8 min walk then 2 min jog, then 8 walk then 2 jog then 8 walk then 2 jog.
Might not sound halfass decent for alot of poeple, but for someone who havent been able to even jog for about 5 years its GREAT ;D
Got a cast done of the bottom of my feet, and got one of these made (http://www.xn--hlsporre-0za.com/images/image_footover.gif) to put in the shoes, 180£ and another 110£ for the shoes. But combine that with alot of stretching and it seems to work! Not gonna push it at first so Im gonna start of 2 min jog at the end of every 10 min on the treadmill =)

Freedom! and a crosstrainer gets boring.
and being able to walk at a decent pase without my shins feeling like they are about to POP is a good feeling also

I bet stuntmovie is haooy about me Finally doing something about this shit.
Im currently doing 45-60 min of strenght training , 10 min of intervalls on the rowing machine (45 sec normal pase then the last 15 sec of every minute MAXING OUT then 45 normal again) and then 30 min on the treadmill, and after that around 30-45 min of stretcing, and neck rolls lol.
did a bunch of CJ yesterday also, alot more demaning doing many reps starting from the ground each time then you would think lol.

Shin splints suck big black dick, I just had it this summer. Running was pretty much impossible. Glad to hear you're doing better.

I do around 6-7 different stretches combined with 2 different neck rolls, and I do that cycle around 4 times, takes a while and Im not rushing because I find it Super relaxing. (could do them faster) reallo close to pulling of splits now lol.

Thx, Yes its fucking horrible. still hurts after the 1st minute or jogging but its bareable, and Im not thinking its going away Right away, trying to get used to jogging a bit again, almsot forgot how to even do it lol. Doing a shit of calf stretches also. hopefully it helps a bit
I already notice a Big difference n cardio on the rowing machine, and im only like 1.5 weeks in. Its amazing how fast you can change. Will post some before/after phots later on my abs lol. I was pretty out of shape before it started. "Big" differenfe there also in only like 3 weeks,

What kind of stretches are you doing? I wanted to start stretching again as well, but haven't done it in years and I'm so afraid of the pain that I haven't had the balls yet.

Im gonan try and explain them in english lol. Veyr basic, I dont know much about stretching but I figure these ones are decent to start out with
1st: the orginal glute stretch, one leg over the other you know,
2: sitting like a yoga man but with the bottom of the feets facing each other and the knees toucing the ground and then laying flat forward (apparently you need to be very flexible to do these but ive always been able to, always gets a bunch of looks when I do them, not many peopel can make the knees touch the ground apparently)
3:sitting streaight and having one foot on the inside of the other leg and toucing your toe
4: sitting straing with legs straight out and touching your toes (hardest ones for me hurts like a MOTHEREFFER) Im having a dumbell between my feet and draging myself closer to my feet also. until I can grab em, and then I hold on and endure the actually horrible pain until it gets better, takes abvout 15 sec then its easier.
5: Splits
6: neck rolls back
7: neck rolls to the front
8: standing calf stretches..
I guess someone used to stretching could give you bettter advice though haha. I like them for a starter though.

at 10sec and then I lay myself forward flat so my toes touches my chest. I could fall asleep in that position lol.

I usually just do a penis stretch where I stretch it out and tie it into a monkey fist and slap lazy people in the face with it.

Its nice when the girls are sitting stretching thinking they are the shit and I sit down and Outstretch the fuck out of them. BAAM BITCHES you're not the best at anything ;D

last time was when I ran from the police for having alcohol in a public place. we were WALKING to a party, no drinks in hand or anything and not drunk, and they guy infront of me got stopped and they forced him to open and pour out Everything he had in his "bag". and I though FUCK THAT. I just spent a bunch of money on shit to drink (pre beer time to everything I drank was expensive smirenoff lol) and there is no way Im gonna pour it out ;D
after that run, on asfalt , my shins were Ruined. I got to keep my alcohol though ;D

Also learn to run soft footed like you would on glass, you take in less impact and are able to run alot easier, it takes a bit of pratice, but it double's your endurance if you got shin problems, my problem is calves and ankles, and it makes the difference between 6 min's of cardio and an hour.

doing something that makes you feel like puking/dying and doing the same thing less then 2 weeks after and not being anything as close to out of breath is really motivating.
then again I really had HORRIBLE cardio also. it still sucks. But its getting better!

yeah, Im, trying to mimmick some of the other guys that runs soo damn "effortlessly" its gonna take a few tries though, ive only jogged now about 3-4 times, and the last time was probably around 4-5 years ago,
I do gym, then intervalls, then walk/jog, I think thats enough warmup? or maby 1-2 min on the bike Bfore the intervalls in the rowing machine?

Lol last summer 09 me and my friends broke into a local outdoor pool, got caught 9 of us, I was the fastest, so I didn't get caught :D, had to run 2 k barefoot with no shirt, loaded drunk, that's were I learned the magic of barefoot running. Sneakers are designed to take all the strain so your feet get lazy, and it causes alot of foot problems Ironically.

Lol last summer 09 me and my friends broke into a local outdoor pool, got caught 9 of us, I was the fastest, so I didn't get caught :D, had to run 2 k barefoot with no shirt, loaded drunk, that's were I learned the magic of barefoot running. haha, when I was a kid and played football I was always the short but super fast kid ;D

did 20 straight min on the intervalls yesterday. And ofc I was out of breath but not close to death as I was after just 5 min when I began working on my cardio. Pretty cool.
Shins are starting to hurt though :-\
