"So the message is 'hang in there?'" Yahoo!'s Anna Robertson asked.
"The message is hang in there," he repeated.

Bush steered the car into the ditch. Obama and his idiotic party have attached plastic explosives to the car and blown it to bits.

yeah.. and why is that.. you see this is a discussion.. insults are good as long as they are followed by some substance

30 million people are not getting a damn thing. They are getting a gun to their head by obama to buy insurance via a mandate as a result of the corrupt deal he made w the carriers.
If I put a gun to your head and force you to treat patients, should we clap and cheer that the patients are "getting healthcare"????

whats their premiums look like mal?
the health care bill was supposed to lower premiums give more benefits etc...
well broham sorry nothing is free in this world, if youre going to increase benefits youre going to increase costs
this bill does shit absolute shit
id say the only good thing about this bill is the pre existing conditions clause other than that this bill is an absolute shit ball

Ok real quick, a couple of things...Take it for what you want but these are some factors
Initially, i knew this would be costly because of the new insured patients who had gone with out healthcare suddenly with access. So they had conditions that were worse than those with healthcare. So it will level out in a few years. Also taxpayers had to pay the high cost of ER (which is the most expensive part of medicine) Its cheaper to treat a pt with annual visits than it is to treat numerous ER visits. When ErVisits are reduced because of a more monitored approach.. It will level out..
Dont get me wrong. Its definatley fucked up because im more of the "shit or get off the pot" guy. But you have to admit, because of this Bill.. More people are healthy
-
Fucking brilliant - screw up the entire health system for 15% of the people, man y of who choose not to have insura nce.
-
Let's add tens of millions of more people to an already broken system and then expect it to miraculously function better!
Should have fixed the system first and then down the road added those people in. But why should common sense be used in far-left politics?
-
or just turn your head and pretend there is no problem like the right does ::)
-
Well if the shit is broken, might as well get more people healthy
-

Because of this, premiums are getting so high it would have been cheaper for mom to buy her 25 year old individual insurance and pay out her own pocket before ObamaCare ever happened.
-

Like everything obama and the incompetent left do, they turn a bad situation into a catasrophe.
-
By their own bogus promises they are a miserable failure.
Bush missed his own iraq victory benchmarks by 4000 lives, 1 trillion dollars, and 6 years.
Do you consider the iraq war a failure too, 33?

no.. bush is a repub
-
I never remember Bush saying the war would be totally free and no one would die. Enlighten me 240.
As for Pres. WTF, why didnt he tout the successes of the stim bill in his speach for 3 million new jobs? Oh thats right.

I agree with that part but the idea that it will level out is just assinine bro
first off the money that was being paid to cover those costs wasnt going to the insurance company it was going to the GOVT...you think the govt is going to all of a sudden start taking less of our money b/c they may have less bills? and thats even if it does work...
the insurance companies are going to continue to raise premiums b/c they have more risks they have to pay for all those preventative visits.
this bill does nothing to contain costs mal absolutely nothing...
you say it wil level off and lets just say youre right, what stops the rising costs to the consumer?
-
Well if the shit is broken, might as well get more people healthy
This is the underlying theme of the far-left: Why fix something when you can just ignore it and dump it off on someone else down the line?
Yes, we might as well get more people healthy....until this entire country collapses from the debt load and no one can get healthy.
-

PReventative is cheaper than ER.. its just a fact. The consumer pays for the cost.. if the cost is reduced the consumer pays less.
I think you are thinking its like the petro situation where oil companies say "they paid 4 bucks/gallon anyway" that remains to be seen. but can we agree that it was fucked up in the first place and the bill in its purest form would have done more than this watered down pos we got?

right mal but again whats to keep the insurance companies from just creating bigger profit margins?
and again mal the money that was used to cover those uninsured went to the govt via taxes...not the insurance companies...
so you think the govt is going to tax less from us just b/c they dont have to pay as much for uninsured ppl? HONESTLY?
this was a govt and insurance company gang bang on the us citizens
-
Because 30mil more people have healthcare?.. God damn it
Right. That was the only thing. Not the stim bill that was supposed to keep UE at 8%. Not the effort spent on trying to legitimize cap and trade.
All that time wasted on those agendas, while ignoring the importance of creating an economic environment where businesses, large and small, could determine how many people they can hire and where to spend their money.
-

I fully agree with that.. and its been a gang banging for many years now.

until the current legislation is changed or some others are passed
the situation will not get any better under the new health care bill
govt wont tax less b/c they have less to pay for in health care costs
insurance companies will continue to raise rates b/c of increased risk and there is no reason not to increase profits...especially when the economy kicks back in and everyone is raising prices...
this bill doesnt do shit except the pre existing conditions clause
