Chances are, unlike Flex's rides, Phil's will appreciate in value. Being that is Bentley's first "Green Car" and it's most powerful one to date...Jay Leno loves his (Murdered Out Black)

what kind of BS is this?  the guy is 30yrs old, favorite to be a multi-O winner, top 3 earner among the pros which probably equals 500k per yr, home owner, seems to take financial and life advance from jay, will be a top earner in the IFBB for another 10-12yrs etc, DU degree holding looking to earn his MBA, etc, etc.  now...he is going to financially collapse because he purchased 70-80$ used car when there get biggers driving 50k cars on 50k per yr salaries.

well no one knows phils finances.. but i highly doubt he is bringing in a half million a year.. that being said he does very well for this "sport".. but we know most dont make crap in this game.. what i dont get is this: this game can be very short lived.. injuries.. health.. and plain being out shined can happen at any moment.. instead of wasting money on the expensive homes and cars.. why not just live comfortable and invest and stash the money away? the mentality that they have is astonishing.. losing endorsement deals is happening all the time.. i diffinitely would not be comfortable living in a home and having cars that i could not afford when or if i lose my job.. what will these guys do after the bell has rung?.. will they have another job that pays them enough to keep their lifestyle? i doubt it.. branch has a shipping company.. good for him.. he lives within his means it appears.. but i wonder about many of them.. ask flex wheeler..

lets cut the BS!  phil played D1 ball which is a 2 part story.  At one end of the spectrum he got a 20k per yr education at a top liberal arts college, DU, and at the other end he still has that baller mentality...so what do you think would happen if phil got his hands on so called "player/baller" money.  Escalade?  Bentley?  Big House?  Brand Name BS?

for his sake he is new to the game and probably on the same stuff as jay, and look how long box cutter has been around, has said he follows jay's advice financially.  something is being put somewhere safe?  also...it's pretty safe to say flex was a ginny pig when he was in venice.  god knows what flex was taking.  too bad he didnt follow shawn and vince.  they all ran in that john brown camp.

Exactly right...and LOL at the fools saying "nice investment..."  He didnt buy it for an investment anymore than any of us bought our cars for investment...that said, Phil spending 80K on a car is equal to anyone here buying a 30K car...it's all relative.

As you see here in fantasyland...most are making WAY more...just an anology, you figure it out if its that important...Phils making about 500K/ yr., average GBer...0/ yr. as they're living off Raman noodles and Kraft mac and cheese.

Sad that people make such a big deal over a 2010 Bentley Continental GT Supersports (sorry not Super Speed), and saying that he is is wasting his money...if dude was really wasting his money, he would have gotten rid of his Lincoln LS, after he first won the Colorado Pro---his first contest...
Dude, has a level head on his shoulders, takes financial advice from Jay, who is good with his money. Phil is no Flex Wheeler, who at the same age was blowing his money on Rolexes, Mercedes Benz SLs, etc.
I call this as people on here being jealous...because they on one hand criticized bbers for being broke, and when they see one of the top bbers having something they don't have---they hate...because it puts what they haven't achieved under a bigger microscope...

And you never here a cross word out of Phil's mouth neither, he keeps grinding, so at least allow the man to enjoy some of winnings and give himself a gift...

Hey, I go to freshfoods as well.

I just don't think Evan is what people make him out to be...I do endorse what Melvin Anthony had said, "if you are not ready to do battle in Pros once you get your Pro card, then you shouldn't compete. Forget that wait a yr or or two"...
Now, the NPCs are diff than The Brits and the 80s was a diff era, so forget the Dorian comparisons.

Evan comes from a long line of overhyped bbers, who happen to be white: Chris Cook, Alex Federov, Dennis Wolf, Aaron Maddron, etc. Now, whether it's on purpose or not, it seems like these guys get this hype of being the next, without really being put to the test. Now, I do agree that they can sell mags, and are better for marketing than there darker counterparts, I just don't agree that giving them all the hype in the world without really being tested is good. Look what happened to Chris Cook, Aaron Maddron, and Alex Federov (who was pushed to topple Ronnie and Jay, when it was the other way around), and Dennis Wolf, who has never lived up to his hype.

Phil Heath didn't really have that much hype after he won his Pro card, it was only after he won his first 2 Pro shows in a row that he did. And then his famous Flex Mag spread...

I will give Evan this, he has a great set of arms and legs, a decent back, but I don't see the hype. But, I would place him over Melvin Anthony, Bill Wilmore, Troy Alves, Dennis James (if he competed), Dennis Wolf,  Marcus Ruhl, Hide, and possibly Silvio...possibly.

but your judgment is being very clouded by your racism. i know that you'll immediately deny that  over and over but we have seen this white versus black bbers over and over from you. its hurting you and how to see things in bodybuilding. but whatever, your 160lbs and never even practiced it yourself  so i dont know why i care about waking you up.

Yeah Melvin was always a guy with ridiculous shape but would just disappear some years and would straight up say that he didn't have the financial backing to compete which makes sense.

As far as Phil's car, its on point and I'm thinking between him and his wife that they have the money to afford it. Besides, who goes and buys a car like this outright when you can afford to lease it. This way when the time comes you can trade it in for a new model a few years later.

He has been making money from contracts since he turned pro. I don't think its an issue of money for him at this point to lease a 200K-300K car. He'll keep getting solid placing and making money from muscletech to afford a lease. Have you seen his house???

The only way to not loose money on cars is to obtain a dealers license and buy all used cars maybe 4 to 5 years old, depending on your taste.  Then you can drive each car of your liking for 2 to 3 months then sell it for a profit.  If your smart it can be a good gig.  Idiots need not apply.  Obviously you need enough cash to support this.  There are people who operate wholesale car businesses on credit, but you better be sharp or you'll lose your ass quickly.

Do you know how many Nigerians in my area have a "dealers license"? They have lots full of broke down, or older cars, that they ship to Nigeria...

and?  Where I come from the Arabic people where shipping caprice classics to their countries.  It's about making money.  What I was saying is that you could buy some exspensive cars, if you have the cash.  If you don't know the wholesale business it doesn't matter, and I'm not black if black bothers you, I'm Italian.

i love cars but i don't understand guys that get some money and guy these exotic ones. you drive it off the lot and you lose 5k. why not put that cash into a mutual fund for retirement. then when you are extremely wealthy then buy the car. bbing is not going to last forever for phil

That's not true because a dealer's license costs around $500 a month ...plus you need to have a storefront with a parking lot for atleast a few cars (in Illinois it's this way...my buddy is a car wholesaler)

So in 2-3 months you're looking at $1000 to $1500 to drive a car...plus the money to pay on your store lease.  That's money lost son.

Lot of haters in this thread.

A car is not an investment. You have to be a complete fucktard not to know this...it's like the smokers who get cancer who sue tobacco companies.

My man you are right that's why you sell at least 20 cars a month from the store front also.  I'm retired from this game.

Chick, you've been quiet lately!  I thought you'd be gone from getbig.  Props for not leaving.

Why do you hate black people so much?  I think TO is in order for you.  We can't all be blonde Scandinavians like you , "Parker". ::)

But, I would place him over Melvin Anthony, Bill Wilmore, Troy Alves, Dennis James (if he competed), Dennis Wolf,  Marcus Ruhl, Hide, and possibly Silvio...possibly.
well he did beat alot of good bodybuilders at the ny pro, maybe not top 5 olympia bbs but descent pros so overhyped? no, hyped? yes. He has already proven that he will do just fine as a professional

For that matter, I think his claim of eating Raman and Kraft Mac and Cheese should be audited, too.  People got all bent out of shape that he implied an average of $0 income, and yet no one freaked out that he said every one here only eats raman and mac and cheese!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOL...ok, toughguy....well we'll wait for you to conduct a poll on what the "actual" average is...should be no problem since 99% of them are anonymous...

Silly me..I just figured the general idea would suffice to get the point accross.

Knock yourself out, champ...we'll be waiting for the actual numbers
