through out the week except 2 days just a walk. Workout short preferable always less than 30 minutes, 2 times per day. Legs worked out every other day (3-4) per week. I would not do more than this.
Maybe this info can save someone else some trouble. I basically been trying everything out, what works, what doesn't, for other to have it easier.

Lift heavy, eat food and be consistent.
Everything else is crap. Supplements: crap. Crazy workout routines: crap. Eating 8 times a day: crap.
Your body will hit its genetic limit very quickly. Any great effort to go beyond isn't worth the price, time or energy.
Except for juice... best bang for the buck. But, even then, your genetics will determine your results.

For sure Johnny Falcons theory holds completely true to high degree. I always suspected the same myself.

your not eating enough fat protien or beer if you want to continue ON this pace you are training at currently, eat these and you will be able to resume, have some junkfood too, once you resume on these foods semi junk protiens like burritos pizza ect you will fill out like crazy and look bigger
you workout simply drained all your stores
the body wants to make it self bigger and leaner NOT smaller and ripped
-
you got great lines and epic leans
but now your body wants to be bigger
keep training at this pace
also try to add in some things yes more volume= naturally less sleep because of more food intake aswell
beer to help keep you awake but eat with your beer
-
3rd meal, only beer missing.

With enough fats it is almost impossible to over train.

egg white, spinach, olive oil I usually put some cheese in there too.
The meals with berries are just some oats, some oil and erythritol-sugar / stevia to reduce the acidity from berries, 1 table spoon whey, 1 table spoon rice protein, 1 table spoon pea protein .
Beans I just eat with a table spoon of riceprotein and some oil.
that's what I rely on most.
I forgot the 1 or 2 steamed sweet potatoes a day.
-
I always have a bag of Hershey chocolate chips that I snack on once in awhile through out the day to keep energy up. And raw cacao powder with the meal before a workout.

Found some old creatine yesterday I'm gonna use up, and see if it makes a difference.

I wonder if this cardio I'm currently on makes me lose some muscle size and hardness. Should only be temporarily till I recover from the workout though.

Do you work out with Pumpster?
-
Yes all the time.... ;D
-
Eat 1 gram of protein for each Ibs of your bodyweight
Eat 0.5 gram of carbs for each Ibs of your bodyweight
Have at least 6 grams of healthy fat such as (Olive Oil, Fish oil & Flaxseed Oil) a day
Drink at least 4 liters of water a day (after meals & during working out)
Maximum period of cardio a day = 90 mints (better to be divided in two sessions 45 mints in the morning & 45 mints after weight training in evening)
Maximum period of weight training a day = 60 mints.
Apply these roles for one month and then tell me how you feel ;)

I think I might be doing it like somewhere around that. Yes I feel strong and good over all. So it must work better than anything I have tried before! Thought I have been bigger and harder before.
Found and old pic from over a year ago!,

Wish I remember what I was doing back then, I think I was eating meat though, but I feel much better and healthier now without it. And I don't think that makes a difference for the better. I know I used to eat really high fat diet back then, at least 250g a day however didn't feel that good from it.

Rami, what's with the walker in the background bro?
Haha, I got two of them!
Really, they are for keeping carpets clean.
