The guys obssesed, hes started dozens of threads and put thousands of posts dissing Fedor. Are you Dana White?
-
By the way Randy C said this week Fedor is the greatest MMAer of all time. My guess is he knows more than "mindspin" about MMA
-

Mindspin is a moron. His opinion matters as much as the shit you take each morning. He pretends to be some MMA expert or something. Just to let you know he idolizes Goodrum and Apenis so you can see how fucked up he is.

Nevar!!!11 Mindspin is teh uber leet ufc fanboy of all time!!! He knows more than all teh experts!!!

I know what you mean, im only a casual fan of MMA, i much prefer boxing but even i know the majority of what he says about MMA is at best inaccurate and at worst complete BS.
-
Mindspin is upset that Fedor never sold out and never bent over for Dana. Fedor chooses not to shop at the Walmart of MMA and Mindspin hates him for it. That is the only reason. He runs a gimmick on the mma board called 'WeightPSHR' so that it will look like someone other than himself shares his views.
-

The signature under his avatar says it all "Fedor finally EXPOSED". Hey mindspin, please explain that...or can you? Dude lost his first fight in TEN YEARS because he made a mistake not because he was out of shape or lost his skills....WTF is the matter you and people like you. Makes me think you're COMPLETELY clueless.
-
Going by Mindspins logic then Brock was exposed in his first fight with Mir!
-
Maybe he insulted Mindspuns flamenco dancing...

There is a lot of confusion about my opinion on Fedor. Let me clarify:
Most consider Fedor the greatest heavyweight & P4P fighter of all time. Some consider him the best today. I disagree. I believe he is one of the best heavyweights of all time. I don't believe he is a top five P4P. And I don't believe he is a top 5 heavyweight today. Why? Because of the 31 fights he has won, more than half were against non-names that no one knows about. Let's take a look:
1. Has anyone ever heard of these guys or taken a look at their fight records? Martin Lazarov, Levon Lagvilava, Hiroya Takada, Mihail Apostolov, Kerry Schall, Ryushi Yanagisawa, Lee Hasdell, Chris Haseman, Semmy Schilt, Egidijus Valavicius, Yuji Nagata, Naoya Ogawa, Wagner Martins, Hong Man Choi. These are all people that Fedor beat. Most of these guys have more losses on their records than they do wins. Some only have ONE fight on their record!
2. How about two other guys that Fedor beat: Renato Sobral & Matt Linland. Neither of these guys are heavyweights and Fedor couldn't finish Renato, and he held on to the ropes when Matt (a middle weight) went for the takedown.
3. Who has Fedor beaten in the last couple of years? Past their prime fighters like Tim Silvia and complete Cans like Hong Man Choi, whose record is 2 wins and 3 losses.
4. Fedor has been heavily criticized for avoiding the top competition in and out of the UFC. In spite of the UFC offering him more money than anyone ever has, he chose to stay out and continue to fight carefully selected opponents. He even ducked the Alistar Overreem fight claiming that he didn't want to fight him because he was on steroids. Alistar has never tested positive. Fedor had no problem fighting Tim Silvia who has tested positive.
5. Fedor just lost to a guy who was cut from the UFC after being KTFO by Junior Dos Santos.
Bottom line. Half of Fedor's wins are over no name cans. He has been ducking top competition for the last three years. And he just lost to a UFC reject who was ranked #10. When you add it all up, Fedor was a good heavyweight. But, the greatest ever? I don't think so.
-
Going by Mindspins logic then Brock was exposed in his first fight with Mir!
I don't think Brock is the best and I believe he will be KOd by Carwin this weekend.
-
I can see Mindspin's argument about how ALOT of Fedor's record is padded by RINGS fights
-
I can see Mindspin's argument about how ALOT of Fedor's record is padded by RINGS fights
I think that during 2002-2005, Fedor was the best, no question. He fought and beat all the best heavyweights of that time.

The guys obssesed, hes started dozens of threads and put thousands of posts dissing Fedor. Are you Dana White?
Because Fedor would obliterate all of his favorite fighters- in one night!
-
I love this out of Russian pronunciation EaMIEALIEANEANKOU, way to slow
You were saying? :-X
-
The only thing that makes sense is that he may have a vested interest in the UFC. Im never one to believe conspiracy theories like that but it makes sense.
Dana White is a bitch, a whiny, arrogant bitch, but he is a smart business man.
Fedor just refused to be Dana's bitch and its funny how some people dont understand how a man can put his principals over money. :P
-
When you can see Fedor in flesh take notice of his arms and face, take a closer look
-

Funny how you have all but disappeared from the MMA board after Fedor got demolished by a #10 ranked HW.
The problem I have with Fedor is that he was fighting UFC rejects and #10 ranked HW's to defend his title.
In the end, it bit him in the ass. Not only did he lose, he lost to a #10 ranked guy. That hurts more than just a loss.
Poor Fedor, got exposed this past weekend, and most likely will never recover his top ranking in current polls.
-

Too bad we'll never find out, since he keeps avoiding them ::)

Really? I have a vested interest in the UFC because I don't think Fedor is the best ever ::)

And what is your vested intrest?
-
Too bad we'll never find out, since he keeps avoiding them ::)
Forget about Fedor IDIOT (though a mod), there will be another fighter from Russia
-
And what is your vested intrest?
I want one dominant organization so that we have undisputed champs & unified rules. Whether it's the UFC or any other doesn't matter. It's that simple.
-

Fedor was exposed this past weekend. His record is padded and his last several fights have been against UFC rejects right off their shit-canning from the UFC. Sylvia, Arvloski, Werdum....except Werdum didn't buy into the mystique, but he is a UFC reject.
Fedor was the best of an era. That era has been gone since the new breed of HW's have come into the sport.
-
Going by Mindspins logic then Brock was exposed in his first fight with Mir!
Possibly, but Brock is also in an organization with the most top ranked HW fighters, making himself available to fight the best in the world.
The thing you cry baby Fedor fans fail to realize is that there are MANY top ranked fighters in the UFC HW division. Brock is just one of them.
My stance is that by dodging the UFC, Fedor is dodging the MAJORITY of the top ranked HW fighters in the world. This is proven by the rankings.
Did anyone really care to see him fight Rodgers or Werdum? The viewership numbers prove nobody really cared.
The only reason anyone wanted to see his fights with Arvloski and Sylvia is because they were fresh off being shit canned from the UFC, and they were still big names.

If Fedor fought the same guys as Velasquez and Carwin did to build their resume's you would claim he is fighting cans. None of those guys have fought anyone decent.
Velasquez beat a 5 years past his prime nog, carwin beat frank mir LOL.
Add a bunch of other no-namers to their record and their you go. You could cry forever if Fedor fought the same guys as them

Why are you still trying to compare Fedor to the current top HW's.
Fedor was exposed this weekend by a UFC reject that was ranked #10.
Fedor is irrelevant after the loss he took. Get over it, really.
-
so who was better?
E
Fedor is no longer ranked #1. Get over it.
He will never retain the #1 ranking until he stops fighting UFC rejects.

AGREE 100%...AS A MATTER OF FACT YOU COULD COMBINE BROCKS,CARWINS AND CAIN'S RECORDS AND THEY STILL WOULDN'T HAVE AS MANY LEGIT OPPONENTS AS FEDOR HAS FOUGHT...

Irrelevant after one loss? Oh brother... ::)

Doesn't really matter what Fedor has done in the past, as that era has been gone for years and this past weekend the last bit of respect he was getting off of those sham fights was taken away.
Justice prevailed.
There are many HW's waiting to earn the #1 spot by fighting the best.
-
Irrelevant after one loss? Oh brother... ::)
In regards to the top ranked HW....Yes. He is irrelevant.
Besides, For a #1 ranked HW fight, the viewership numbers were pitiful.
Nobody cares about Fedor anymore. This is 2010.

Fedor fought just regular people, get over it, there is a new era!

Really? I have a vested interest in the UFC because I don't think Fedor is the best ever ::)
No, because I pay attention and I know you are quite business savvy, are quite successful in whatever field you are in, and that its rumored that Dana White takes care of people who mod MMA forums to promote UFC. Thats why it makes sense. And because of the way you argue and fight, like you are some sort of authority on MMA. lol.
I wouldnt put it past Dana, it seems to me like hes trying to make the UFC a sort of scripted "real" version of the WWE. I called it a long time ago, when Brock got sick, I said, watch, hes gonna go out, everyones got think hes done, Dana's gonna make it all dramatic and then hes gonna come back and have this huge "come back" so everyone loves him, and he'll be the undisputed Heavy Champion and all the fans will adore him cause hes the comeback kid. Just my .02.

IF Fedor beats the shit out of that guy from Brazil and retire is he ok?

FACT: Fedor is NO LONGER ranked #1. That is all that really matters to true MMA fans.
Justice prevailed this past weekend, and Fedor got bit in the ass for fighting a #10 ranked guy.
The rest is subjective and I could really care less.

Who is currently a Pro Wrestler in the UFC?

Before the fight Werdum was #10 & you complained that he was a can & shouldn't even be ranked & had no business being in the ring with Fedor. Now he beat Fedor straight up & you say he is a legit #2 and is a better fighter???

Bro, I assure you, I have ZERO affiliation with the UFC. I can't stand Dana White and if you watch me as close as you say you do, You'd know that I think he is a prick.
As for the UFC being scripted...come on ::) Think of how many mega fights have been lost. Mir/Lesnar III, Liddell/Crocop, Liddel/Wandy (while in their primes), etc. If they were scripted, these fights would have happened, and they would have made millions.
As for Brock, it has been proven that he had a serious case of diverticulitis. In fact, he will be fighting 15lbs lighter this weekend. I have a feeling that he is not really 100%.

He 's right

Dude, do yourself a favor and research shit before you open your mouth and come off like an ignorant moron.
No, you need to do your research bro! AC statements are right on.
Cain fought Cheick & Ben(who is avarage @ best) the rest are all bottom brawlers
Carwin fought Mir, Gonzaga(who is proving to be way overated) & Wellisch (who is also a bottom brawler)
And about your "who has heard of half these guys Fedor has fought" well, I have.
Chris Haseman Is a legit opponent that could end anyone if he is in his right frame of mind.
Bobby Hoffman = legit
Matt Lindland - Please Matt would make you shit your pampers in public if you ever got into it.
Wagner Martins - who the fuck is that??
need I go on?
-
He 's right
Fedor fought the worse possible cans when starting his career. Just look at his first few wins:
*Martin Lazarov - zero wins 2 losses
*Levon Lagvilava - zero wins 2 losses
*Hiroya Takada - one win 3 losses
*Mihail Apostolov - zero wins 1 loss
That's a freaking embarrassment!

Funny how you have all but disappeared from the MMA board after Fedor got demolished by a #10 ranked HW.

UFC rejects? Didnt Werdum destroy 2 of Dana Whites up and comer prospects everyone was hailing as the next 2 guys to beat Fedor? Werdum holds wins over Vera, Gonzaga (someone Carwin barely made it through once let alone twice!) , Aleks E, Overeem, and more. STOP trying to brainwash people with this "UFC reject" shit. Never once did I say Werdum was less of a fighter then Fedor.
All I said was rankings wise, Fedor had no business fighting a #10 ranked guy. Regardless of who they are.
I have also called Werdum a UFC reject fresh off a shit-canning.
Again, this does not mean he is not better than Fedor.
You are assuming way too much in my posts.

Werdum was let got by the UFC. That is a UFC REJECT.
Got ii?
Besides, that reject just outed Fedor too. He couldn't cut it in the UFC, but he demolished Fedor.
What does that say?

WallMart, Burger King, Mcdonals, UFC, its all the same...

A HIGHLY decorated college wrestler and an outstanding fighter is ranked #1.
Who is currently a Pro Wrestler in the UFC?
Besides, Pro Wrestling is performance/entertainment. Has nothing to do with MMA.
4-1 what?
-
That's how you start a fighting career ,look at Carwin's record out of 12 fights 10 were cans.
Carwin wasn't ranked #1 with those victories either.
So how can you call him over rated?
-
Werdum was let got by the UFC. That is a UFC REJECT.
Got ii?
Besides, that reject just outed Fedor too. He couldn't cut it in the UFC, but he demolished Fedor.
What does that say?
Hahah Chael Sonnen was a UFC reject now he's fighting for the UFC ''title''
-
4-1 what?
Impressive that he has been beating guys that have been doing this their whole lives.
And at HW too? Dammmmm that is impressive!

He earned that shot by beating UFC guys. Besides he has been with zuffa since 2007.

Werdum has even stated that he slipped.
So now he's a liar because he demolished your sham super hero?

He earned that shot by sucking Dana's cock

Pat Miletich: I watched in amazement as Fedor was submitted by Fabricio Werdum. My heart sank not for Fedor but for the reality of perfection that is not attainable in the sport of MMA. All experienced fighters know you’re going to lose if you’re fighting world-class opponents, but Fedor was different.
I remember when he came on the scene in the Rings organization. My fighters and I were competing there during the dark years of the UFC. Nobody even noticed Fedor at first, but that soon changed. He was wrecking name fighters standing up and on the ground. I found it puzzling how this guy, short and average looking, was able to beat guys like Ricardo Arona.
We all know what followed, as Fedor would go on to mow through great fighters in their prime in the Pride organization.
Today on all the forums, Twitter and Facebook, people are saying they knew he wasn't the best fighter in the world. Really? All I can say is, he wasn't (Saturday) night.
Fabricio Werdum was insistent in his interview that Fedor is the best in the world. I respect Fabricio for saying this. This shows true class from a true world-class fighter, and Werdum is a true fighter. What Fedor said was something only a man like he could say. Fedor said, "A man that does not fall, does not stand up.”
I just wonder who out of all those who are so critical of this man will stand in front of him when he stands back up?
unlike a jackass former paper champ, pat sums up my feelings perfectly in a way I could'nt. Pat= total class no wonder dana hates him

This is a subjective topic for sure....Everyone has an opinion.
What is FACT is that FEDOR IS NOT CURRENTLY RANKED #1.
That's all that matters in the end. If he earns it back by fighting top ranked guys, then he will have earned it.

LMFAO how many "top guys" has Cain, Brock, and Carwin fought? How do you know they are the top guys if they havent fought anyone legit? JDS is the ONLY proven top HW in the UFC, right now!
To be the best in the world you must fight the best in the world. The current UFC HW champ has never fought international competition ie anyone from another country. Lesnar is not even the best HW in the UFC, let alone the world lol. Same goes to Carwin, if he beats Lesnar this weekend he still hasnt proven to be the best in the WORLD. So far all im seeing is untested American HWs fighting other untested American HWs. YOU HAVE NO ARGUMENT here so just give up. JDS is the ONLY proven top HW in the UFC right now PERIOD!

Hey Fudgepacker thinks he is the know it all in the UFC. He sucks Dana's cock while Mindlessspin is giving it to Dana from behind and they think they are MMA experts. I have a feeling that Fudgepacker and Mindlessspin were roommates and fell in love with Dana at the same time. Fudgepacker speaks so much shit it is funny. I love it how he gets owned so much.

Emelianenko will always be known as a human terminator. Guy is what a true champion should go down in the history books for sure. He was so humble after his loss and just kinda shrugged his shoulders after the last fight with zero emotion and I really admire that kind of shit.
His physical and mental toughness is unprecedented in the sport. Phenomenal composure during fights and can finish a fight instantly from any position, even when hurt and in trouble. Ive never seen a fighter with such a plain face while throwing laser guided heymakers or beating someone to an inch of their life. He hits like hes trying to kill and throws bigger opponents around like ragdolls with perfect art to art transitions and follow up positioning. An MMA legend on a biblical scale.
I remember when I watched him fight Gary Goodridge for the first time in 2003 I was absolutely shocked of what he did to him with such perfect efficiency and brute force. Crazy speed and power and made it look easy. Goodridge was in the fetal position getting soccer kicked, and Mark Coleman in the corner yelling "YOUR FINE GARY THIS IS YOUR FIGHT!" Lmfao that was priceless.

Fedor is now officially a legend now that his best days and #1 ranking are behind him. He had a good run and will be a part of MMA history forever.
In Today's MMA, everyone hits like Fedor used to, plus much more. Basic evolution of a relatively young sport is all it took.

You are pretty creative with you homo references. I would almost say that you are speaking from first hand experience, but not even the biggest bear loving homo would find your obese ass attractive.

I don't think Brock is the best and I believe he will be KOd by Carwin this weekend.
I actually agree with you on that, Carwins a beast but also a nice guy met him in San Diego last summer.

Watch the fight. Werdum was not dropped "hard" ::) He had his wits about him and managed to destroy fedor on the ground. Taping is the worse kind of loss. It means you quit. Werdum made Fedor quit. In a real fight, if you get put to sleep, you are as vulnerable as you can be. Without a ref there, Werdum could have put Fedor to sleep, gotten up and soccer kicked the shit out of his head.

For starters, I dont know of anyone with the eastern boxing style Fedor has.
Also as I said before, his physical and mental toughness is STILL unprecedented.

Why do you right "lol" at the end of your post. Not sure what's so funny ???
To answer you question, Anderson & GSP do have losses and that does expose them as being human. Do keep in mind, however, that these guys are fighting the best. And when you fight the best, you truly get tested and sometime come up short.
In Fedor's case, it is a known fact that he has been avoiding the top heavyweights. And, even though he was fighting 2nd tier opponents, he still lost. So yes, Fedor has been exposed for not being this mythical and unbeatable "cyborg" that many thought him to be.
hope that helps "lol" ::)
-
Fedor spars with 10 dudes at a time and still wins. This fact can't be debated so don't even try son!!!!!!!!!
I heard he trains BJJ with grizly bears and practices Muay Thai with coked up kangaroos.
-
If Fedor was exposed, so was everyone else right? Or Andersons and GSPs loses dont count right? lol
Fedor lost to a #10 ranked guy when he was a #1 ranked HW.
Fedor also is not fighting the top ranked HW's in the world due to the org he has a contract with.
Like the UFC or not, he will have to sign with them if he ever want his ranking back.

Dan Hardy the best? Thales Leites the best? When was the last time Fedor went to a decision with a SMALLER non ranked fighter? Nuff said lol

Dan Hardy the best? Thales Leites the best? When was the last time Fedor went to a decision with a SMALLER non ranked fighter? Nuff said lol
You like cracking yourself up don't you? Let me school for a minute. GSP has absolutely cleaned out his division. The only thing left for him at 170, is rematches or crappy fighters like Hardy. I believe that once he breaks the record for most title defenses and consecutive UFC wins, he will move to 185, and do some damage there.
Now, let me take this opportunity to show you just how supid Fedor is, and how brilliant guys like GSP & Anderson are. Fedor tried to make a career by beating guys are their own game. He beat Cropcop on his feet and he beat Nog on the ground. Very risky thing to do. If you win, you're a stud. If you lose, you lose big. And, he just learned this lesson. He jumped into Werdums guard thinking he could beat him at his own game, and then quickly realized that Werdum's BJJ is no joke. Fedor got fucked.
Guys like GSP and Anderson are so well rounded, that they can find their opponents weaknesses and exploit them. That's why Anderson didn't go to the ground with Leitis and why GSP didn't stand with Hardy. That is also why those guys rarely take damage in their fights.
BTW, to answer your question, Fedor fought Renato Sobral, a light heavyweight, and took him to decision. Chuck Liddell KOd Sobral twice.
"LOL" ::)

Earl, I expect more from you. Don't make shit up dude. Werdume was 2-2 in the UFC and got cut.
Yes, GSP and Anderson have blemishes on their records. Their are human and no one is saying otherwise. Fedor was thought of as this unbeatable mythical beast. I never bought into and knew that if he ever got in there with anyone of the top heavyweights, that he could lose. And, he did.

Yeah, poor "stupid" Fedor, one loss in 10 years and beating guys at their own game, according to you.......and widely considered by his peers as one of the greatest of all time.....yet you seem to know so much more about MMA than they do....maybe you should just call Dana up and tell him all this. I'm sure he'd be impressed.

It's funny, I was listening to one of the MMA radioshows right after the Fedor loss and guys were calling in on the verge of tears. It's like they had a death in the family or something really tragic. You must be one of those guys, to get so angry over someone not buying into the Fedor hype.
Yes, 1 loss in many years...easy to do when you're fighting cans like Hong Man Choi or way smaller guys like Matt Linland.
Fedor is not the best heavyweight today. End of story.

What does being the "best amongst his peers" really mean anyways?
Ask GSP's, Silva's, Carwin's, or even Lesnar's peers their opinion, and they will say the same thing.
In the real MMA world, minus the media hype, Fedor wad good at winning fights. That is all.
Fedor knew how to pick an opponent and win a fight....that is until the UFC came to town and exposed his antics.
Fedor's best days are behind him. This is why I say he was exposed.
Fedor and his management are very smart though. He made a lot of money and fooled a lot of people.

Exactly....we can debate all day long about the past.
What matters today is that Fedor is not holding the #1 ranking hostage any longer by dodging the fights/talent people want to see.

I know it's funny, mindspin takes fedor so seriously, he makes fun of the people that were almost crying whn they called it, but he comes across as a giddy schoolboy since fedor lost. Fedor's record is questionable, but I agree that this is subjective.
What is not subjective is that Fedor is NOT currently ranked #1 and WILL NEVER get it back unless he fights in the UFC. This is all I care about.
Got to fight TOP RANKED guys to earn and keep #1 status.

Fedor lost his ranking and will never get it back, even if he does beat Werdum.

Fedor is no longer #1 and unless he fights the top UFC he will never regain it.
No amount of name calling will change that.

Folks,
The moral of the story is very simple.
Fedor has been defeated. He wasn't defeated by a top-ranked, heavyweight fighter. He was simply defeated by an average fighter, who has very strong BJJ skills (Strong as in a black belt in jujitsu).
What does this teach us?
Anyone can be defeated on any given day. No one is perfect and infallible. Fedor made a HUGE mistake in thinking that he can underestimate another fighter's top level jujitsu skills. In doing so, Fedor lost the match in a pathetic way.
Does Fedor still have the BEST record in MMA? Yes.
Does anyone think that Fedor is not a great fighter? No.
Will Fedor now HAVE to redeem himself and prove the legitimacy of his great record (i.e. regain his rank) by potentially joining the UFC and beating not just one, but maybe 4-5 of their top-ranked, heavyweight fighters? YES.
Like anyone else who has been a fan of the sport, I appreciate what Fedor brings to MMA, but let's face it folks, he got whooped, plain and simple..

Folks,
The moral of the story is very simple.
Yes.

So you admit he was #1? no one stays #1 forever
Yes, I agree he was #1 about 5 years ago. No one can dispute that.

Dude, I dunno what youre thinking, most of us agree with that statement.
That doesnt explain your random Fedor hate, if you agree with him. It makes no sense.

This posts should put an end to this thread. Nothing more to add.

Questionable !?!! 31 victories is questionable ?!?!? dude i don't care if they're ALL cans, 31 straight victories is INSANE for any athletic performance, just like Lesnar's 105 NCAA victories are impressive as fuck! stop talking about shit you know nothing about.
Getting in a cage to fight someone there is a 50/50 chance of you losing , ALWAYS. Whether it's by getting beaten or beating yourself like in Fedor's loss.

"LOL"
Dude, you have just made the point of how great Fedor is. By your own admission, he made a career of fighting grapplers and wrestlers on the ground and strikers standing and still managed to remain undefeated for a decade. You would have a point if those guys were cans but...by your own admission, Fedor fought consistenly the best heavyweights in the World from 2003-2006. What other fighter could remain undefeated for three years fighting the very best fighters in his weight class and beating them at their own game? Not Anderson, not GSP, only Fedor. You have just made the case for him being the greatest ever. ;)

Fedor invites anyone to his club to fight him, anyone. He just said that one need that list from doctor where it says that the person is sane!

He has? I am not aware of this.

History teaches us again and again, that even the best fighters, armies and nations can fall on any given day due to even the slightest miscalculation.
Fedor is no different. I just hope that he now continues to fight top fighters and forgets about easy paydays with no-name bums. He should put his pride to the side, not make such a big deal about his team's needs and join the UFC.
If he manages to defeat 3-4 top heavyweights and get the belt, I don't think anyone would have any issue in stating that he is the best or at least one of the best fighters of all time.

This is one of the best posts of the year. The great Roman army at the peak of it's power was crushed in Teutoburg by a technologically and organizationally inferior army because the Roman commander Varus was inexperienced and he got himself into an impossible position.
Fedor lost to Werdum because he decided to fight a BJJ match against the BJJ World champion. He escaped the first submission attempt which according to Werdum 99% of BJJ black belts wouldn't, but he pressed his luck and got caught the second time. Fedor's defeat to Werdum doesen't prove that Fedor is not the best MMA fighter in the World: it proves that he is not the best grappler and that the World BJJ champion will submit anyone, even Fedor, in a grappling match. Fedor lost because he was stupid and decided to fight the best in the World at the area where he is the best in the World. Fedor's grappling is good enough to stand up to BJJ black belts and win(Minotauro) but a 5th degree BJJ black belt and World champion is too much on the ground even for Fedor. He should have knocked Werdum out or won by points on the stand-up. Idiot Fedor. Dumbass.

And yep, if there is one moment when Fedor could win the UFC heavyweight belt it is now. Cain is a more technical wrestler than Brock, but Brock would give Fedor more problems due to his enormous strength advantage. Cain is a soft 245 lbs, so he doesen't have the strength to overwhelm Fedor and escape from submissions. Fedor would either knock Cain out or submit him on the ground. Brock would be much harder for Fedor to win and would give more problems.

Anyone except mindspin.
Not true. My only beef with Fedor is that for the last 5 years he's been ducking top competition and going for the easy paydays. And, even doing that he lost to Werdum.
If he were to run through the top 5 heavy weights today (Cain, JDS, Carwin, Alistar, etc.) I would consider him the best today and ever.

I hope Fedor goes to the UFC and shuts up the haters for good. I had my doubts whether Fedor could win the UFC heavyweight belt, but after what happened in the Brock vs Cain fight, I have no doubts that Fedor could win the UFC heavyweight belt. Fedor at his best would completely outclass Velasquez. He would put Cain to sleep either on the stand up or ground. Fedor is the perfect antidote for a skilled wrestler like Cain because no one can give submissions from his back as well as Fedor. No one in MMA, not even Carwin, has the viscious KO power that Fedor has. Brock would be much harder to beat due to his power and speed, but Cain is someone tailor made for Fedor.
