It gives me great pleasure to announce this months winner of the prestigious Most Positive Poster on Getbig award. He's a man that commands respect and has been the anchor of Getbig for some time. Many people come and go but he stood the test of time with his posts and great respect for the industry. There has never been a man that has overcome so many obstacles only to dust himself off and get right back up with a level of intensity unheard of. His itellegence is high, his compasion is far reaching and his love of this board and the great sport of bodybuilding is unequaled...

Negativness attracts like a magnet to pathetic feeble minded people like Tinnnitus. He has used KING23 for his "Divine Object Of Hatred" so he can escape parts of his life he wants to forget. Shame on NewMom for not taking this moment to let KING shine and give him thanks for all he has done for all of you. This award has the same spectacular height as the Mr. Olympia contest. Instead of celebrating this fine moment in Getbig history, the malcontents round themselves up and start a bashing ceremony. How sad, that people can't fight battles in real life and turn to a message board to try and act out their male "tough guy" fantasies. How lame is it that these few people harbor such hate that binds them together in latent homeosexual ways that are unheard of. People feel better when they are part of a group (this is why kids join gangs) They feel wanted and do and say things they would not normally say and do if they weren't part of that group. They need that group to survive because on there own they are weak and filled with strife. Many on this board need to take a self inventory of themselves maybe even partake in some Gestralt therapy to deal with their emotions in a positive way. Behavior therapy can also help with eliminating unwanted feelings.
The reason why so many people on this board are angry is because they are not dealing with the emotions and feelings in real life or they just can't. The Boss that "rides" you at work, the girlfriend that is never satified. These negaitive people come here to vent there anger expecting a emotional release or catharsis. This catharsis hypothesis maintains that we reduce our anger by releasing it through aggressive action or fantasy (GetBig or D&D)
During this Afterglow effect of attacking someone on GetBig, these posters feel better about themselves, almost feeling euphoric for hours afterward. Depite this though, catharsis never really does "cleanse" one's rage and that is why you see these people (posters) come back and attack even more.
So this is my professional opinion on how to deal with all these negative feelings and emotions, so listen up because I'm not charging for this-consider it a gift, ok?
1. Bring down your anger by waiting. Know that your emotional arousal will simmer down, take a walk, get off Getbig and re-connect with a loved one.
2. Deal with the anger in a way that involves neither being chronically angry in every little annoyance nor passively sulking like most of you on here do.
3. Remember, I've said it before, anger can benefit relationships when it presses a greivance in ways that promote reconciliation rather than, what all
what most negitive, childish posters do on here, retaliation.
4. Last but not least, Civility means not only keeping silent about trivial irritations (GetBig Mass Hysteria) but also communicating important ones clearly
and without hatred.

I do usually work out all the time. I always workout in some way, whether it's biking, climbing, or whatever. But I recently took a long layoff from the weights. But I love lifting weights and been doing it for a long time.
I don't look impressive because I don't use steroids. If you came off the steroids you would be a SKINNY little SoCal sideways hat wearing guido bro, and you know it.
I am in great shape. Healthy, strong, great cardio condition, my physique just isn't looking too impressive at the moment.

Yes I agree, New York is wonderfull this time of year. Tonight reminded me of a warm crisp night in Fullerton. I swam the Hudson. I just finished a delightfull dinner at Mesa Grill and sat next to Sheppard Smith. Wonderfull. Now back home to watch American Idol, (DVR'ed of course because I live in NY)

Xerxes, your a funny one, pitiful yet funny. You suffer from body dysmorphic disorder. You're small and wear the white, wife beaters that they sell at Walmart six for a dollar (not even the beefy heavyweight ones) You're the type of guy that wear's them until they are threadbare, see thru and full of numerous fast food stains preferably from a Taco Truck that passes by your rat infested apartment complex with clotheslines hanging throughout the trash filled courtyard. You're the type that goes to the local lawn Fetes, field days or Corn fests, swaggering in like George Jefferson. You always go into the house of mirrors, looking at yourself especially in the one that makes you look a little bigger. You subconsciously want to believe that this is the way people see you and you see yourself but to no avail. hey you work as a photographer? what lens do you use for portraits there? im getting tired of my 50mm 1.8, it misses to focus to often. should i go for the sigma 50mm 1.4 or canons 1.4?
Mensa, I took that test at the local Library, first one done, newpaper guy was there and laughed at me...I passed he failed! Went to one of the meet ups and they were all playing chess....I have no clue how to play chess...lol.
Mensa, Photography is my hobby...I shoot portraits with a 200mm. D of F is really shallow with these. Very good if you have space.

Your an alright guy Mensa. In the winter it's very hard to shoot with the 200mm because I have to rent space and right now I'm finishing my doctorate. I'm going to be partnering up with KING and looking to buy a military issued HUMVEE. I'll be going down to Duluth Georgia to buy one this summer.
