most bodybuilders dont care about and dont pay any attention to calves. it doesnt effect placings and it is barely effects the aesthetics of the 8 mandatories.

It looks like the muscle belly is dead in the left leg. I remember that calf being bigger earlier on. Why this is I don't know. Marcos Chacon has the same thing, some type of nerve issue he says.
Ronnie also had calves with zero belly (see some front shots - looks exactly like Wolf's lower legs). Some years he was successful in shooting them up so they looked full.

I remember seeing a pic of yours and they looked pretty untrained as well. Let's face it, if you're huge and you're wearing shorts with pathetic calves, it ruins the whole look.

You CANNOT "bring up" calves, their size is determined by how long the muscle is vs how long the tendon is. The muscle itself is too short and cannot be increased. Go look at massive amount of black bodybuilders who generally have short muscle bellies and long tendons, they're ALL small. Look at fankhousers or jays, the muscle itself actually connects very low near the ankle on a short tendon.
It's like saying if you have high inserted lats you need to work on bringing them down lower? Lol. It's impossible, this is why no bodybuilder EVER has had small calves at any point in his lifetime, THEN made them great.

He's right on the money , muscle length can NOT be changed ( for the positive that is tears can change the length as Yates :-X ) clavicle width can't change , the amount of muscle cells in the given muscle like Wolf's calves , unless he injects oil or something else the length , shape and size of those suckers are doomed.

to their genetic limits of course , Arnold did , like I said it's all dependent on how much muscle cells you have in that given area , Wolf like a lot of black bodybuilders doesn't have a great abundance of cells in his calves , I'm sure he pounded the shit out of his calves and they went no where , not lack of trying just lack of cells

I'm sure he never trained his calves until it was too late .90% of people that I know don't train their calves or do 3 sets (lightweight) at the end of 15 sets of heavy leg workout ..

How much do you think JJ could increase his calf size through training? Give us the program he needs to bring them up to match the rest.

Truly look at the calves, their size, muscularity, and where the actual muscle ends. They are well developed and very muscular, THEY JUST CONNECT to high up on the back of his shin because it's a short muscle + long tendon. This is apparent largely with a lot of black bodybuilders as that is one of their common genetic traits, you think 9/10 black bodybuilders don't train their calves, and 9/10 white bodybuilders do? No. Good calves are ALWAYS genetic, even the people with the good ones always say it. It's how long of a muscle belly you have to work with, thus why NO ONE goes from bad calves to good calves.

These guys don't really have the muscle mind connection with calves. So they load tons of weight and bounce up and down and call it a calve routine.

after deconditioning the calf muscles, the mechanical load should progress each and every workout.
workout should be repeated a soon as protein synthesis is down to normal levels. higher frequency of workouts.
extend the time muscles are fully stretched while fully loaded, each and every workout. this time under tension,loaded and fully stretched , extending as long as needed,eventually reaching 30 minutes or more per workoutsession.
while fully stretched and loaded, contract isometrically.
he can chronically stimulate his calves by having electrodes implanted.
or have surgical remove his ankle flexor, inducing compensatory overload in remaining muscles soleus

I agree, as long as by 'tights' you meant thighs. I've mentioned this in a few other threads. Guys thighs are getting far too big for their lower legs.
