due to money reasons, and to the fact that im starting to think supplements are a scam, I've dropped all supplements from my diet
all i take now are:
protein powder
fish oil
joint supp
multi vit
and some minerals
Should I even take multi vitamins anymore? i hear a lot about not needing them if u eat healthy?
how many of you skip the fancy supps??

always clear at max one zit that quickly dries up to a scab and falls off within a day due to high amounts of grapejuices vitamin c content

Multi's are good...but I would recommend not taking them every day...maybe every two or three days.

Joint pill, fish oil, multivitamin.... ::). U r on a good way, but u need to learn to skip the rest to. The whole supplement industry is fucking fake. But my personal experience is that it take about 10 years for people to realize that. Which is very sad! Eat your carrot, your orange, your apple, your vegetable, your chicken, tuna, meat, rice, tomato, fish, potatoes...and your workout will feel great.

the form from grapejuice and kale greens elimitates/dissolves pimples

All supps are useless except perhaps protein powder imo. I am not as big as some of the mass monster hopkido champions that post here though.

Multi's are good...but I would recommend not taking them every day...maybe every two or three days.

You need a multi, you can't get all of your required amounts of vitamins and minerals through food, especially for someone who works out and is active.

I've quit taking all supplements too except for: protein powder, multi-vitamins, vanadyl sulfate, mdrol, mass tabs, NO Shotgun, Nitro Tech, creatine, L glutamine, glucosamine, nano vapor, hydroxycut, and redline
other than that all supps are shit

i buy all of my vitamins and minerals seprately. i have a bottle of vitamin e capsules, a bottle of vitamin a , vitmin k, vitamin c, calcium, magneisum, zinc, boron, chromium, b-1, b-2, b-3, b-4, b-...etc.,.. etc , etc.
i take 200% RDA for every single vitmain and mineral.

If you eat healthy you only need to take a multi every now and then. Daily recommended dosages are very much higher in the states than western Europe (industry lobby perhaps).
Perhaps use some basic protein powder (one or two small shakes a day max!)
I would recommend fish oil, there's so much research now that points to its benefits.

multi vitamin 1 after my largest meal of the day
omega 3 capsules, 5 with breakfast 5 before sleep
2 oranges daily
1 apple
2 large tablespoons of olive oil or rice bran oil daily
raw eggs daily
mince meat,chicken,salmon or tuna
peanut butter,
edit lots of green tea , I fill up a 3 litre bottle with tap water throw in about 4 green tea bags and throw it in fridge
just swig out of it whenever thirsty also take to the gym with me

I"m guessing that you have bad acne. All your posts revolve around it (or at least mention it).
It's probably just your age. Are you under 30? Relax. It will go away all on it's own in due time. It's hormonal and nothing else. Don't listen to ppl that tell you it's diet related cause it's not.

i used to have real bad acne till i cleaned up my diet
my face has been real clear for a while now but every now and then ill get the occasional little zit
the only supps i took were xtend powder, amino acids, and a nitric oxide pre workout drink-and my face was ok with them-but i just got sick of paying money for them and having to take em all the time...plus i figure if i just have a good pro shake right before lifting then why in the world would i need more amino acids??

You don't. They make minimal difference and are OK to take if you have a sponsoring company who gives them to you for free or if you don't mind spending the money.
You get all the amino acids you need from your shake and the protein you eat in your meals.

There are some newer studies that show a pretty stronger link between foods with a high "glycemic index" (basically processed sugary shit) and acne. I wouldn't dismiss diet entirely.

What supplements have you "dropped"? Afterall, everything you're taking is pretty much what you'd need most the time.

for me as long as i eat low carb im ok-if i eat a lotta carbs i break out

Natural all that shit is a scam. You don't even need a multi vitamin. If you eat a reasonably good diet you will be fine. It is all a marketing scam to make money. Look at people who have lived to be 115 or so years old, they didn't take multi vitamins or supplements, just food.
Also if you want to get real results get on the juice, injects, once or twice a week and you will wonder why you ever spent that money on supplements. Juice is cheaper as well as all those supplements.

Natural, why not drop ALL supplements, multi and whey included for 3 months and see if it makes any difference. Just stick to healthy clean food.
report back and tell us if your body composition changed enough to warrant taking supplements again. I take whey but only as a meal replacement when I am short on time and so forth.
maybe some of the older guys can chime in on this...did the average gym goer use "supplement" in the 70s?

You can ditch the protein powder too dude... it's not really necessary if you have a decent appetite... i ditched protein powder not too long ago and haven't lost any muscle... i prefer it too... i do egg whites twice a day, chicken once, beef once... large portions of each and usually get around 240-260g protein from those each day... more than I need.

i dont have acne right now-my face is completely clear-thank goodness-i just have to watch my diet so i dont get any breakouts-its like living on a tight rope above a canyon-one bad choice w my diet and i break out easily
