These types of individuals are plentiful on bodybuilding websites but due to their diets and their genetics they are clearly wasting their time. Which one of these two groups of people do you hate/pity more. Is either of them more pathetic or are they equally pathetic.

I fall into the fat guy group...But no fucking skinny twink on this site could dream of my lifts. I chose to be fat because I liked food, didn't give a fuck about looking awesome anymore (happens after 10 years of marriage).

Well since I have covered the entire spectrum from being to skinny as a kid (130 in high school) to being in great shape to being a fat pig I can speak out of actual experience. First off being fat is the worse thing possible. I don't give a shit what any fat person says about being happy and whatever, they are lying. There is not one good thing about being fat. The kids on here who make fun of my fatness have no idea what I have been through and its the many more people on here that PM me or email me or call me on the phone that I respect and listen too. I read some of the remarks on here from the kids about how easy it is to lose the fat but in reality it isn't that easy. You talk out of your ass with absolutely NO experience. And you are lucky for now. Everyone unless you were born fat can stay in pretty good shape when young. You guys have NO idea what it is like once you hit 40 or 50. Alot of things change. You talk like you are going to be in shape your whole life. You even rag on Arnold or Louie or others who aren't in the shape they were when younger because you are stupid and young and have no idea. When I was young I thought I was invincible too. The difference between you and me is I proved it by doing something with my body, All you guys do is talk shit on the internet. Anyone can do what you do. Most of the guys on here are cool and know what they are talking about. It is just a few that post shit and talk shit while hiding behind the computer never showing us what they really look like. It is those people who really have no clue and are pathetic. If being fat is what you want to be then great, if being a skinny twink is your thing then great. If you are concerned with impressing mostly anonymous posters on GetBig than it's better to be huge and preferably strong. If you are concerned about health, functional/athletic ability, and overall attractiveness to people in your real life it's better to be lean. Remember, in general society most people are fat and they always have some degree of concern on how to lose weight and envy those that are thin.

Nah. I'm early 40's and still look good and it's pretty easy to maintain. It's a lifestyle. Most people just don't have the dedication to staying fit and tend to let themselves go.

The guy had a serious injury. I've seen the pics and it ain't pretty. And it's an injury that effects your over all health and effected his ability to train. It's not like he just one day got lazy. Life can really throw you curve ball that just fucks everything up.

I can understand that. Coming home from seeing ACDC last summer a drunk driver ran a red light and we t-boned her. We got off lucky, relatively speaking, but I couldn't work out for almost 3 months. It was pink dumbbell time for me, haha. It would be very easy to have a debilitating injury which would prevent someone from exercising fully.

right now I feel worn out, don't have the same kind of energy, motivation or drive I had at 21.. I'm starting to get aches and pains all over, don't have that some pop or zest when I get out of bed in the morning, it's truly depressing, I can't even imagine what 40's gonna feel like :-X :-X

+1 on that brother...same boat. Rugby since I was 14, heavy lifting since 18 (college)...at 32 I just don't recover / heal the way I use to. My diet is where i noticed the most drastic change. Back then I could eat ANYTHING and still gain muscle while keeping almost no BF..now I barely look at sugar / grease and gain fat. I'm as active if not more active than I was back then on top of it all! Now I get aches ..especially on rainy days in the hips and knees.
Aging sucks.

The difference is i chose not to post pictures and get others involved in the shitpit that is getbig.
The same reason you don't post pictures of your wife is why i don't post pictures of what i do in my personal life.
Im 6.2 and 205lbs, faily lean with some abs visible, as i said previously im going for the athletic/greek statue physique which is easy to maintain, i don't care about looking like a bodybuilder.
Still i can deadlift 405 for 8 reps and curl 60lbs dumbells for 8 reps with good form so im no weakling. Remember the pictures you keep posting are from 8 months ago, i have made noticeable improvements since then.

I always trained hard in the last 5 years. I was 150lbs when i began, extrem skinny. Now I'm 200. Not a huge improvement, and in the last 2 years i always got gradually harder and more shredded, but didn't get lot more mass. Basically because i lost interest in the diet part of the bodybuilding. I could get most of the hot college girls on my university, whats the point of getting bigger? :) But i like weightlifting, and really enjoy training and beat my halfassed personal records :) Im not some delluisonal american kid, who thinks he will be the next Levrone, when he is 6'3" hardgainer and has long limbs... I just like training. Thats it.

Considering that the average height for a typical over fed American male is 5'9" at 6'3" 247 lbs you are enormous by conventional standards. More "depth" to your physique is a perfect description.

Hair! For the first and last time in my life I'm growing a beard.
I'm doing it for Helldorado Days which is a big celebration here in Las Vegas.
I hate it though because it itches like hell and when I look in the mirror the first thing in the morning I get the feeling that my head is on upside down.
I've always had way too much hair on the top of my head but the military solved that problem real fast and that was the only day of my life that I saw so many Jarheads cry all together when getting off that barber chair.
At that precise moment the DI knew we'd be a good group to get squared away under his tutaledge.

LOL! I'm in my late forties and have been on HRT when I turned 40. That puts my test levels at high normal so I would and have passed any drug test (I was once tested after an event). But I'm not too caught up in the idea of natural. Very little we do it natural. The way we get our food, clothes and shelter. Balancing a weighted barbell on your shoulders and squatting to the floor is hardly natural. We evolved as we have by conquering nature.
And my skin isn't really that bad except when I'm sun burnt like I was when I first posted pics last October. That was the first impression pics so that burnt skin stuck. No one ever comments on my skin in real life and I started asking friends that I knew would be honest.
Also, when it's hot, and it pretty much always is in Hawaii. I get extremely vascular. It shows up in pics as bumpy skin. Veins are OK but most people don't lack vascularity. Here's a pic where you see that my stomach and chest looks "bumping". Those are actually little veins. I should take a pic at night with the air conditoner on.

Dude, I'm an Octoroon. We might just be related. And I don't really view any race per se favorably or unfavorably but rather their culture. I tend to look favorably on Japanese not because they are Japanese but because their culture tends to make them very polite, considerate and respectful. Living in Cali for over 15 years I really grew to respect and admire first generation Mexicans. Hardest workers I've ever seen. Never complain. Mind their own business. Devout Catholics and always family first and last. But by time you get to the 3rd generation Americanized Mexicans it's another story. Punks and freeloaders. If you are concerned with impressing mostly anonymous posters on GetBig than it's better to be huge and preferably strong. If you are concerned about health, functional/athletic ability, and overall attractiveness to people in your real life it's better to be lean. Remember, in general society most people are fat and they always have some degree of concern on how to lose weight and envy those that are thin.

I haven't tried it since. I was just feeling good that day and told my buddy to try it. I've been doing majority Incline and hammerstrength to work on chest size vs. strength. My chest needs lots of improvement. It's not craig titus bad but it could be better for how strong I am.
I guess next time I'm do chest I could try depending on my energy level.

When you're older, you have to work just as hard to be skinny as you did to be huge when you were young. Since I'm 34, I think it's better to be skinny.

Nah - Not built for strongman. Joints are tiny etc plus don't have the equipment.
We do have a log in my gym that you can load up. thats about it.
I just like lifting weights and getting bigger/stronger. When i was younger thought and done a tiny bit of PLing though never really enjoyed it. Almost considered BBuilding then realised I don't have the dedication etc to do so.
