Dana White, the Fertitas, Lesnar, Carwin, Herb Dean would all have to be in on it. If they got exposed they would be ruined. They can make a ton of money out of any outcome of that fight. Having it play out is way mroe than good enough. To fix the fight would be stupid. To think it's played out is fucking retarded. Get over the loss you queefs. Lesnar is a an animal and you homos can't handle it. STFU.

you don't understand. There are some real stupid people on here that actually believe things like the fight was fixed. They actually believe it. They are really that stupid. Instead of accepting reality, they somehow put into their small minds that the only way their idol can lose is if the fight is fixed. It's too bad their are people around like this. That's the funny thing, I'm not even a big fan of Carwin, Lesnar I sort of liked before but not after this bullshit, he thinks he's the best in the world, he's had 5 fights.
My favorite fighters are Fedor, Wanderlei, Shogun, Silva and GSP.

THE TRUTH OF MATTER IS THE REF SHOULD HAVE STOPPED THE FIGHT.. brock was not answering back.. i have seen them stop numerous fights for less.. this went on very long.. brock literally went into a fetal position and layed down.. did not attempt to fight back.. any other fighter this would have been stopped.. unfortuantely the ufc is looking more like the wwe.. but boy is brock's stand up weak.. carwins corner kept yelling for him to let him up so he could finish him off.. he should have listened..

Also Dana just doubled the UFC fans/exposure via Brock's WWE following, makes sense that they would point out the wrestler's in the stands like stone cold and the rock, what's an easier audience then 8-15 year old kids spending their parents money on brock merchandise and begging their parents to order the PPV's.. ????

I said roughly 3 years when the fighter is AT THE TOP OF THEIR GAME like Liddell was around 2003.. I thought those up by watching MMA since UFC 1 and looking for patterns..every big fighter has a run of 2-4 years when they are at the top of their game.. Gracie, Shamrock, Abbott, you name it..everyone gets old and at some point everyone gets overtaken in every sport or athletic event.

if it was anyone else, or if the fighters switched places and it was brock pounding on carwin like that, it would have been stopped.

I was hoping Brock would lose
If Lesnar gets out of the 1st rd, his size and strength probably wear out Carwin, but, like most, I'm hoping he gets knocked out.
But the fix theory makes no sense. Even if Brock had lost, he'd get a rematch which would probably be an even bigger draw than the first fight.
That fight reminded me of a football game in which one team dominates the 1st quarter but only comes away with a field goal.
And those who think Carwin just let Brock submit him probably have never done any of this type of training. When you're gassed, you're gassed. You can't do anything. I've seen many muscular bodybuilder types transformed into crumpled heaps of flesh after a few minutes of hard grappling.

Anyone who watches enough title bouts knows that the ref gives just a little bit longer before he stops the fight in ground n pound situations. Could the fight have been stopped? Yes. Am I surprised it wasn't? No. It was a title match.

Beautiful piece of wrestling from Brock. Great hip work and intelligent escape. Not something a half conscious fighter could have done. He was never hurt, but his boxing was awful!

Well I have a feeling more fighters are going to use this tactic Lesnar has perfected. He survived a barrage of punches whihc not one landed hard enough to hurt him badly and when the time was right he stood up very easily against a guy who was supposed to be a good wrestler too. So, look for more people to do the "Lesnar Fetal Run" in order to pull out a win. I don't see any heavyweight handling Lesnar on the ground when he is on top. But he is about the worst while he is on his feet.
