My knees hurt just reading that.  :'(

On a side note, what is your opinion on squatting with knee pain, dangerous?

Coach, were you going to compete in this contest even before Fatso issued his "challenge?"

There is ZERO chance chubby is going to actually get on that stage. ZERO.
If you're only entering to take the FatFriendless one up on his "challenge" I hope he will at least do the honorable thing and admit he's not competing well before you kill yourself with a contest diet and waste money on food and supplements.

hes an attention whore.

he'll do /say anything to get the attention hes so starved for, even if it means looking like a complete tool at the end, cause all that matters- the attention.

i think he was overly mothered as a child, causing the social retardation we see. and now that that attention from her is gone, he seeks it anywhere else he can.

In a challenge match, it doesn't matter what the other person does. All that matters is that you live up to your part. If he's not training or if he backs out, you win.

Perhaps the Coach is more interested in training his legs, as opposed to a penile worshipper such as you who has an entirely different motive when 'deep' squatting

He hasn't a clue, but I'd be willing to bet before he answers your question, he'll google his answer first.

What's the bodybuilding utility of box squats though? Why do you do them coach? I've done a shitload of box squats and my legs are sticks. Not much use for building quads IMO, except in a few cases.

Box squats are especially useful for powerlifters squatting in suits, often using a very wide stance. And very few of them have much quad development. Some of the best box squatters you can hardly tell train their legs. It's mostly a posterior chain movement.

Remember what Louie Simmons had Francois do to grow his legs? (for those that don't know Simmons is probably the biggest reason box squats are so popular)

Quote
He wanted his legs bigger, which I thought was impossible, and we worked doing incline squats (similar to a hack squat), and he would never lock his legs. We got them bigger!

Perhaps tbombz isn't so far off after all.  :D

Yeah and they actually try to take their quads out of the movement when squatting. The idea being that you sit back on the box, not moving the shin bone. Then you engage the hips, ass, hams, back when you come up. Now Olympic squatters have great quads and they do the opposite. They use squat shoes with elevated heels (unlike the "Westside squatters"), use a narrow stance and don't mind if the knees travel over the feet. All this engages the quads to a greater extent. And it shows.

I don't know if tbombz knows about these powerlifter techniques and the reason for using them. But Coach just has a disdain for him because he thinks it's just a snotnose know-nothing kid with no experience so he dismisses him offhand and doesn't offer a reason for his exercise selection. Whether through instinct or whatever he was still basically right if we're talking building quads.   :D

If Coach has a good reason for doing box squats for bb I'm all ears.  8)

Did you do the powerlifting meet you were talking about a year or two ago? Did you start doing regular deads instead of the trap bar deads?  :D

Speaking of powerlifting techniques, bands are great. Rack deads with bands are insane. You never felt tension like that throughout your back. Bands on pressing movements are nice as well. May even reduce shoulder pain during the movement if that's a problem. Rig some bands to a smith machine for chest work.  :D

Well it's kind of unstable for someone not used to it if you attach the bands to the rack, i.e. a bodybuilder, plus I know Coach hates the smith machine.  :D

The lazy but stable feeling version of using bands is this. Of course with regular bar weight added.

Wouldn't chains being superior and more stable than bands? I can see using chains on squats since it would come closer to matching the strength curve since the resistance would increase as you push out of the bucket (your weakest point) and increase the load as you approach lockout. But I'm not sure with other movements.

I thought box squats were obsolete because of the risks of spine compression at the bottom. And you take tension off the quads as you sit on the box. What's the point? Just do full ass to heel squats even if it means you have to use lighter weight.

We made a vibrant green Broccoli-Cheese Soup with Il Villagio hand-wrapped Parmigiano-Reggiano  Cheese and a hint of Irish White Cheddar for a slight piquant flavor.  There are two unconventional tricks to this dish.  First you have to coax as much flavor from the Broccoli as possible so this means COOKING the ever-living daylights out of it as fast as possible.  This is accomplished by adding a bit of baking soda which alters the PH and speeds the cooking process as it rapidly softens the cell walls of the Broccoli thus extracting ALL of its flavor compounds.  The problem then is this leaves a dull gray color due to the extreme extraction of flavor and cooking technique and you do not want this for presentation.  To combat this, you then add a few ounces of Baby Spinach for an intense green color.  This also provides additional nutrition and the taste is not detectable.  The cheese also provides the necessary creaminess without needing any heavy cream.  Finally, the slightly caramelized onions in butter dissolve for sweetness as the entire soup is blended for a smooth texture.

The soup is so amazing, we actually went to the store tonight to make it again.  We also picked up ingredients to make our Hungarian Beef Stew with Egg Noodles.  Paprika here, being the key element, so you want to try to get the absolute highest quality you can.

What method?  Boiling?  Would a pressure cooker work?

Please post the recipe; here or on the nut board.

What method?  Boiling?  Would a pressure cooker work?

Please post the recipe; here or on the nut board.
You need to follow these directions EXACTLY to the T or else you will just waste your time.  I can guarantee you it will be perfect if you follow exactly.

INGREDIENTS
2   tablespoons unsalted butter
2   pounds broccoli , florets roughly chopped into 1-inch pieces, stems trimmed, peeled, and cut into 1/4-inch-thick slices
1    medium onion , roughly chopped (about 1 cup)
2    medium garlic cloves , minced or pressed through garlic press (about 2 teaspoons)
1 1/2   teaspoons dry mustard powder
pinch cayenne pepper
Table salt
3–4   cups water
1/4   teaspoon baking soda
2   cups low-sodium chicken broth (see note)
2   ounces baby spinach (2 loosely packed cups)
3   ounces sharp cheddar cheese , shredded (3/4 cup)
1 1/2   ounces Parmesan cheese , grated fine (about 3/4 cup), plus extra for serving
Ground black pepper
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Heat butter in large Dutch oven over medium-high heat. When foaming subsides, add broccoli, onion, garlic, dry mustard, cayenne, and 1 teaspoon salt. Cook, stirring frequently, until fragrant, about 6 minutes. Add 1 cup water and baking soda. Bring to simmer, cover, and cook until broccoli is very soft, about 20 minutes, stirring once during cooking.

2. Add broth and 2 cups water and increase heat to medium-high. When mixture begins to simmer, stir in spinach and cook until wilted, about 1 minute. Transfer half of soup to blender, add cheddar and Parmesan, and process until smooth, about 1 minute. Transfer soup to medium bowl and repeat with remaining soup. Return soup to Dutch oven, place over medium heat and bring to simmer. Adjust consistency of soup with up to 1 cup water. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Serve, passing extra Parmesan separately.

The soup is so amazing, we actually went to the store tonight to make it again.  We also picked up ingredients to make our Hungarian Beef Stew with Egg Noodles.  Paprika here, being the key element, so you want to try to get the absolute highest quality you can.

Sounds splendid.  We went to one of our favorite restaurants and had a "quick" dinner.  Started off with a glass of Perrier water with Mediterranean lime to cleanse the palate.  We began our food journey with a bountiful dish of Madagascan prawns.  After that, we decided to order a bottle of Robert Mondavi's Opus One. It's been about five months since I last tasted the lavish yet powerfully aggressive wine.  After a few minutes in cabernet sauvignon heaven, my Kobe steak arrived.  As it sat almost taunting me on a beautiful "occupied japan" china plate, I second guessed myself wondering if it was worth the $149.00 price tag.  Then it dawned on me, you can't put a price on quality.  As my fork gently cascaded into the juicy beef I new I was in for something special.  As I took my first bite, the incredible texture of well marbled beef engulfed my taste buds.  To end a perfect meal, we ordered one of the Chef's very own creations called "Côte d’Ivoire" cake.  What came to our table was a magical array of colors and smells.  A beautiful slice of chocolate cake with champagne serbet teased us.  As I took my first bite, I notice a very sweet flavour that I couldn't put my fingers on.  As the chef came out to greet us, he informed me that he used small slices of apricots and  pears that were soaked in Jamaician rum for two years.  The cake was just brilliant and gave the most enjoyable aroma one could imagine.  A very suitable end to a very exquisite evening. Outstanding!

That looks easy enough.  Thank you.

I like my soup more of this consistency  (http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_qplkqwaPVLE/TOnEyaLYtUI/AAAAAAAACwo/9oA465N76hM/s320/IMG_1920.JPG)
vs this
(http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_lWtgHyZMmrE/SzA_UsbQO3I/AAAAAAAACeU/EDtvZMdfVAw/s400/019.JPG)
so I might have to set aside some before the spinach to only do a partial blend with.

The tourist have watered down the area and the OBX of 30 years ago is gone.  It's sad that everything has gone up in price.  The first time I took my wife down she ran to the wine store for some Biltmore wine.  The same wine at the Food Lion was 3x less, she learned very fast.

I agree.  We don't value education anymore.  I see it talking to parents and they are clueless.  When you go to more affluent districts, they do better with their numbers because the parents are taking an active role in their kids education.  This is not the case in economically depressed districts as households are single parent and are barely making it.  Teachers are looked at by most parents as babysitters and restaurants.

I see the LA school district has one expensive school.  Love to see how that place is maintained.lol

That particular school already had to spend an extra 25mil because there was no fisability study, they had to tear back up some of the grounds to repair it...its still under construction. These are some of the things that the media won't tell you here in LA. That school is a taxpayer money pit.

What was the total on that school $578 million?  Can you tell me if they have artificial turf on their fields?  This was one of the capitol projects we were going to do here.  There rational behind it was "less maintenance"  but all the research I've done is that artificial turf is more of a headache.

Not really sure, I found out from a member of our guy who was one of the sub-contractors for the school.....he's still waiting to get paid from LAUSD. Public Works jobs takes forever to get paid on and vendors get pissed. Even when pre-liens are sent the LAUSD ignors them!

Just the opposite here.  Our contractors do shoddy workemenship and if they don't get paid they walk.  Our district refuses to let there own maintenance do the work because then the supervisors don't have to "watch" over them and do THEIR job.  They let these "carpet baggers" come in, do horrible work, then we're left holding the bag.  I believe there are some kickbacks going on with these contractors.  The best is when they lowball a bid, then ring up the total due to "change orders".  What did you think, a classroom needed more then one electrical outlet??? LOL.  Most of the educators I work with have no clue.  They are what I call dumb whizz kids.  Book smart but not street/everyday life smart, which leaves me very unpopular amongst them.

Coach can get in contest shape without much effort compared to what Alex has to do.  Coach lives the lifestyle.  It is second nature to him at this point.  Alex has never been down that road and never will.  I hope he does because he has some muscle but it is a lot of work.  Alex enjoys life way too much to dedicate himself to this contest.

I just got off the skype with KING23 and lets just say the transformation is astounding!!!  COACH you are in for it...period!  I don't know if Nasser had anything to do with it, secret formulas, or genetics but KING23 is looking like a modern day warrior out of  ancient Greece.  I just believe nothing pays off more than hard work in the gym, desire and fortitude.  People like COACH take short cuts with HRT and get wrapped up in illegal activity, don't achieve the honest results that KING23 is getting.  In the end, proof is in the pudding and if KING23 is looking this good now...just imagine what he'll look like when the time comes to "put up or shut up".

Big guy..sums it up..lol  Kinda hard to describe since alot of the people in there were pretty big.  I remember I went in there during mid-day and it was dead, then I went in a five and it was mobbed.  Milos wasn't there that week some other guy at the counter was-big also and had an accent maybe relative to Milos?  One of the best gyms I've ever stepped into.  I've trained at Bev's powerhouse and gyms on the East Coast but there is something to say about Koloseum (funny, wearing the shirt right now)  maybe it was the warmer weather.lol

GH15....you just 10000% discredited yourself by that statement ALONE. retard with mental problem listen ,, listen closely

gh15 never just say thing to say thing,,to get back to things is not easy if you have not been on hormones,,it is not as easy as you make it to be it can take up to a year of serious hormonization and of serious training,,you can supass it at the end but it will cost you doubel when you get product worth ,,you are a midgit period,,you would not be able to be eveb 180lb with out hormones,,in a goodf wet dat if you tried to stayh low doubles to mid singles,,not even 180! you know it and gh15 know it,,
stop trying to pass yourslef as good dedcaiton and year in training,,IT IS BALONIE,,stop this years over year so trainingf balonie only thing it give is strength and even then only to specific individuals and not everyone,,

when it comes to size the size you talk about it takes much more than years of training,,it takes connection to drugs ,,it takes constant usps americano mail system working and delivering you what you need,it takes good source and it take you kissing the ASS OF THAT SOURCE,,

you know it and gh15 know it,,

so the fraud and liar here is you ,,you been doing it for quite long time,,at your age you should concentrate on other thing than to lie to other bodybuildeers,, they know better because gh15 ha come along ,,not because your sorry ass set on getbig for year over year nd didnt say a word about anything,,like training which do nothing if not on hormones when it come to bodybuild,,same with sitting here....it does nothing if you dont say the truth!

Title: Re: From Alex in timeout... Message to coach
Post by: gh15 on February 17, 2011, 08:34:50 PM
staying posetive is one thing,,but when you ahev a 50 year old fella,,most of those fellas in real life are faling apart not even talking about other problems for this age,,and yes he will come and say he is 46 but he look like 50 and he will look 55 when you see him ready to fight the alex fella,, it is from the usage of hormones,,not only 250 mg testosterona,,doesnt work this way ,,

at ages talk about you dont build muscle anymore,,40 year old and up do not bukld no muscle with out hormones,,they cant ,,theur body SHUTS DOWN ,,why you think we all quite bodybuiuld,,and we quit when we haev HORMONES AVAILABLE ALL YOU CAN EAT BUFFET BUT STILL WE QUIT ..WHY?? BECAUUUUUUUUUUUUSE UP AND COMERS YOUNGER THAN US WITH ALL YOU CAN EAT HORMONE BUFFER ARE CHASING US AND OUR AGE!!!!! WONT LET US GO ON,,

so when you have coach here balonie those kids about years of training,,this is all fuckin one balonie fed up from one individual who will be very careful about any step he says about hormones online because his crazy self put his own name on the internet and put his job on the internet but! this by itself is not reason to pass bodybuild for other thing than it is ,,

first come drugs

then come marriage

then come baby in baby carriage!

i mean,,, first come drugs ,,then come training,,then come food so you can look like a baby carriage

good ,,now its understood

staying posetive is one thing,,but when you ahev a 50 year old fella,,most of those fellas in real life are faling apart not even talking about other problems for this age,,and yes he will come and say he is 46 but he look like 50 and he will look 55 when you see him ready to fight the alex fella,, it is from the usage of hormones,,not only 250 mg testosterona,,doesnt work this way ,,

at ages talk about you dont build muscle anymore,,40 year old and up do not bukld no muscle with out hormones,,they cant ,,theur body SHUTS DOWN ,,why you think we all quite bodybuiuld,,and we quit when we haev HORMONES AVAILABLE ALL YOU CAN EAT BUFFET BUT STILL WE QUIT ..WHY?? BECAUUUUUUUUUUUUSE UP AND COMERS YOUNGER THAN US WITH ALL YOU CAN EAT HORMONE BUFFER ARE CHASING US AND OUR AGE!!!!! WONT LET US GO ON,,

so when you have coach here balonie those kids about years of training,,this is all fuckin one balonie fed up from one individual who will be very careful about any step he says about hormones online because his crazy self put his own name on the internet and put his job on the internet but! this by itself is not reason to pass bodybuild for other thing than it is ,,

first come drugs

then come marriage

then come baby in baby carriage!

i mean,,, first come drugs ,,then come training,,then come food so you can look like a baby carriage

good ,,now its understood

retard with mental problem listen ,, listen closely

gh15 never just say thing to say thing,,to get back to things is not easy if you have not been on hormones,,it is not as easy as you make it to be it can take up to a year of serious hormonization and of serious training,,you can supass it at the end but it will cost you doubel when you get product worth ,,you are a midgit period,,you would not be able to be eveb 180lb with out hormones,,in a goodf wet dat if you tried to stayh low doubles to mid singles,,not even 180! you know it and gh15 know it,,
stop trying to pass yourslef as good dedcaiton and year in training,,IT IS BALONIE,,stop this years over year so trainingf balonie only thing it give is strength and even then only to specific individuals and not everyone,,

when it comes to size the size you talk about it takes much more than years of training,,it takes connection to drugs ,,it takes constant usps americano mail system working and delivering you what you need,it takes good source and it take you kissing the ASS OF THAT SOURCE,,

you know it and gh15 know it,,

so the fraud and liar here is you ,,you been doing it for quite long time,,at your age you should concentrate on other thing than to lie to other bodybuildeers,, they know better because gh15 ha come along ,,not because your sorry ass set on getbig for year over year nd didnt say a word about anything,,like training which do nothing if not on hormones when it come to bodybuild,,same with sitting here....it does nothing if you dont say the truth!

1. I have barely have a clue on what you just said. Quit the gimmick bullshit and speak english.

2. Again, "I wouldn't even be 180lbs if I didn't use"? True, but thats only if I HAVE NEVER USED, since i have used in the past, in small amounts only. If you actually knew anything, you'd know small amounts over long periods of time would add greater muscle. NOT massive amounts in a shorter time....thats just a fact son!

3. I can't recall EVER a time in my life where I even used a gram of ANYTHING even with a stack.

4. Before a few weeks ago i didn't touch anything for three years.

5. You need some lessons in physiology before someone else (like me) catches on to more of your bullshit.

6. I don't give a fuck if you're "pro" or a gimmick, your consistent lack of knowledge sickens me.

Fallsview, shut the fuck up, you're probably his gimmick. See you at sharkeez on Sat? thought so!

2. you are constsistant user of hormones ,,with out them no matter how or what you woudl be les than 180 in a good wet day period ,,

3. no one saud massive amount,,you never chiaved anything serious in bodybuild thats why you have hate twards it in many aspect and thats why you keep saying we are not athletes ...its because you used less than 1 gram and didnt get anywhere,,also discovered gh too long into bodybuild,,,,

4 physiology has nothing to do with bodybuild in modern age,,it is how much drug you can afford,,how much of what you can afford is LEGIT ,,and how you tolerat the doses you are on ,,the more you can tolerate the better bodybuild you will become

5 im the absolut final aothority on bodybuild anywhere and everywhere,,you go do a poll and find it out,,do it on any boarding on internet and you will get same result ,,i got there NOT by mistake

gh15 shall tell youi why he is not,,and why it come off as ludacris and pathetic what you say to any serious bodybuild which many on getbig are among the jokes and the shits many here are serious pupils of mine,,many many ,,more than you would believ

when joe coach say he doesnt do 1 gram he leave is in a blurr of a sentence,,he throw in the air ,,,ya know fellas i didnt even use ever 1 gram ,,you are using what scambag danta does to those kidos,, you are using and twisting an already twisted reality to fit into your ways of clean squicky wasnt there never done a thing attitude,,

we are not talking here about 1 gram of anything,,we are talking speficif and as gh15 shall demonstrate to you now,,you are deep in as we call it in bodybuild

1. you are using trenbolona like any other bodybuilkd ...100-150mg every 2 day will sufice that = 350-500mg a week

2. you are using testosterona like any bodybuilder do ....500 of legit human grade at the least tend to go 750mg but also would go higher with ug  that = atleast 500mg a week of testosterona

soooo there you have it  500mg human grade testosterona + 400 mg trenbolona ace = 900 mg anabolic steroids ,,,kappeesh?

then ther eis the every bodybuild lie and it is lies about the eq  you  most likley use vet grade in past and did the 50mg per ml injections ,, still today its possible to get and still 350mg of that is = 600mg of ug eq ...soooooo this is the litle lie that put you little over 1 gram into the 1 200 zone of anabolic steroid usage,,with products changin here and there but yes thats why you say the magic 1 gram stupid word most of the morons on internet love to use,,

thennnnnnnnnnnn we need to talk about the real bodybuilding,,and it is HGH .....OH YOU ARE USING HGH,,YOU USED IT FROM PICTUR EOF YOU I SEEN ,,YOU USED HGH NOW THIS DOENST COUNT IN YOUR 1 GRAM COUNT RIGHT MR JOESEPH? THIS IS BASICALLY EVERYTHING IN BODYBUILD THE USAGE OF GROWTH HORMONE ....then you have the rest of the none steroid per say produc that can pass by as beta balonie as gh15 like to call them and shall be known from this day on ,,BETE BALONIE PRODUCTS,,they ae used too by many

so there you have it friend,,you like any other moron who through the years failed and degraded by gh15 ..prove once again why gh15 rized to be god,,because someone had to come out and say it loud and clear,,someone had to show it to next generation and oh gh15 did and as a result you have today smarter more sophisticated bodybuilder that know the truth and doesnt get frastration or believe the nonesense they hear from the local 240lb moron in their gym about eating alot and training every day ....

its too big on you coach ,,the whole gh15 is too big on you ,, get off the tree,,just dont lie to thoe kids,,and dont try to pass off as squicky clean and 250mg fella because no one is

you consider yoursel fb odybuilder because you do what we do ,,you take exactly what we take,,you know trenbolona is the gold and gh is the diamond ...you know testosterona is the platinum that hold it all together,,very simple concept that every bodybuild know

testosterona+ trenbolona ace + legit gh = bodybuild worth taking second look at

add insulin when you lean enough and it = 2000 class profesional

I've never taken tren in my life. I get more satisfaction in seeing my high school athletes succeed, go to college and in some cases turn pro in their chosen sport. The last time I competed was fun, this time it's for fun. Bodybuilding is a very narcissistic, self centered industry, I'm not that way (anymore). i don't ware tight shirts, I ware either long sleeve or baggy clothes, even when I was "in shape".

do you se me or jason or dex or anyone of the top fellas wearing tight shirts? we always wear loose shirts we actualy try to find 4xls and many of us wear 2-3xls on regular basis ,,no our fault they look tight on us,,we all wear baggy things,,we all wear baggy pants,, you dont need tight shirt to see if you got muscle and in shape,, even dumb whores can recognize a sculpted fella with size under the clothes,,they know it becuase you can tell it with one look ,,there is the BOOM look and then there is the poof look ,,the boom look is easy to recognize under clothes ,,ofcourse inorder for the boom look to be a boom look you need ot have size and for that the only solution is hormones,,conditioned size can ONLY be attained with hormones

testosterona
trenbolona
gh

no diet needed as long as this 3 are in

you do pay price with gh since your skin get thicker,,but low body fat is low body fat even with think skin,,as with everything in life..more you abuse the more side effect you get,,part of the reason fellas here think someone is  15% bodyfat while in reality he is 8% is because of thick skin that hold water due to hgh prolonged usage,,

and you ARE bodybuildeer like any other one here is bodybuildeer,,no one would spend a minute on this site if they were not bodybuilder,,bodybuilder can be competetive and not competetive ,,it can be bodybuild for fun and it can be bodybuild for shows ,,it is BUILDING THE BODY and that is what 100% of getbig members do,,well almost 100 percvent lol
