You are still missing my point. Who cares about real muscle. The days of Dexter beating Phil are long gone and the judges don't care about foundation or whatever. Phil will do whatever it takes to try and win the Olympia and this is clearly the case by what I see in these recent pics. I really really wish we had a line up like we did on the 90's but we don't and I personally don't feel about the Olympia like I used to. For the first time ever the Olympia is just another show.

Jay was off last year and still beat Phil. Last time Kai was on (2010 Arnold), he beat Phil too.

clavicle width just isn't there. chest doesn't even go with this physique anymore, can push it out but can't give it more width, given the clavicle issues. flex wheeler's chest was better, and it wasn't anything to write home about.
he wins MrO because there isn't shit after Jay to stop him. he kills kai's fat ass. phil is a long, rangy 5'9" and can put on some extra lbs if he needs. based on last year's O, kai is maxed, can't play the ronnie game without coming in looking like black Jello pudding.

I think he's got an OK taper - not the best one on stage, but not the worst either. And he looks good even in the worst of his mandatory poses, while looking better than everyone in most of them. He easily holds his own in the comparisons, which is where most guys who look impressive standing by themselves don't look so outstanding anymore.
I don't mind Jay being Mr Olympia even though he just looks like a big block with little separation, since he's got maybe a year or 2 at the most left to retain the title. Kai has a ton of muscle, but looks weird in most poses, not to mention his really gay posing. Other than those two, I don't see anyone coming close to Phil, including guys like Branch and Victor.

The current crop of Competitors today compared to the BB of the 80's and 90's are in my opinion not even close in pleasing and realistic, impressive physiques? 80s-90s are way superior but that is my opinion! I prefer the 80s-90s by far but that is the past and they are never going back! Yes Phil looks like he has "sponged" out this year but that is the game they have to play in todays messed up BB world but for people to say the things they are about Phil is so out of line and off its ridiculous! If you ever met Phil you would no that he is very humble and grateful for what this sport has given back to him.
