Sternum Chin-ups. Brutal pump, killer results and harder than hell to do, even after doing them for months.
-
Deads for sure!!
-
one arm row, pull over machine, deads, go home and eat.
-
I lift your mom
-
I lift your mom
BOOM

-
All I do is pullups anymore...50-75 reps then I hit the cardio..usually a machine right behind a girl with a nice ass...
-
I superset (hammer) lat pull down with stiff leg deads and barbell pullovers in a constant rotation.
-
Lat pull downs.
dumbell rows
deadlifts
-
here is what i would do on a back day
pull downs wide grip
barbell rows
pull downs with a different handle
tbar rows
pull ups
dead lifts or seated rows or neither

Chins.

i was under the impression that back day for you consisted of lifting up stolen tv's and putting them on the back of a truck

Exercises:
narrow-grip pull-ups
deadlifts...conventional or rack from the knee level
barbell rows...underhand grip
low cable rows
dumbell rows
cable pullovers
Usually 3-4 of these...2-3 sets/exercise...order chances everytime...short breaks...fast in, fast out and back to eat... ;)
-
I start with 2-3 sets of pullovers on the high pulley....just for a warmup and to preexaust my lats...
Then
its always something like chins or machine pulldowns...ALWAYS...onl y after these i move to rows and stuff.
I rarely do deads nowadays...i find out they are useless for me..when i do them its always in the end.
-
Chins
Deadlifts
Barbell Rows
T-Bar Rows
Seated Rows
Wide Grip Pull Downs
-
Bench press.
-
I always begin and end with over-hand dead-hang pull-ups.
-
pull ups. 4 sets of 8...variable grip
You dont actually think varying your grip is gona grow muscle on different parts of your lats do you? ::)

Cause you're huge like Dorian, right TBombz?
Do more exercises and you'll grow.
-
I pre-exhaust with either chins or lat-pulldowns.
Then barbell rows, followed by pullovers, cable rows, and finally deadlifts.
-
I never did back much until recently/last 4 months.
My upper body feel way mroe powerful now.
I esp like leveage machine where you sit all pull handles to ears from way in front of me.
If I clench my fists and flex lats against back now have lot of muscle suddenly under armpits.

;D Right I don`t post much anyway I read a bit though.
For a good back chins and rows are important but first and most important exercise is deadlift 8)(http://i56.tinypic.com/11ae6o8.jpg)(http://i55.tinypic.com/b80dn6.jpg)

T-bar rows than barbells rows
-
I do deadlifts on squat day. Well kinda more posterior chain day.

Right, deadlifts are not for back day X 2
-
I do squats, deads, front squats/leg extensions then lying leg curl on 'leg' day. if I done deads on back I would be tired on leg day and vice versa.
-
Guys deadlifts are not safe. They will wreck your back. Use dumbells they are much more effective ;D
-
pull ups......then do some more pull ups....

nah man, i go by what works for me, not what others say works for them. i used to always train with multiple exercises, going to failure all the time, trying to "work as hard as possible". but it never got me much in the way of results. now i focus on one exercise, properly warm up, go heavy for a few sets untill im unable to use the heavy weight with proper form for desired reps, and im done. im stronger every workout when i train this way, and growing better than ever.

no deadlifts or barbells rows eh? tssk tssk

I dont do barbell rows OR deads. My lower back won't allow. But, over the years I've managed without and still have built a pretty good natty back.
I honestly believe that you can build a decent back without deads and barbell rows. What the true key to building a back is a slower pace of the rep and the pause at the contraction. Controlling the weight is most important in a back workout. Also the LIGHTER amount of weight used so that the back is working, not the biceps etc.
Pulldowns with a variety of grips are most important. I also LOVE seated, one-handed cable rows. Pause these at contraction. My lats have gotten thick with these.
If i do do a barbell row, it's on a smith machine, Dorian style. NOT Arnold style.
-
did back today
4 sets of deads up to 550lbs
3 sets barbell rows up to 315lbs 10 reps
4 sets of chins 15 reps
3 set cable rows
-
not the same exercise every time but if i want to do heavy deadlifts i must do them the first thing after warming up!!..
-
CUrious: WHen you guys DL, what kinda grip? Palms on same side of bar or opposite sides?
-
CUrious: WHen you guys DL, what kinda grip? Palms on same side of bar or opposite sides?
when i do a moderate weight for reps both palms are on the same side to be more symmetrical but if i do one rep with max. weight i make them opposite as this enables you to lift heavier!!..
-
CUrious: WHen you guys DL, what kinda grip? Palms on same side of bar or opposite sides?
Always overhand grip...in the regular grip it seems like youre pulling with your bicep....and that feel aint good. :-X
-

Under over grip, that way the bar can't slip.
