Is George Farah still doing Victor's contest prep? He said it was the easiest prep he ever had:
http://mdtv.musculardevelopment.com/contests/2009-nationals/2538-mark-alvisi-and-victor-del-campo-talk-about-the-2009-nationals.html
I think Victor is putting on a bit more size but the main improvement is his muscle density which I think has been gradually improving with age.

The shoes he wears for drag, are just tossed in the corner. Clean up your room, bitch.

Exactly, unfortunately he doesn't have the structure. If he gets bigger it will be more noticable. Je probably would make a excellent bencher, due to his shorter arms.
-
Vic: what weight do you compete at?
Also, who do you see as your main threats?
-
A pretty solid phsyque, other than his arms don't match anything else on his body

Hey thanks, THE BEEF!! I hope to have the new JOOMLA version of my site up by the new year. In fact, whether it's complete at that time or not I will be introducing it then. I think I can learn a lot from my experiences at the Olympia and improve the quality of the interviews by the time of the Arnold. That's the goal at least.

No problem Vic. I just find the high carbs in George's diets a little odd. Regardless, he definitely brought you and Branch to contests in better shape than ever before. Whatever he is doing, it's working.

i am the guy from raising the bar
im 5 foot 3
i compete at 165 and i think my main threats are prisk and luis santa
196 in my offseason my arms are 18 inches 19 pumped i am very thick and have been bringing them up over the years
i dont ever plan to be the best in the world or dream of being a top olympia guy i enjoy competeing and just try and do my best
and straight up i have never touched dnp and never will. just solid nutrition
also carbs are very improtant and having them in my diet and looking good is not a bad thing

if its not the DNP, then what is it? higher dosed fat burners? well timed insulin shots? or just more cardio? ::)
-
well trained metabolism i carry alot of muscle on my frame for my height. i still stay in a calorie deficit. if you dont eat carbs your gonna use protien for glycogen instead of muscle building.
not using much fat burners or anything everyone else isnt using.
never touched insulin
-
lookin good.
maybe a little more back width and arms and your on you're way to your pro card.
also you gotta get shredded in the glutes and hams ( no homo ).
good luck dude.
-
Good job Vic.
Stairmaster is a necessary evil for you.
-
looks good, has been competing for some time now and has done well and placed or won at national level.
-
He looks good but I think Dr. Prisk will take the WW. Santa is also very competitive in this class.
-
Makes branch's arms look as good as phil's.
-
his head looks too big for his body
-
Well done. Good luck.
-
diffinitely added some size.. very dense.. good luck..
-

Same for me. Big head = big brain? ??? ;D

I am also very curious. Did George prep Branch this year? He looked better than ever so I'm wondering what he did. In the case of both Branch and Victor, they are still relatively young in bodybuilding terms and the quality of their muscle is changing each year independent of muscle growth. Still, I have to question what George is giving his clients if they can eat more carbs and do less cardio and come in looking better than ever.

Thanks for being honest it seems like everyone who competes nowadays has 20 inch arms on stage ::)

as far as i know george prepped branch.
i dont see george face to face until i get to the showim competeing in, he lives 5 hours away from me all he does is tell me how much cardio to do and what to eat he through email he also advises me on suppliments too. he is not giving me any secret potion i can assure you.
-
Good luck mate :)
-
Good luck Vic. I have seen you improve over the years, since the "high energy gym" days. Take care and kick some butt at the nationals!!! barretta
-
never touched insulin
What's your cycle like?

Ok use your head Matt.
there are 3 things to consider when you want to lose fat.
Diet
Cardio
Drugs
so they to LESS cardio with "George", and they eat more
what's the only other factor they can use to lose fat then ?
more drugs of course

So no mercurial based diuretics?
Good for you son.

Of course you're right. I mean, what else is there? I would never ask George in an interview if he gives his clients DNP, but I would dance around the subject and let him answer that as he would. If not DNP, then clearly something else is administered which is making the difference. From Vic:
http://mdtv.musculardevelopment.com/contests/2009-nationals/2538-mark-alvisi-and-victor-del-campo-talk-about-the-2009-nationals.html
Vic said he stopped doing cardio one week out because he was so ready and was drinking fruit juice late into the diet as well as eating brown rice. So what else is there?
In any event, Vic looks ready and I hope he wins his class and turns pro!
-
two types of people bodybuiders and everyone else
::)
-
From Victor:
Victor: "1651/4 just made weight this is me at weigh in"
His legs look a little down from last year but his arms and lats look up although maybe it's just the angle of the picture. His legs look to be in better condition than I have ever seen them.
-
Victor said he did not make the first callout and therefore will be 5th place at best. That is surprising to me as I thought he looked better than ever. But I guess a lot can happen in the last minute.
Shawn Ray interviewing Vic before the prejudging:

Yeah it looks like it is out of Prisk and Bartlett, 1&2, then Sabter and hester, then Delcampeo. Good class, better than the MW class this year.
